Holly, it's great to have you back as your usual queen of postings...we certainly missed you. So happy that the whole student loan thing worked out. Now you can start your next semester refreshed and ready. How many credits will you take? How much longer do you have to go before you get your degree? It's great that your health is restored too and now you can go back to hitting the gym.

Thanks! I'm glad to be back, posting like crazy!

Taking 8 credits next semester (2 requireds at 3 credits each, and 1 elective at 2 credits). After those classes, I'll need 55 more credits. The following semester, I hope to bump up to 12 credits/semester, so that would be 5 semesters after next, so 2 more years (3 semesters a year).

Hey, I have a 30 something single male living with me, well, actually in the apartment above the detached garage. How do you feel about long distance relationships? Unfortunately, he's not coming on this cruise with us or you would have had that blind jeep date. But he will be on a cruise with us during Halloween. When are you and Tyler going on your cruise together? Maybe we could do a mini DISmeet and introduce the two of you. His name is, what else, John. He's DHs son and my step-son. He's extremely brilliant with a quirky sense of humor. Look at DHs picture in my signature and imagine him 20 years younger and that's what his son looks like....hey, you never know, stranger things have happened...

Hmmmm......well, you never know! Couldn't hurt to e-mail each other and see if we have any common interests. If nothing else, the world is always a better place with more friends!

How is the weather? It is a sunny day here. Gardners are cleaning the yard and the pool guy is cleaning the pool. I am staying home as I have some paperwork I want to review. DH is hoping to get off early but you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men!!

I'm so glad that this stress had been alleviated for you! It's hard enough when you've had tgo deal with health issues, to have that constant stress in the background is not good for your health either!!

Cleaning lady was here this morning so house smells glorious. She and her helper got here about 8 and left about 1.

How is the weather? It is a sunny day here. Gardners are cleaning the yard and the pool guy is cleaning the pool. I am staying home as I have some paperwork I want to review. DH is hoping to get off early but you know what they say about the best laid plans of mice and men!!

Very sunny. All the snow here at Old Greenwood has melted. We will head to Northstar Village and hang out at the Alpine Club there - hope to catch some of the Sharks game tonight. We are playing Disney DVD Bingo right now. Quite entertaining for the whole lot (which is always such a find). DH is working hard in the office they have in the cabin. He has gotten really busy now with his practice, which is great. He is going to get some office space now - found an office in San Carlos for $400/month. Not bad! He wants a nice big office in Palo Alto but probably best to wait a year or so for that over head. If you know of any good space (or if your DH knows), let me know okay? Thanks! Lisa

Not much snow this year was there? I am sure we are going to have to make it up next fall or we will be in a drought situation.

Palo Alto office space is really pricey. So many of the VC's have offices on Sand Hill Road which would be the nicest and closest for you guys but very expensive. If I hear of any reasonable office space, I will let you know.

ICheri, not sure where the dust storm was as talked to DD yesterday who is in San Diego and she didn't mention anything about dust.

Not Cheri, obviously, but we were in a mess, too. Interstate 10 coming into Riverside county and climbing the hills between Indio and Temecula (hwy 74/79 areas) were REALLY windy. Clouds were just zooming across the sky!

Nordstoms carries the line and there is also stores in La Jolla, Palm Dessert, Laguna Beach, Manhattan Beach and Santa Barbara.

I know the feeling Lisa....I have been very good on my "budget" until we know the final tax situation. This weekend I am hitting Nordstroms though....enough is enough They have new Mary jane crocs which are adorable and I thought the girls needed them for WDW! And, I need a few new things for that trip as well.

One of my favorite stores is H & M. I think it might be an English store (?). I don't think they have online shopping but I love to head there everytime I am in NYC. Another for comfy clothes is Chico's and their traveller's line. I think a new pair of shoes is needed now

Update on the house...

Thank you to all for the pixie dust....the house was not sold today at auction
We still need to wait and hear what the bank is going to do, but for right now we are set. We will head to auction on June 29th and hopefully the house will be ours ! We went there today and walked around, boy has it fallen apart in the last 6 months. It needs lots of TLC now, but we are ready, willing and able!!!! I'll keep you all informed.

We saw Meet the Robinson's today and it was so cute. I really loved the quote at the end from Walt Disney...that was a nice touch!!! My kids really enjoyed it (and the popcorn too )

Palo Alto office space is really pricey. So many of the VC's have offices on Sand Hill Road which would be the nicest and closest for you guys but very expensive. If I hear of any reasonable office space, I will let you know.

DH found some office space in Menlo Park that was reasonable a few months back, but it was before he was ready. Palo Alto is just insane - plus the traffic to get there. Sand Hill Rd would be amazing but as you say, quite expensive and out of his price range now. Thanks for keeping us in mind. Lisa
