This got me thinking. Shall we share what cruise lines we have been on? Is anyone here a DCL virgin?

I'll start:
2 Princess Cruises: Island Princess and one ship I can't think of the name (college)
2 NCL: Norway and one ship I can't remember (college again - says something eh? )
1 Celebrity, Century
2 Disney, Magic (Eastern & Mexican)
4 RCCL: Majesty of the Seas (1- honeymoon), Rhapsody of the Seas (2), Grandeur of the Seas (1)

Wish list: Silverseas, Cunard (why not??)
Favorite: DCL (what would you expect???)

3 day Wonder (1st ever Pin Trading Cruise, found out i wasn't a one of those* people but I was a cruise person, lol.)

I actually figured she was because you mentioned yesterday how she thinks she can find her if she could go out and look. So when I saw on MSNBC this morning the people gathered to search, I was wondering if she's there. Way to go Amy! Maybe I'll see her on TV today.

Amy spent a long day hiking through woods and fields, and they did not find anything. They had over 2,000 volunteers walking and searching.

Disney Magic - 1 time, western caribbean. I love love love the Magic.
Holland America Veendam - 1 time, Alaska cruise. It was a fantastic cruise.

I've always wanted to try Holland as well - how is the "no tipping"? Do people end up tipping??

Thanks for the tip! I think I would pick Silverseas over Cunard. I also think SeaDream would be great. That being said, I can't think of a better ship to go on then the Magic and a better cruise than this one!!!

My brother sent me this - it is a little late for Father's day but REALLY worth a look. Very uplifting. Have sound on as the song is very pretty. It is a great tribute to Father and Son relationship.

Thanks so much everyone....this time it worked!!!!! I got my Cat 6....still a GTY, but I'm happy. I asked DU if I could add 5th floor preferred to my reservation....probably not, but I tried. DOD's for everyone!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the get well wishes. DD's husband will be going for tests in the next few days about his kidney issues so everyone please keep him in your prayers.

My DD has been able to be a stay at home Mom with her kids as her DH has been the primary breadwinner. He is a terrific husband and father to the kids and it is so sad to see someone at 40 suddenly be so debilitated.

I feel so lucky that I was able to raise my kids to adulthood without any major illness.

So glad to hear from you Noel, so sorry to hear your news...I will keep positive thoughts, prayers and pixie dust for your DSIL that all works out well for him and the family. It's so hard to lose your health, but to have such problems when you are so young is tragic. Keep us posted....

FYI . . .

Amy is out today actually participating in the volunteer search parties for the missing girl . . . She once worked where Amy works, and her employer is allowing people to go out and aid in the effort to find her . . .

Amy is truely a good soul, that had to be hard to do....what a great turnout from your community too, I think you broke all records. You and Amy seem to be right where you belong....together in Ohio....you're well suited to each other and the community that you live in, why change a good thing that's working well....don't know if you'll find that in CA???....we can all take an example here.

Have seen the Police once, several years back. Have been to probably half a dozen Sting concerts... always great! Loved the concerts I saw, two I think, where Chris Botti opened for him. They did some great "duets" together!

WOW....a western sunset....my first.....I'm used to eastern sunrises....I'll be on the balcony with my favorite beverage.....champagne, of course....watching my first western sunset....yes, Priceless!

Hi Gina, great to hear from you again....happy first day of summer!!! Do you get to spend many days at the beach? Where do you go? I have sooooo many great memories of days at the shore....starting from when I was a baby at Jones Beach....then as I got older....Smithpoint, Hamptons, Montauk, Fire Island, Long Beach then Shelter Island. Eastern Long Island beaches are among the most beautiful beaches in the world. Here's to the start of a great summer!

Hi everyone from the magic in the med. This cruise has been great. We are 1/2 way done, headed for florence tomorrow. It has made me VERY excited for the panama cruise. They have advertised the returning cruise discount, if you book onboard, and next to panama canal there's a big red "SOLD OUT"! There are so many people jealous of me!
I have met quite a few doing the cal-florida, but it looks like I'm the only one doing the florida-cal...
Oh well...

Yes, I have done a lot of thinking about this. There is a lot we both really care about in this community. The problem is that the community is in decline. My best option would be to find more satisfying employment in or near this community. I have even considered going back to school to get a more advanced legal degree in another area of the law, and the local law school that I went to has just the one I am interested in (L.L.M. in intellectual property). But how does a 46 year old, full time dad, school board member, who works 50+ hours a week find time to go back to school? That is what I am thinking about now . . . School would not be the challenge - the rest of life would - and how would I go on a cruise in May of '08?

Lots to think about . . .

The first week of our cruise with '07 dates was final exam week . . .

Oh, and before I forget Deb, Amy's favorite drink is a Bellini.
