Well, goodnight everybody! Too wiped out from being outside (doing yardwork) all day on this absolutely gorgeous day! Got to finish mowing when it got too chilly for the bees to be moving around much. Pulled TONS of weeds, trimmed rose bushes, weedwhacked the heck out of everything in sight, etc. Now my hamstrings and calves are screaming from all the bending, stooping, leaning over bushes, etc. today and 2 days ago. AWESOME workout! Haven't had time to go to the gym for a couple months (since school started back up), so it feels good to get some exercise. :thumbsup2 Can't wait to get weighed at my doctor's appointment this Tuesday to see how many more pounds came off! I think a couple more must have because the pants I was wearing today came off without even unzipping! WOOHOO! :woohoo: (Yes, I know I could buy a scale, but don't want to because I don't want to get obsessed with checking every day).

Gosh, what a bunch of babbling I just did! Sorry! TIRED! Off to bed I go.

I recall someone on this thread said they flew Frontier not long ago and they liked it. I can't remember much beyond that but I know it was a positive experience for them because I had never heard of Frontier and figured it was good to know that the person liked them.

I told about our trip on Frontier in post #19836 page 1323. We got good service and were impressed that they handled an emergency situation so well.

The person on the other thread said that she did a Yahoo Image search and found the picture of Mickey in front of the map. When I did that I got this page:
http://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...e=n-4185469921_q-.S4WvLU6fD.av.vlwo7CEQAAAA@@

Clicked the image and got to this page:
http://images.search.yahoo.com/sear...peg&no=3&tt=237&oid=26db462eb84850d0&ei=UTF-8

and it says IMAGE MAY BE SUBJECT TO COPYRIGHT

So, we are back where we started. We probably cannot get a professional company to duplicate it since we do not have proof it is free from copyright protection.

Back to the other design considerations!

Going to see if I can post pictures from a new site.

If I leave off the IMG I can post this and it links to the site.

What gives?

Sarah and Tom arrive at the Family Party in honor of their marriage. The Horse Drawn Carriage had picked them up at their hotel and delivered them to the Easley Winery in downtown Indianapolis, IN.

Nice pictures, Jan. I really like her dress.

I went to see Ratatouille today. It's a great movie! Visually stunning and funny. Word of warning: don't come hungry! After it was over, one of the group said, "I want to go home and cook something!":goodvibes

othic]Yard work....I still have to mow my back yard. Started to earlier, but I agitated some bees and after a few swipes back and forth with the mower, decided to stop until later. Didn't want to get stung! Now I've lost my motivation. But will probably head back out while Tyler's watching Treasure Planet. That's one Disney movie I've never heard of! We went to the video store to rent Free Willy (I know he'll love it because of his love for Orcas) and it turns out they're selling ALL of their VHS movies for $1.99! We usually use DVD, but for the price, I couldn't pass up the deal. Wound up buying Free Willy, Treasure Planet, There Goes a Space Ship, and The Crocodile Hunter Movie. :thumbsup2

Gee, too bad I couldn't swing over to your house for a quick visit because Tyler would have a blast playing pirates with your girls! ;)

DH and I love Treasure Planet!! DD is iffy on the subject.

We first saw it on one of our Disney Cruises! Interesting story...

We couldn't land in Grand Cayman because of bad weather, so we had a new Navigator with things for us to do onboard because we couldn't land.

We had planned to see Treasure Planet in the Walt theatre days before with the movie listing. Because of the change they did not have it listed anymore. I approached the Cruise director and asked her if it would be showing as we had planned to see it. She said that she didn't think that it would be showing, but that she would get back to me during our dinner that evening.

She showed up at our dinner, totally scared our servers! And she had set up the viewing of Treasure Planed that evening at 10 pm!!

It was only the 3 of us, our friends traveling with us and one other couple, in the Walt Disney Theatre watching the movie!!

Loved the whole experience!!

Loved the fact that DCL lived up to the expectations and our plan to see the movie!! So cool!

Just realised we will just miss you in December Holly. You return from your 7 night cruise on the 1st Dec and we go from POFQ for our 4 day cruise on the 2nd!

Hello all!! I found a spare minute, so I read through the last few pages of our thread. I wish I could keep up with you guys, because it seems like the thread is a lot of fun!

