Nope, not packed yet. But all my running around is done, car is cleaned out & gassed up, the DVDs Tyler picked are with the player and ready to go, a few new activities for the car that Tyler hasn't seen yet are ready to go, snacks are ready, and my last load of laundry is in the dryer. Taking a break with my dinner from Subway. Yummy!

What was the From and To amounts? I have to put it in my budget coz we're doing it in 8 more years for our 25th....so if I start now...I can have a nice ceremony and party.
I was just getting the house under control from being away two weekends in a row, patting myself on the back.
I'm relaxing a little bit after my morning shower, and the power goes off. I jump, get dressed, and run outside. The yard guys are flicking the power on and off trying to get the sprinkler timer working.
I open the controller, take out the 9 volt battery and put it to my tongue, dead. I go in the house, bring out a fresh 9 volt battery, plug it in and the controller is working. I look at the pool, it's green and I check it's controller, it's all wrong and not turning either.
So I open up the electrical panel, and sure enough, the pool circuit was off. So I switch that on, clean out the pool filter, throw in some chroline and go in the house.
The oldest was home from school yesterday with Pink Eye, so I go grab his mattress cover to put it back on his bed and I hear a crinkle and one of the dogs barks. I look out my beautiful custom 9 ft tall french doors and all I see is cracks.
So I go outside to take pictures of it for the insurance company, and the glass starts to fall from the door.So I call the insurance company back to say "I need someone to come and help me with this 9ft tall piece of fractured glass coming down." They ask, "Are you going to be there today?"
"Yes", I reply as I'm still doing the laundry from yesterday's Pink Eye decontamination.
I need a spa day.

Thanks Deb! Well, if I do need to take a quick nap, I'm going to have to do it when Tyler's sleeping, but I'm sure I can do that. It will be fine though because I'll be listening to the movies he's watching and I'm sure he'll be drawing great pictures for me with the new crayons & paper pad waiting in the car for him. He's going to be very excited to find a new pirate coloring/activity book waiting in the back seat for him. I can't wait for him to see his new goodies! Nothing major, just new stuff to make the drive more exciting.Holly, I hope the long drive goes well, it sounds like you've got it all covered. If you do get tired behind the wheel....PULL OVER! Don't drive sleepy. You can always rest at a well lit and safe tourist info stop...just lock all your doors.
Have an awesome time with family and friends at the wedding....take LOTS of pics with the new camera....don't forget it!

And TONS of his favorite foods! I think I overdid it on food, but it will be fun to have a picnic on the way at one of those pretty roadside stops farther down.
