I am so far behind, I just found this. Went to the site but it is 9:32 AM in Indianapolis so probably the HEAT OF THE DAY in Aftrica. I will leave the window up and try to remember to check it tonight. Cool site! Thanks Bubba for sharing. I look forward to seeing Happy Hour at the Watering Hole tonight

:laundy: I wish there was a SMILIE for packing! We just got back from the Transatlantic and then a 12 day Med. cruise on Carnival......my DH read me the riot act on packing.......too much of this, too many of that! I wore EVERY PIECE of my clothes, and I will agree with him that I over packed t shirts and "good" clothes for him and our son, since DH wouldn't wear most of the "nice" clothes I packed. AND they don't need more than 7 pairs of socks and underwear, my DH will do :laundy: any time!

My big problem on this trip was that we took the airbed just in case the extra bed was uncomfortable....well they were good on both ships, so that was a wasted piece of luggage. BUT we do need all kinds of extra stuff for DS Patrick, since he's disabled; his wheelchair, his backpack, his bedrail, his computer, the sling to lift him from the floor if he falls (which he didn't do at all this past month!), his mp3 player, etc. ANd of course I NEED my camcorder and digital camera! Also all these things need chargers!

Next trip you will see us in the same 2 outfits the WHOLE time......:dance3: :lmao: Reminder to self: only 2 pairs of shoes! Only the MOST comfy! Wear stretch sandals to dinner!
But what about PIRATE NIGHT?pirate: AND FORMAL NIGHT? :groom: ANd FANTASY NIGHT?princess: :wizard: :mickeyjum

Oh, well, I have 11 months to think about it! :rotfl2:

:confused3 FANTASY NIGHT???:confused3

Postings from Karin is also a must read, as she works at the lodge and helps run the camera.

Thanks for the link to the whole site.

Where is that link? When I put Bubba's African link into a webpage I got a streaming video window but no home page to find other webcams.
THANKS in advance, and if someone has asked and answered this already, I will find it soon, I am working to get caught up.

I think you may have already found the link, but click on 'wildlife' top left and then bears! You have a few areas to look on the plan they could be anywhere, but probably not the hibernation den or yard now!

Southwest Airlines has opened up their booking window....book your holiday travel now! ;)

Does anyone know where we dock in Acapulco? Near the cliff divers or more towards town? I know where we dock in PV and unless there is a new dock in Aruba then we are right downtown. Thanks!

We docked right downtown in Acapulco in May 2005. I would not suggest walking from the dock to the cliff diving area, but would suggest taking a taxi. If I remember correctly, the taxi was around $10, but I could be guessing wrong.

Yes, last time we were in Aruba on another cruise line we docked right downtown.

Hi everyone. We are still around, just have 4 more DCL cruises booked before this one, so I will check in periodically. Next cruise: Disney Magic July 18 in the Med!

Someone mentioned that Alvero is trying to be the pilot for our May 2008 cruise. Here are a couple of pictures of Robert and I with him on the May 2005 cruise!

By the way, I had over 60 cruisers from our thread on the transatlantic scrapbook on the cruise in May. We had a great time. Can't wait til May. I am working on designing pages right now and hopefully will come up with some fun stuff for the new project.

Hello Linda, nice to see you. I knew you had a cruise or two booked, but 4???!!!

Anyway we look forward to seeing you here more as the cruise gets closer. You have so many hints and tips with your having been on this cruise before.:thumbsup2

Enjoy all your cruises.:)

Not planing on doing the cliff divers - just checking to see how far from a resort that I want to spend the day at is. We go to Acapulco often so I have done all the sightseeing too many times. Same with Aruba.

Forgot to say THANKS!

A DISer on our other cruise thread said that this image is from a site that said they are free for non-profit use only.

So, doesn't that mean we can use it for our logo too?

Thank you Deb, I've missed you too!
Thank you for your prayers....with all the help I'm getting I'm hoping for some brighter days soon. We're thinking of trying to find something as a remembrance at the moment...so any ideas would be good. We've thought of maybe a rose tree or something...

Rose tree sounds nice.

Hey all....don't think I have checked in in a while. John left the top down on the Mustang last night and it poured...not a smart move!

Work has been crazy buzy and I signed up to be a secret shopper and have had a ton of assignements this week, so far it's pretty fun and I can put the extra money towards the cruise. Friday night we are going bowling and not sure what we have going on this weekend.

We are using the pool a lot, the water is warm and doesn't have to be heated but it is a bit of a pain to try and keep Samantha's ear dry. Poor kid.

I can't believe it's June...where has the year gone already?

How does one sign up to be a secret shopper?

Elephant on the Africam now
oopse--leaving already

dahuffy posted on the Picture of the Day thread and in her signature it says:

"Cinderella is proof that shoes can change your life"

I thought the shoe ladies would like that.
