Time for a nap. Three hours of driving, party with over 30 kids running around, too tiring for me. Catch you all later!

Deb that is a cute kitty! 4 weeks is young to have left her mom, but I am sure she is being well looked after.

Holly - 30 children at a party is my idea of a nightmare!:scared1:

Just watched Dr. Who!!!!!!! Fantastic!

Peg and amyamya.....I hope by now your kitties have come home....please let us know of any updates.....I'll keep positive thoughts and prayers and pikie dust for them both to return home safely.:goodvibes pixiedust: :goodvibes

Thanks so much, Deb! I was just looking at Tom's little kitty and missing ours. We are afraid the worst has happened and a coyote or fox got our Oswald. We are super frustrated because we wanted to find him and get his collar. Luckily our DD is too young to understand what happened, but she asks where he is constantly and every book she picks to read has a cat in it!!!
There is still a chance he just wandered off and will comes cruising back into our lives like nothing happened....here's hoping!

I know! Self quoters anonomous!:rolleyes1 But this video is too cool!:thumbsup2
Mornin' EllaEnchanted!

I agree! In her back yard she had 9 different game stations set up (with parents and older kids recruited to run each and give prizes at each), a popcorn station (my dad and stepmom manned that one), and a "fortune teller" (her day care provider did that one and was hilarious!). That spread all the kids out so that it didn't seem too crazy. Quite a few stations were under a tent, so it looked a bit like a circus. One screened tent had food, one had gifts, and the pinata was hung from a tree later. When all the kids lined up to take a turn whacking it, that's when I was able to count how many there were. The whole event was quite an ordeal and although she had helpers, I often suspect my sister is Superwoman in disguise. ;) I was worn out from the heat and slept for 3 hours when I got home. She still would have had to clean up and definitely wouldn't be napping because she has 2 kids and a husband that doesn't help at all. She's an amazing woman! But then, aren't all mothers?! :thumbsup2

Wow! No posts from anybody other than me for 5 1/2 hours! Gee, you must all be watching the wild animals! ;)

Goodnight all!

I know I am about 15 minutes early for the dads on the East Coast, but could not pass up after Holly's post . . .

Happy Father's Day to all the other Dad's out there . . .

From the leader of the Lost Beer boys, raise a cold one tomorrow, especially if you are one of the dads who does help and is always there for your kids!

Love my mustache & beard.

OK....enough torture. I have about 300 pics from our trip, but won't post any more. Just tried to pick out my favorites. ;)

Love the pictures. With three cabin boys, now you know why I became a pirate. It was either a pirate captain or a drill sargent. Pirate just sounded like more fun.;) Plus I get to play dress up.pirate: Makem walk the plank!

Oh, here's a funny picture to enjoy. It's a picture of my corgis. I shaved them for the summer.

And the evil eye for shaving her in the first place.

Hope everyone has a great (and healthy week). I'm going to DC for work until Thursday and won't have access to the board until I get back.

Keep an eye on the wild animals for me!

Take care!

Lisa,

I loved our Acura RL! I traded it for an MDX and love the space, but miss how amazing that car drove!

Ted just got rid of the Suburban last January when the lease was up and now he drives a "Very swift" Accord! He seems to enjoy it, but I always feel like I am sitting to low to the ground now... how quickly we change, I drove a sedan type vehicle for 26 years and have had a SUV for only 5, but still prefer them now.

Karen
We'd love an SUV - that will probably be our next car. Lisa

Wish I had a Z3 . . . but you have four DH's? And all this time I thought Kim was the only one from Utah . . .

Ages - 9, 7, 4, and 1 1/2. Our town actually had an article written in the Wall Street Journal about how many of the families that live here have 4 kids. I guess a little Utah in California! While I was pregnant, another mom from school was pregnant as well. She had a 3 year old and 1 year old. Ended up she was pregnant with triplets! So 5 kids under 4 - can you imagine??? No fertility drugs I think....just good old fashion triplets!
Lisa

Wow,I have never known this threadto be so quiet!!!

Happy Father's Day to you dad's.

Yes,all mothers are amazing!! But,she went above and beyond, particularly if hubby doesn't help!

Endkaos - your corgis are cute. Our Queen has always had corgis so you are in good company!!! We don't seem to see many around these days.
