Knowing my friend John, I am guessing he is like me, and just would not go for a Corgi. I agree, perfect dog for a cat person, but somehow a dog that just comes up to your ankles just doesn't seem like a dog! Probably a guy thing too . . .

Amy wanted a smaller dog too - but I wanted a dog I could play with, wrestle with, and who at LEAST came up to my knees! The one great advantage I could now see in a Corgi or similar dog would be the inability to reach the counter tops!:rotfl2:

John,

Have always considered myself a "big dog" person (for a cat person) and had preferred those above the knees dogs, however, they are a lot more work and exertion and I don't like the paws on the counter thought!!

A question for all of you experienced e-bayers . . .

I have two tickets to all of the Indians playoff games (including the World Series). I will not be able to go to all of the games, and would like to sell some of my tickets to make my money back, and make some extra from crazy fans if possible. The World Series tickets in particular are really expensive ($175 - $200 each).

Should I try to sell the games I do not go to on ebay?

I have bought stuff on ebay, but never sold a thing - should I do this?

We have sold tickets before on ebay and if they don't sell you do still have to pay the fees. I would almost try craig's list first, although ebay has more fail safe protections in place.

I'm going to be buying a few bits I have learned about on the Dis when we are over in Nov/Dec.

Airborne - can you tell me more about it?

Non drowsy Bonine - I am not sure if I will feel sick onboard or not, but think I might take this for the first day/night.

Downy Wrinkle Release - sounds good.

Marilyn,

The Non-Drowsy Dramamine gets my vote! The only thing that has not made me quesy (sp?).

My post op appt. went very well. My surgeon told me everything looks great and I should be able to go back to all my normal habits. Hooray!!!

She also told me I could pick up my gall stone from the hospital pathology department if I so desired. Yuck!!

Scrapbook?

I'm too tired to catch up but wanted to stop by and say "hi"! I'm having a great time at the del. http://www.hoteldel.com/ It is just amazing. I had dinner tonight at Mister As - http://www.bertrandatmisteras.com/ It was amazing. Wondering duck with Caymus. I'm at a conference and a vendor we work with treated about 20 of us to a fabulous dinner.

This hotel is incredible. I have a great view of the ocean from my balcony. DH can't come tomorrow as planned due to work. Major bummer. But I'm happy he is busy, as that is good news.

Anyway, I will try to catch up sometime tomorrow. Good night all!
Lisa

What year was the Caymus? Always a favorite! We carry it in the shop and always sell lots!

And what is a Wondering duck?

Glad you are having a good time! Looking forward to pics.

Hi

I am back from Spain last Monday.

High

Lovely hotel, lovely balcony good view (13 floors:scared1: )
Lovely meals
Friend's Brithday - we all worn pink tee shirt with tiara. (will show the photo when I get my camera upload) later.

Low

We had a lot of raining, thunder storm:sad2:
On Saturday, still had heavy raining. As it was flooding down the street (wish take the photo, never thought about it)
We decided to go to inside shopping turn out it was outside from Benidorm.
After shopping, we cannot get TAXI for nearly 2 hours and we asked one spanish to phoned taxi for us but foreign people took our taxi. We were standing outside with pour of raining. Terrible!!:sad2:
Weather was not very good apart from warm
We didn't bring any raincoat, wellington boot!!

Last day I got a chest infection and it was very painful and got home and I was off work for two days, I was grumpy!!

When We left the hotel and went to Airport, as the sunshine was coming up :confused3

Next holiday I definetly pack the raincoat, umbrella and wellington boot!!:rotfl:

Granmaz

Good morning. Well it looks like I might be here all day as I'm waiting in for our new fridge to be delivered!!! Don't you just hate it........well before the advent of the internet anyway!!!:lmao:

Great news you have done so well Noel My mum had her gall bladder out in1964 and kept her gallstones(all 120 of them:scared1:) for most of the rest of her life.

I would not bother bringing the Bonine. They have it available free (or is that included??) at the Guest Services desk and also right outside the medical facility. You just take what you need.

That's a thought.

Another endorsement for Airborne. I took it on both adoption trips to China and never so much as a cough while nearly everyone else in the group picked up coughs and other bugs.

I must bring back a bucket full next trip to last us till May!:)

Well I DID IT...I booked us on the Sept 27 '08 double dip with our friends from our first cruise. We just realized that in the next 11 months we will be cruising three times....a 4 night, a 15 night and a 7 night. After 15 nights, I won't want to get off on the 7 night.

:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

No....can you believe it....a year in advance and all I could get was another GTY Cat 6. I went over to that thread and they've been at it since Feb and are on page 150 or something. Not as chatty as we are.

I'll have to wait to be assigned again. I hate the wait!!!!!!

:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

Not another GTY - it's obviously on your history now Deb - GTY forever!:rotfl2:

I've been chatty tonight. Hope I did not bore you all. I need to get to bed now. I have a terrible cold and I HAVE to go to work tomorrow since 3 out of the 4 of us will not be there tomorrow. Leaves only me to hold down the fort. I left work a couple of hours early today hoping to come home and lie down. But....both daughters needed me to run a couple of errands for them and both really needed me to do that, so....I got settled in about the usual time. Good thing I headed out early though. Things are always as they should be. ;)

Love it when you are chatty.:thumbsup2

Deborah, sorry your trip was such a washout. How disappointing. Then to get a chest infection too.:sad2:

I hope you did manage to have fun with your friends though.

Well it looks likeour delivery will be soon, so the day is free. I had thought to do some major organising - going through cruise/vacation plans, documents etc and see if I can feel more organised.

Jan :earsgirl:
Thanks Jan! I've decided having our own party won't work. I found out there are 20 kids in the class. The most people we've had in our house at one time is 12 and we were like sardines. LOL! House it just too tiny. But thanks for the party tips! Very cute website. :goodvibes

Holly, congrats on more weigh loss!! You're doing so well.:goodvibes

Been messing around on Facebook. Managed a few friends, but not able to find older ones as schools, nurse training school not on.

Fridge freezer arrived but can't be switched on for 8 hours. Then we can shop and fill it!

Moved most of my summer clothes into the out of the way area of the wardrobe, and moved the darker trousers back!!:sad2: Need some shoes as I have lived in sandals all summer and I hadn't realised I didn't have any comfy pairs of shoes. Not quite ready for boots yet.

Wow, look at my countdown for our next holiday. Funny, that looks so much closer that 8+ weeks.
