....Yes, since I'm a news junkie, love having it available 24 hrs., I have been following this story since the beginning. I love real life (murder) mysteries. I like to try to solve them and then when they really are solved, I see how close I come. What's really incredible about this story is that her 2 1/2 year old was alone probably from Wed night until Fri am in the house. He was able to find bread and eat when he got hungry. How he didn't hurt himself or walk out of the house and wander away is a miracle.

I gotta say, with the bleach being spread around the rug in her bedroom and the son saying that mommy is in the rug when the bedding is missing, it doesn't bode well for her safe return.

How bizzare that you actually know the alleged father....he's got quite a history with the women and he has babies with all of them. That still doesn't make him a murderer, but the missing woman's mom said that her daughter told her on the phone Wed PM that he was coming over that evening to pick up their son. He denied this and said that he was supposed to pick him up Thurs AM and called her cell and didn't get an answer....but she was supposed to be at work that morning.....so it really sounds fishy to me. Motive: can't afford to pay any more child support.

We'll have to watch and see how it plays out. Scary that it's happening in your community.

OK....I do remember hearing about it now, but completely missed the part about her being pregnant. I only saw the little boy on CNN and the newslady was talking about a missing mom and how he was alone for 36 hours. I remember thinking the same thing as Deb: bleach spread around, boy saying mommy's in a rug, etc., to me means she's dead. I remember thinking the newslady must be a moron because she said something about not understanding what the bleach was about. DUH! And then I tuned it out. Sad.

Gee, if I could get her to come over to my house and cook and do my laundry, I'd be set!

From what I hear, I don't think that would be a good idea . . . Her brothers may be good looking guys, but bad news. Involved in "unsavory" things - arrests and prison time . . . I wouldn't do that to Holly.

I guess I should have read further before posting my last response. Oops! Umm.....thanks, but no thanks.

FYI, if any of you have been following national news about the missing pregnant woman in Ohio, that is happening in our community. The alleged father is one of our assistant middle school football coaches. Sounds like a big MESS, and a terrible tragedy until she is found safe.

We've been watching and praying for her safe return, for her little boy, her baby and your community, John1.

Me too. I loved the episodes when they had child guest stars and Vicki got to have those little romances. That show was the reason I always dreamed of going on a cruise. I thought it would be so amazing. My grandmother said she would take me when I graduated HS if I went to UConn, but I chose private instead so I lost my cruise It wasn't until 2005 (17 years after my graduation) that I finally got to go on a cruise (3d Wonder). DH actually wanted it to be a "surprise" but he had me book it since he knew I would know where to get the best deals

Oregon State is Playing UC Irvine. I don't know if it is the first time in history this has happened, but on the field is a team with jerseys that read "Eaters", and the other team's jerseys read "Beavers".

Oregon State is winning right now (6-1), so I guess you could say in a twist of fate that the Beavers are giving the Eaters a licking.
