Deb,

I agree about the touchpad, but I have gotten used to it (mostly).:rolleyes1

Of course, the other night I was logged into my work computer and I was highlighting test with Ctrl/Shift/arrow key and hit the Alt key instead of shift and ended up landscaping my screen sideways!!!

Good luck! Don't let it defeat you!!

Karen

I have really gotten used to my Macbook trackpad. One cool thing about the new Mac trackpads is that if you use two fingers on the pad, you can scroll. That has become indispensible to me.

Last but not least, this is our favorite photo from the whole trip:

Kayla brought a little Disney to the island

What GREAT pictures! Thanks for sharing. That little island looked like paradise!

OK.....somebody's messing with me! Now my Champagne Girl logo has the white background again! What the heck?! :confused3

Just an FYI Holly . . . (hope I am not ruining a prank!) I am assuming PJ put together that Tink logo. When you put it into your sig, it is the address of the original graphic. If PJ makes a change to that graphic, it will change how it looks either when you refresh the page, or go to the next or previous page, because it is now loading the "changed" graphic.

Hey guys- I’m working on a trip report over on that popular cruiseline message board (not sure if I’m supposed to mention the name here). Once it’s finished, I’ll try adding some compare/contrast to DCL and post it here. I’m trying to catch up on the work I missed though, so it’s a slow process!

Of course here I go reading through another 10 pages I missed! I can’t keep up with you guys.

Ellaenchanted- I hate the touchpad sometimes too. I’m used to it by now, since I’ve had this laptop for a couple of years, but it’s a pain.

GranMaz- After 15 nights it’s HARD to go back to seven nights. You get spoiled! We just got back from a ten night cruise on Sunday, and that felt too short. I’d love to try out the Wonder on one of its short trips to the Bahamas, but I know I’d be completely disappointed with only 3-4 days onboard.

John- thanks for the info on the multiquote. I didn’t know how to use that either. Of course I’m always so far behind that if I multiquoted, my posts would be hundreds of lines long.

I bought some great easter stuffers at the Target “One Spot”.

Gouodux- Great pictures!!

OK, going to catch up on some missed TV shows with DH.

OK all you Brits, Amy is in the next room absolutely cracking up. What is she watching?

"As Time Goes By" . . .

Thanks John! What a relief! I was starting to think I was losing my mind!

Oh boy! Can't wait! :woohoo:

I doubt it because it is a holiday weekend when we get back. There are quite a few hotels across the street from Disneyland that are not as expensive. I stayed at one in March. It was O.k. for the purpose but no magic going on there.

Thanks! I have called a few Disney "Good Neighbor Hotels" but it is still too early to book. I guess I will have to wait a few more months.

Hi Gang-I thought I'd post the info again about our Southern Cal DISmeets. If anyone wants to come that hasn't already PM'd me, please do, so that I can get you added to the ressie!

  • When - Sunday, May 20th
  • Time - 5:00PM
  • Where - Storyteller's, Grand Californian
  • Meal - Buffet (large variety of food)
  • Cost - $26.99/adult; $11.99/ages 3-9 plus a 15% gratuity that will be added automatically to the bill
For parties this large they only do buffet, so there's no option in matter. And for a group of this size, I think that works out better so that there's not any confusion with the bill, etc.

As a reminder, these are the people who indicated they're coming...if you've changed your mind, please PM me back so that I can tell them to remove you from the reservation:
LiserAnn, 4 (2A, 2C)
clynne, 4 (2A, 2C)
ibouncetoo, 1 (1A)
NotSoLittleMermaid, 1 (1A)
MrsMork and DrHug , 5 (4A, 1C)
firsttimecruiser, 3 (2A, 1C)
birkner, 2 (2A)
LisaG520, 2 (2A)
tink1963, 2 (2A)
woody73, 2 (2A)

That's all for now!

Any idea if we can use our AP discounts or not? (Not a big deal if we can't.)

We went to Borders last night and I passed to Paul (to buy without the kids looking) a balloon animal kit for Wilson....last time we saw a balloon guy he told us he started making them at 6 years old...needlesstosay...Wilson now wants to learn to make 'em too. Got Bunicula trillagy for Molly.

N

I love the Bunnicula series. I've always thought "The Celery Stalks At Midnight" is the best title ever! I lived with an El Ed major in college and she had to read these for a class - I think most of the sorority read them before the end of the semester.

Ok, not going to try to catch up just going to jump in. Hope thats ok.

Easter Baskets: The disney store had t-shirts for 3.27 with tax so picked up a few. Disney Pins we usually pay around 2.50 per pin I will find out the seller.

Been a little busy. Going to finally finish up our Princess cruise trip. Our favorite port was Belize. Funny thing is, we never even stepped foot on shore of Belize City. This port we had to tender. Our only other time to tender was in Cabo San Lucas in 2005. In Cabo, the tender was a short little ride to shore. If you did the Mexican Riveria cruise last time, the tender in Belize was at least ten times further. You could barely make out the shoreline from the ship. We instead, had booked a snorkeling excursion. Belize has the second largest barrier reef next to Australia in the world. Our excursion took us to Goff's Caye, which was a TINY little island about twenty minutes by boat from where we were anchored. We literally swam around the island while snorkeling! The water was absolutely amazing! The reef and marine life were incredible, though Shawn swam up on a school of 6' long Baracuda. Not as big as the one's we saw off of Key West, but still a little intimidating! Lastly, the beach was perfect and only had about 40 of us on it. It was a perfect day. Forgot to add, the grilled fresh Lobster on the island while we were onshore. It was $8 for two pretty good sized tails. We had four orders! It was the best meal we had all trip. Anyway, may need a couple of posts here - a handful of pictures:

Great picture's. I have been to Belize twice and will have to remember this excursion, the beach is gorgeous.

ahh...the advantages of having simple car where i have to rpogram everything in myself because it does not care what day and time it is!!! :rotfl2:

i wi shw e would move to that schedule here too...i went in january on our honeymoon in 1993 and there was no one there!!! the only time you saw crowds was during a parade---it was like where did all these people come from??? the lines were really short too....but things could have changed...the weather was great!

We did January in 2004 and loved it!

Love the trip report and all of the pictures! It really does look like paradise!:beach:

I also think that it's great that you are in the pictures! The opposite is usually true of us; DD and DH are in the shots and I am on the back side of the camera (my best side!!):rolleyes1

The one with a black background was a cop of one in a signature, I liked the size and tried to copy it and the background turned black when I tried to work with it in photoshop. So for my signature I just squished the original that is saved on photobucket.

On our last cruise, we booked our hotel through DCL and so we checked in at the hotel. If we had not had to get new room keys (for cat 3) we could have just used our keys from the world and got right on. This nice lady sat in the lobby at the DCL desk every morning and took care of all the passengers.

They had after packages too, I wondered if they were doing this at DL.
