I was wondering when the Impala were coming to get a drink! We got to see them off in the distance and now they are heading down for their turn.:cool1:

haven't caught up with todays posts yet, just wanted to post before I read then headed to bed....

we are busy with end of school year, we are moving Molly to a new school in the fall. not bilingual, but she is allready fully bilingual & biliteriate (spell check that for me huh), so we will hope for the best and tell her she has to use her Spanish every day anyways.
We have a new principal at our school and she stinks. We have lost 8 teachers and 2 staff so far this year, many of them leaving as a direct result of the principal being unbearable to work with. Paul sits on the governing council and is working hand in hand with our board superintendent to resolve the situtation (remove the principal) it's be a long year to say the least....we are having Wilson return next year (we are die hard bilingual education advocates) and we really want him to get to the level of efficency which is at least thru 3 grade.

so, I haven't been around much, sorry.

couple that with the trip and trying to get work stuff in place to travel for 3 weeks....not much time left in the day.

So, I'll pop in as I can before we leave (reading for sure) and will hopefully post a hello from HK Disney ~ 4th of July.

Best to everyone and keep me on the lists :goodvibes

I just saw a MAJOR shooting star...

"Star light star bright I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight...

I wish that - Noel and all who are ill feel better...

I wish that my kitty comes home soon if she can...:sad1:

Peggy Jo,

I am catching up, but I hope that your kitty comes home soon!

Sending some pixiedust: your way!

Karen

Thank you - for the kind words. I'm just trying to focus on other things right now. I have my moments...

I've now got the cam at home, and so far nothing.

I will be glad when I too, can post that I've seen zebra's...etc. I'm very excited waiting ...

Are you sure you guys that saw stuff - aren't in on Bubba's joke - that he really has a model with a webcam on his computer and he's just playing insect noises to throw me off?

I did hear a strange sound at work - but nothing came into view... really strange birdy type noise.

What's the time difference -does anyone know? OHHHHH I see something!

A bird? WHAT IS IT???? It might be a meer cat - I can't get an idea of size because I don't know the size of the "pond"... But it's moving!!!! It looks like a small - I CANT see it clearly enough - wish I could move the camera! But I finally see something! Where is everybody???? Come out and play.

Peggy Jo,

Watching right now, late, after 11:00pm, and there are tons of animals!! Our late night, early morning is a great time! Right now we have seen a baboon family with a tiny baby! Lots of gazelles and many birds!

Last night, after the DIS went down, I saw Giraffes! They were so cool!!

Keep tuning in, you never know what you might see!

Karen

:lmao: :rotfl2: :lmao: I recorded different sounds at the zoo!:rolleyes1 The time diff. is 9 hrs ahead of Pacific standard Time. Around 9:00 pm is close to sunrise there right now. The camera changes to color after sunrise. As soon as someone gets up at the lodge to operate the camera, it does follow the animals. Sorry, no Meerkats. Look up Kruger National Park to see the area in South Africa that this game preserve is in. It is called Nkorho. The Nkorho Lodge only accomadates 10 to 12 people at a time. You can hear them partying at night sometimes. Sorry for the ramble, but this site rocks!:thumbsup2Hope your gato comes home! Our "daughter" is pretty much a homebody, so she never leaves the back yard which is very small and fenced in.

Bubba,

Our Gata is an indoor kitty and is sitting next to me as we speak. I think of her as my other little daughter too!! (Knew we seemed sympatico!)

Karen

Yup, it's 10. I'm usually up til midnight, but not tonight! Still catching up on sleep from vacation. Strange how that works....I used to think vacations were supposed to be for resting. :rotfl:

We always say we're going back to work for a rest!

How some of these school Principals get the jobs in the first place is strange. I suppose you can just never tell how they are practically in the job.

Well it will be lovely to see you when you can pop in. Hope all the vacation plans come together and you have a wonderful time.

Nan, great to see you pop in! Have a wonderful vacation!

lucky you, i got stuck in vista, but lived with some wonderful girls....I worked at splash, in the photo shop, and when I couldn't get out of it upper frontierland in the candy shop....I hated working there, splash was so much more fun......and I spent a week in fantasyland for some reason....you were obviously on main street, yes? question, as I was leaving they were getting ready to open costzooming(sp?), did they take away the walk time when it opened?

Thats awesome. Splash is my favorite ride! I worked in the Emporium. No, they didn't take away our walk time. The "zoo" was only specialty costumes, at least while I was there.

Oh there are several Rhinos at the watering hole now! First time I have seen them.

I got so busy right off the bat today, I missed the sunset! Well, I can tomorrow!!!!

TGIF everybody! Happy watching/reading/posting - living life!;)

I just lucked out!!!! Two elephants came into the pond to drink and came RIGHT in front of camera and one chased the other off!!!

WOW!!!

I can't believe that I forgot to start my viewer. I missed the Rhinos and Ellies.
Maybe they will come back by.popcorn::

I have a question for all you Califorians. We were thinking of spending the day we got off the ship at DL but we are afraid it will be way to crowded, so are planning a different trip for that. However is there anything we could do that isn't to much $ and might not be overly crowded or will DL not be that bad?

Thanks for any help
Jill

P.S. I wish I could see the animals but our computer freezes everytime I load the viewer :guilty:

OK everybody, here come a bazillion pics from our Florida trip! Sorry if I irritate any of you with too many pics, but I just can't help it. Folks can always just scroll quickly through and ignore. :thumbsup2

Here we go!

At the birthday party of our hosts' daughter, they had a balloon guy come and he made cute balloon hats for everybody. Tyler asked for a crown, so here's King Tyler:

Here's Tyler loving their pool:

Later that evening, we went to the beach for a bit. This is one of my favorite pics of Tyler and I together. We don't have very many, since everywhere we go, it's usually just the two of us and I hate bugging people to take our picture. So here's a great one:

Sea World pics coming up next post.

Here's Tyler and his "Florida girlfriend" in the Wild Arctic:

Journey to Atlantis ride. Tyler and I are in the front row. This was his first water ride ever and he absolutely loved it! It was also his first non-kiddy rollercoaster ride:

He wanted to feed the sea lions SO BADLY until I bought their food and he saw what he's actually be feeding them! He was NOT happy about grabbing a slimy dead fish! :rotfl2:

hollys106.jpg

All the fish he tossed never made it to any of the sea lions. He just couldn't throw it far enough, so the birds got them. But this is him trying to throw it into a hungry mouth:

I just had to add this one because it's so cute seeing the baby jumping with the big whales!

Pirate ship pics coming next! :woohoo:
