Thanks everybody for the nice comments on Sophia - she is sure to break her daddy's heart some day . . .

Noel, I hope you feel better soon . . . take care, and keep us "posted"

John and Amy - great pics!! Sophie looks gorgeous! Is she dancing at all in the summer or do they follow the school year calendar?

An FYI for Vanessa, they follow the school calendar for the most part. I think they do continue some classes over the summer, but with vacations, I think that is mostly for the older kids who are dedicated more to dance than vacation.

I don't remember if I told you guys, but this dance studio teaches ALL ages, and all abilities. It actually made it much easier to sit through the show because it was not ALL just little girls in tutus. There was a ballet number with four young girls and a 50 something man, a group of seven senior ladies doing tap dance, and many, many numbers with disabled dancers. Several adults and kids in wheelchairs, and several mentally challenged kids and adults who did just a wonderful job of dancing and showing their talents.

One of the reasons we love this school is the diversity of the people who go there - not just the prima-donna little girls. The kids with Down's Syndrome can bring tears to your eyes.

John, those pictures are wonderful. Sophia will have to give us performance on the ship with my irish boy band "The Bilge Rats" accompanying her. ;) We'll be in full Celtic mode with Bobby Banana and Jack the Monkey in the front row.:rotfl:

Now THAT I want to see. I want to sit in the front row beside Bobby!

Been under the weather for over a week. Not sure what is going on healthwise but will keep you guys posted. This is the first day that I have been online since 6/5 and have much to catch up. Got a doctor's appointment today and will check in later.

Noel

Any update? :sad2: Remember I'm real close if you need anything. Lisa

Hi Noel, I hope you feel better soon.

EllaEnchanted: Wouldn't it be funny if one of the DISers ended up in 5122? Then you could possibly trade with them.

NotSoLittleMermaid: Have a grand time at DL and give us an update on the new Nemo ride and lines. We're not going until July. Oldest DS is still in summer school. He goes every year to keep in up with his peers.

Well, I should get off; the computer is making funny noises since we rearranged the home office. YIKES.:scared1:

As a matter of fact, since you asked....
I'm repacking because I leave here tomorrow morning to go to Phoenix, pick up my nephew (below) and Wed. a.m. we're driving over to DL. His mom will join us Fri. evening and I'll come home Mon.

Aren't you glad you asked?????:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You crack me up!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I know you're going to have a great time....Enjoy!!!:woohoo: :cheer2: :woohoo:

We're on deck 6 aft - Category 6 - so if you end up there we'll help you find your way around!:thumbsup2

Thanks Lisa, so nice of you....well I'll keep trying to get my Cat 6 and then we'll see where we end up....can you just imagine how lost I'll get when I try out one of the new boats....they're twice as big....oh boy....I'll need a map!!!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'll keep an eye out for you Friday. We'll be wearing our nametags (Lisa and Darrell). Have a great time!!

Going back again.....I'm so not doing something right! EEK!:scared1: :scared1: :scared1:

Hope you have a great time and don't forget the pics!!!

That would be fine with me if they were willing and Disney wouldn't mind!
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Of course, DH already thinks I'm nuts and should just keep the Cat 5 that we have now. Don't know if he will go for a switch?

Some people have a second home on the beach....my second home is 5122.
Deb: On Saturday we walked past your post-cruise hotel -- the Redondo Beach Crowne Plaza. It's right across from the marina, with lots of great restaurants nearby. Get an ocean view room if you can.

From there, we walked to the Hermosa Beach pier and saw dolphins and sea lions. Priceless!

Noel,

Wondered where you were!

Sorry you have been under the weather, hope you feel better soon!

Have missed you!

Anyone ever heard of africam? Hear is the most recent link....
mms://live.wildlife.wavelit.net/afsoiud214
It's a live streaming camera at an actual waterhole at a game reserve in Africa. They are 10 hours ahead of Calif. time. So about 8 or 9 here is early morning there and a good time to watch. We have seen elephant, rhino, lions, zebra, baboons, monkeys, giraffe and much more. Very cool and addicting!:thumbsup2

I love being closer to the water...I've been on deck 7 once and felt that I was way too high. I also like that I have the theater closeby and most of the restaurants....also the beverage center...always aft on the boat and just a short elevator ride away. I also like that I don't have a whole hallway full of rooms....so it's easier to find mine. It takes me a full week to find my way around the boat, then it's time to get off. If they put me in a different area, it'll take me two weeks to find my way around, then it'll be time to get off again. I'm really bad with directions and on the boat I'm worse!
:sad2:  :sad2:

As long as you can continue to find your way to 8016, and wine tasting, etc. then you'll be fine!!

I am usually excellent with directions (not sure why) and will meet you and bring you to the cabin if need be!!

That's so heart-warming, John!

Alex's dance group has many different levels too, and is very enjoyable. But they do not have any "physically challenged" dancers and I think that it would really be wonderful to see the diversity!

Karen: will you provide the "designated driver" service on the 11/10/07 Eastern?

We are on that cruise with you as well.

Woody

Oh well, just thought I'd throw it out there. Not to many people on right now I guess, or no one is interested enough to respond:confused3 Par for the course!

We're only 90 miles from DL so we go about once a month. Of course 90 miles could mean threee hours to get there!

We're hoping to get on the Nemo sub ride. I'll be sure to take pictures!
