I'm not sure we will be doing any major excursions. I fancy just walking around the town the port is in at Aruba, but we will see. I think I will have to make the effort to go to the cliff divers, but probably just by taxi. I've forgotten what there is at Puerto Vallarta, though I think there are shops, beaches(not bothered) and hotels you can use. Cabo I have to look more seriously at Peggy's info.
I have a bit of a fear of being too far from the ship.![]()
If you are planning on going to see the cliff divers and not be in the restuarant, then you need to get there early! The 1:00 show will have people lining up at noon. If you are in the 1st couple of rows you can see, if not then all you can really see is the back of someone's head. You can stand next to the railing of the many, many stairs you must climb down and also see them. There are also boats that can take you out to see them. Maybe we can get a large table at the restuarant. All the seats are good from there.
Unfortunately, I don't have an excuse! I suspect only a zipper for my lips would stop me from being chatty!I think I chat/babble most because I am usually on here on my own. If I were with you all in your evenings when the talk gets more active, then I think I would be very quiet actually.

You have obviously been before Gydell. I also read somewhere that we aren't there for the evening unlike the last PC cruise, so we have less times available to view. Not sure how I would be on a small boat though.![]()
Hey, that character must have been modeled after me!When our children were young there was a tv programme called Rainbow and there was a character called Zippy who had a zip for a mouth!!
Finally! My boring day has come to an end. I get to leave work in 6 minutes and then pick Tyler up from school shortly after.Have a great day everybody!
We go every year! The boat is a tour so it takes a couple of hours. It can get rough. My DD and DGS have never been( I don't think he is old enough for our resort, even though there are lots of kids, and the dinners can take hours) so I want them to see the divers and the fort. If there is time then the chapel will be next on our list. I am sure in the next couple of years they will be able to go with us to Acapulco. They have been to Puerta Vallerta several times and next summer will be going to Cabos with us.
You must live within reasonable travelling distance to these places. Must be nice.
Can't remember whereabouts they are from at the moment - just a little NE of Atlanta. Is there a town Gainsborough or something?
Gainesville?
Oh someone from Georgia!
I lived in Georgia for 30 years before moving to California. I still miss all the wonderful trees and the sweet tea.Oh and grits!
I grew up in Lilburn and had grandparents in Dahlonega. I loved visiting Dahlonega and the Mountains up North.