Things with us are going well. We went to see Ratatouille yesterday and loved it. Poor DH had to work and missed the movie. Work is kicking my butt! Olivia is talking up a storm, and learning all the important words, like "Mickey, Minnie, Donald."

OK, back to work for me!

I got my PHX to MCO flight yesterday for $155 on Frontier. It's not direct (connect in Denver) but for the price that was OK. I've never flown Frontier so that made me a little hesitant but I decided to go for it.

Has anyone flown Frontier?

I would also like to know if anyone has any thoughts on Frontier. I found LAX to Tampa 161.99 pp. Tomorrow though, I should be able to book the day I want.

On our way to Denver for Christmas last year, we were delayed in Chicago for 3 days because Denver Airport was closed due to a blizzard. To finally get us to Denver on Christmas Eve, American Airlines routed us via Las Vegas, and from there to Denver they put us on Frontier. It was a relatively short flight but comfortable enough, and all the staff both on the ground and in the air were very friendly and helpful.

And I just love those animals on the tailplanes! Have often seen them on the ground at Denver, and on TV adverts, but never thought we'd fly Frontier because they don't do UK flights.

I am having quite a problem organising the flights for this vacation! :confused3 Too complicated to go into, but we will eventually have to get it sorted and make some decisions.:faint:

Yup, I noticed that too. I had toyed with the idea of staying somewhere at WDW Saturday night after the cruise and having Saturday and part of Sunday in the parks, flying home late Sunday night, but am not sure financially. I guess I'd better decide before booking our flights! :goodvibes

I should have booked the flight yesterday....it was 121, now it's 161....bummer....!

Bummer is right! That's exactly what happened with the AA, United and Delta flights from LAX to MCO. I'm glad I booked when I did!

I really recommend booking early. I keep reading the prices for the airlines are increasing....

We got stuck in Chicago too! We were on our way to NJ for Christmas also. I packed our jackets thinking when we got to NJ I would just take them out of the suitcases at Newark....I never thought about the fact that we'd end up in Chicago, or anywhere cold WITHOUT our luggage (or a change of clothes). With the amount we've travelled by air you'd think I would know better.....:confused3

so, if I book now, and the price goes down do I get a credit?

Yes, in theory, but then it doesn't always work that way. Sorry, I wish I could give you a better answer V. Anyone have experience with this? I know the airlines aren't as generous as crediting as DCL can be with change in fares.

I did book my tickets today...was able to use miles for the whole thing! :cool1: Instead of 25,000 for the whole thing, it is costing us 30,000 pp BUT we get to fly first class from SEA to Orlando!! :cool1: :rotfl2: The party is starting early for the fourmcds!!!! Then the hummer the next day, boy my dds are going to be so spoiled!:)

House...well, the picture was taken quite a bit ago and from quite a distance to capture the whole mountain. I spent the whole weekend over there...the first 2 days vacuuming and sweeping up dead flies! No joke!!! The homeowners had left garbage in the trash compactor and the flies had a glorious winter in there, YUCK:scared1: :scared1: :scared1: Yesterday was spent weeding 20% of the driveway and that took all day. Scott calls them old growth weeds!!!! Some were taller than me:scared1: :scared1: The house needs new flooring throughout, new paint inside and out, a new deck, fencing, landscaping, and a kitchen remodel. Not too much:lmao:
Marilyn, to answer your question, when you buy a house like this, you need to go to the property that day and literally break in and change out all the locks. The original owner rarely turns over any of the keys or anything. We did that by 5:00 Friday, so now they have 10 days to contact us if they want anything they may have left on the property, otherwise it all goes to the dump. In this case, they took almost everything...maybe 2 or 3 dump loads. Some houses Scott has done needed a special cleaning crew to come in and clean. One house was so bad we just had the fire dept burn it down as part of a training exercise and we are rebuilding it.

Aye yes, we're making cold pasta salad and brownies because "Anyone can cook."

I'm just starting to look at flights too. I have my flight to MCO booked already, got a good fare and am arriving 2 days before the cruise. But I'm a little stumped for the return from LAX. DCL has told me to book a flight after 1:00 pm to be safe. Will it really take that long to get off the ship and get to the airport? I know you can never tell how long it will take to get through security and I have never been to LAX before :confused3 There is a good flight, timewise if not exactly a cheap fare, but it leaves at 12:15. Would I be cutting it too close? I hate the thought of having to wait until 9:00 pm for the next flight.
Thanks
Kathe
