I don't have anything right now, but when they announce the '09 plans, I might have to book something right away and then hope to rebook onboard to get that discount!!!

I know there are threads devoted to this on the main board, with lots of guessing, but from past experience, is January of the year before about when the announce their plans for the following year? Or do they sometimes wait and announce things later? I am still patiently awaiting them to give us any details about our cruise and excurions offered. They are home from the Med now, so no more excuses DCL...we want to know about excursions!!!!!

I agree, I am such a planner - I want to know about the excursions...well truthfully I want to know the prices of everything!! I would like to have everything paid up front.....part time job in the near future for me!
Come Feb - I know our mortgage will increase due to escrow and then March Gator tickets are due and I need to save for that too! Tickets went up this year and they are going to increase a little for the next 5 years as well....! Yuck!

I know this is far off, but does anyone else have a cruise booked after this? Dummy dates for 09? John did you have something? and Kim? I am going to make sure I bring a deposit to rebook on board!!

No plans for us past 2008 yet, but I'd LOVE to see a cool 2009 itinerary! Unfortunately, if they announce the great 2009 stuff next January, I probably won't have the funds to book anything, because our repo cruise deposit will be looming! There's a good chance we won't make it back on DCL again until 2010, but by then there should be a new ship!

Daniel told me this morning that his interview went really well. He asked if he had a chance to make the team and he got a VERY positive response. He is still not too sure when he finds out.

Not yet, but we are planning on rebooking on our Dec 8 cruise for a Jan 2009 with the Geeks.

No, you were right the first time. Gretcehn just turned 11 and Annie is 13 (almost 14!) Vanessa is 17 and Daniel is 18.

By the way, his tryout for the VA Tech bowling team went good. 4 games and he averaged 210...not sure if that is good enought o make the team or not though. Last night he had to be interviewed. He told me it was not just how you bowl, but your attitude and grades.

Lisa, that is very good, even the pros only have to average 200 to get in to the PBA. I averaged 170 last night, a little better then when we finished last year, considering I did not throw a single ball all summer, bad Pj.

I want the team to change it's name from Open Season to Dirty Gutters, we'll see.

For 2007 they split the release, before Summer dates (all year for the Wonder), in January of the year before and then Summer and the rest of the year in March or there about. 2008, late fall '06 pre-summmer dates and January '07 for our repo and later dates.

Both years I was waiting for dates in the second release, lol.

210 sounds excellent to me. DH is a really good bowler, but I stink at it!


Olivia and I just got our package from the gymboree Labor Day Sale in the mail. It was like Christmas morning for the two of us. We got $346 worth of stuff for $102! Now we have lots of stuff for her to wear to WDW in October
