I thought we were going bowling in Aruba

Our group did 14 jeeps in Grand Caymen....OMG....worst experience of my life....but we sure did laugh!! We drove to Rum Point.....all of us got stopped for speeding and several were threatened with jail!!

We got lost on the way back....almost missed the ship.....when we climbed aboard they SLAMMED the door behind us!! We were the last ones on board....

Really tells the story of teenage love and hormones, and mixing baseball up in there helped too.

V- What are the cops like on Aruba????

I don't think we saw ONE cop on Cozumel.

Besides that we had Captain Jack with us, and who would dare to stop him?

As crazy as my household is, I can not believe we are doing this. We applied in Jan to host an exchange student for a year. We have now been accepted and it looks like we will have a senior from Norway!! My girls are very excited.
Daniel will be gone to school....so he really does not care one way or the other.

I am not sure about you guys but I would have a very hard time sending either of my girls to a far away place to live for a year

So we all decided we can see what the life of an exchange student is like, by having one come to us!!

I have to agree with the person that said that they hope it does not take long. We love this ride - it is so relaxing, and the line is never long. A perfect way to take an air-conditioned break. Of course when we were there a few weeks ago, when you got off, it looked like an abandoned and unwanted area of Epcot. I think Amy would ride this and the Carousel of Progress all day if I let her.

I knew i liked that lady. Now how does she feel about TTA?

I am torn, I love this ride, but I am heading down October 20th, with newbies, anyone think there might be some soft opening opportunities? I won't be at WDW again until after May of 09, unless I come down a day early for the repo cruise.

Trust me on this, no one, NO ONE wants to be around if I Karoake. While I love to sing, I am the worst singer on God's green earth, and I would clear a room and embarass my family in a heartbeat. Amy would toss me off the ship, or leave me stranded by the side of the road in Aruba.

I'll just watch and sing it in my head.

Never had anything like that....Thank Goodness....

But, I can tell some pretty awesome "We almost missed the ship" stories....anyone have any of those???

I didn't say the sausage was bigger, he just moved faster around the bases. By the time he got to third base, and then scored at home, it was all over.

By the Way, Sausage came in first again tonight, but the Indians lost 4-1.

So more like a wham bam thank you mam kind of strategy?

I will check tomorrow....but I need to find out how many jeeps the rental co has available. I have everyone down so far who is interested.

How great! I was an exchange student my junior year to England. I loved it. We would host about 3 or 4 students every summer for 2 weeks. It was a transitional stop for the kids after they had spent a year in the US before they went back home. Have some great memories from that too.

Oh yeah, forgot that one. Another fav. As much as I love roller coasters and such I really like these too. You can always use a time out at WDW. And, if you are really LUCKY (like we were one time) Space Mountain will break down, and you will get to go by when the lights are on inside. It is not a pretty picture with the lights on.

We hosted a French Exchange Student in HS...for about 4 months, very interesting!!

Luckily there will be enough of us going (it sounds like it) so someone else might pick you up We'll have to hear for ourselves to see if it truly is that BAD!

We love TTA. Always ride it for a break from a hectic day. Then, of course, we walk around saying "Tom Morrow, Paging Tom Morrow..." or whatever it says, for the rest of the day
