No TV tonight. Went to The Police concert ("Every Breath You Take," "Don't Stand So Close To Me," "Roxanne," "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic"). They rock!

Noel checking in for a quick post on what is happening in our lives.

I haven't been posting but have been reading. I saw my surgeon yesterday and had an EKG in preparation for the surgery. Since gall bladder surgery is not an emergency at this point (not having an attack now) but elective, I have to wait until the cardiologist reads my EKG before I can schedule the surgery. Not much energy and having to eat an extremely bland diet is not fun!!

My SIL still has health issues and now there is some concern about his kidney function which is ruining their summer. GS made the All Star Team in Brentwood and we are very proud.

I saw Lisa's post about the boat trip on the Tahoe Queen. We did the MS Dixie with Samantha when she was 4 in 1990 and have the sketch of her and her Dad hanging on the wall. Sam spent the entire trip looking for Tahoe Tessie.

Thanks for the tip on the local safari. I need to check it out for the GK's.

Last but not least, Cheryl (sister) called and said pipes must have froze and burst in laundry room at house in Lake Almanor so had to call a plumber. She forgot to turn water on lawn in May so lawn is dead. Sigh....hope I feel well enough this summer to go up and get yard cleaned up.

Will try to at least read and keep up.

Doing the Wonder again Oct 07....happy to finally get back on the Magic for this cruise....I like the Magic better.

I finally got my reservation made for the Rodondo Beach hotel....direct Oceanfront with a balcony....gonna love it!

Well now I've heard everything....just heard a news report about a couple in Columbia, SC found dead on the street without any clothing....police said they found their clothes on the rooftop of a nearby building and suspected that they had fallen 50 feet while they were doing the wild thing....how stupid, but what a way to go! At least they were eliminated from the reproductive gene pool!!!

Hi angel, good to see you trying to keep up....I think we'll look great in our pink champagne girls tees for our picture. PJ will come up with something great, I'm sure.

You take all the time you need to heal.....in the meantime, pamper yourself. Take bubble baths, go get a mani/pedicure, maybe a massage, definitely BUY SHOES and have some champagne in the middle of the day just because!!!!!

Thanks Deb, some great ideas there for when I can get out and about again!

What are your plans for today, angel? Have you been doing any painting?

No, sadly haven't felt like doing any painting recently, just feeling sorry for myself...

Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes. DD's husband will be going for tests in the next few days about his kidney issues so everyone please keep him in your prayers.

My DD has been able to be a stay at home Mom with her kids as her DH has been the primary breadwinner. He is a terrific husband and father to the kids and it is so sad to see someone at 40 suddenly be so debilitated.

I feel so lucky that I was able to raise my kids to adulthood without any major illness.

Amy is out today actually participating in the volunteer search parties for the missing girl . . . She once worked where Amy works, and her employer is allowing people to go out and aid in the effort to find her . . .

Carnival Destiny - once (loves the stops, hated the ship)
Disney Magic - once (Mexico); the Magic was my all time favorite!

Disney Magic - 1 time, western caribbean. I love love love the Magic.
Holland America Veendam - 1 time, Alaska cruise. It was a fantastic cruise.
