Boy, you guys are quiet tonight. We were able to plan a church service tonight for the kids. We had about 100 adults show up and about 400 high school kids came. We lit candles and prayed with these kids. I think some of them had never been in a church before. It was neat that we could be there and offer up our new building for these kids to grieve.

We made great big HUGE posters for VA Tech, one for Erin and one for Reema. They are going to rool them up and sent them to Blacksburg tomorrow.

I never got the flowers to the shooters home. I went by and you could not get anywhere near the house. It was all roped off..Crime Scene.

So many media trucks and satelittes. So many police.....

Lisa...so great that you are able to be there for all these children in need. I am sure they all appreciate having a place to go to grieve together and with lots of support.

Sorry you weren't able to drop off the flowers, unfortunately, that area will probably be crazy for quite a while. The media coverage is pretty much 24/7 right now.

Hope you have a wonderful night!

Deb,

We ship any quantity!! It's just more cost effective to ship MORE!!

I will still give you the 10% case discount on a half case, if that is what you would like.

Just let me know, and I will do it for you tomorrow (Monday)

Karen

I'd like to get some of the Annie's Lane too if you have some available - it is my sister's name! Can you repost your website? Thanks, Lisa

I went with a popped rib once. I put a brace on, ate some muscle relaxers and had the best time anyway. I just couldn't go in the pool or hot tub because I needed to keep the brace dry and it would hurt too much to take it off. I only took it off for showers. But I still had a great time!

Right now, I would go on the cruise with two broken legs and arms and still have fun...I NEED DCL! :yay:
My friend started chemo today and said she wished she just "slit her wrists." A good friend at my children's school had her second bout of breast cancer and poor Lisa with Virg Tech. So sad.

Let' think about Champange girls... I like the orange label. Anyone else?? Lisa

I agree completely...DCL take me away:lmao:
Lisa I hope that your friends chemo treatments get easier and better.

Almost forgot....after last week, my vote is for Moet & Chand. not sure what the label looked like.
Actually I have a soft spot in my heart for Korbel. We had a case of it for my wedding and we had about 4 bottles left over. We opened one on special occasions...our first anniversary, at the birth of both DD's and on our first DCL cruise for our 10th anniversary!!!!!

The is list should be sub-titled movies that suck you in. If they are on TV, we can't change the tuner. Even if we have them on tape and could watch them anytime.:happytv:

Yup,

I totally agree with that. We get sucked in all the time and I am always the one saying, "but we have this on DVD?"

And we still watch...popcorn::

Enjoy your meal Mandy.

John came home from work with what looks like flu so is asleep right now!!! We fly to Lanzarote on Thursday so i hope he improves.

Hope he improves and that you DON'T GET SICK!! Airborne or zinc time.

I know what you mean....ALWAYS happens if I stumble across Princess Bride especially.

LADYHAWK......another of my favoriates. (I'm a big Rutger Hauer fan, and it isn't easy to find a movie where he is the good guy!)

We love that movie too! What a great list this has become!!

Reema Samaha, from Lisa's hometown and one of the victims from yesterday's shooting, was featured on the Today Show this morning. Her brother was interviewed by Matt Lauer. They showed many photos of this lovely girl. You can view the video on msnbc.com. :sad1:

Thanks for sharing the link. Lisa

Well, I'm off to sleep. My migraine lasted from yesterday morning until around noon today and I'm completely exhausted. Didn't sleep much last night from the throbbing every time I moved. What's interesting is that everybody knew when I was better today because they told me they could see it in my eyes. Most people took one look at me and said, "Oh, you look like you have a migraine." Gee, lovely to know I looked that bad! ;) Then, later today when a co-worker came to my cube to ask me a question, as soon as I turned to look at her, she said, "Wow! I could tell the second you looked at me that your migraine is gone." Amazing. Anyway, after fighting one lasting this long (even though it was much shorter than I used to get before my daily preventative meds), I'm usually pretty wiped out. Plus, after work today I took Tyler to a carnival that's here for a few days, so that wore me out too. Goodnight all! :goodvibes

Glad to hear you are feeling better. One of my best friends suffers horribly from migraines and I am the one to always tell her that she needs to sit down, have some protein (she is also hypo-gloximic (sp?)) and I can tell when she no longer is suffering as badly!

Take care!!!

We have always had an annual pass, so this is the first time in a while that we are buying hoppers for our trip. Mousesavers recommends Undercover Tourist (sure they have a partnership with them) and they offer a 25.00 or so discount from WDW itself. I found Orlando Fun Tickets, which actually saves 65.00 or so from WDW. Has anyone used them before or know if they are legit? They say they are an official seller of WDW tickets and licensed and bonded. Not sure if it is worth the extra 40.00 savings to use a company I am not sure if OK. Really need to have DH buy me a house in Florida just so I can get the resident discount! Do they offer those on cruises too V? Thanks for any input.....

Lisa,

The gift that you are giving them, with your faith and your strength, will hopefully also help you to heal. Bless you and your family and :grouphug: and pixiedust: to you all as you help all those that need healing at this time.

I have heard of the fun passes. They have them out here also. San Diego fun pass and Los Angeles Fun Pass. They seem legit. I was actually looking at them when we went to San Diego but Sea World was offering a better deal. Good Luck!

Kaylee, have you checked with DU? They say they have discount tkts also. They're certainly reputable. Not sure what their prices are, but it's worth a try.;)

Lisa, have you found a new pink outfit for your champagne girls picture...and new pink shoes and a bag too. Anybody shopping for cruise yet? We're almost at the one year date and then we can BOOK ALL OF OUR RESSIES. That makes me happy. :goodvibes

Lisa, I got your PM with info. Thx!
