What are we going to do with these pretty in pink, champagne girls that don't care where they throw the balls anywhere in Aruba?:cheer2: Sorry mom's that let there kids read!

I've tried to read through all the posts  but I think somehow I got left off the Champagne Girl's list? :confused3
Please, please,please...can I join too:flower3:
I know I admitted I don't actually drink champagne...but I'll practice...I promise;)

Welcome! I don't drink champagne either.....but we can be honorary members! Actually, I plan on trying champagne just for the occasion of hanging out with all us wonderful, beautiful, vivacious women! :grouphug: Now.....to add that logo to my signature.

Katy when will you be there in October? I will be there the 20th-26th.
I'm actually booked from Oct20-Nov 6 but will definately not be staying that long LOL. I am trying to find fairly decent airfare and am hoping for an AP discount. I have two different ressies right now, Oct20-30 is at CSR and I am hoping to keep this one. It would be great if we could meet up this trip!Where are you staying? Have you booked airfare yet?

My daughter had to watch the 5th grade health video today. She said it was nothing she did not already know. Unfortunately she is mature for her age. So I started probing about what they said on the video and she said the girls started gigiling when they were talking about personal hygiene. My poor DD I feel so bad sometimes that she has to go through everything that us women do but it makes her funny sometimes.

OH NO! :scared1: I was traumatized by that video in 4th grade. 1979. I had no idea what they were talking about and was so grossed out. At the same time, they handed out a mint green booklet to the girls and I think the one for the boys was yellow. The funniest part to me was a page that talked about easing cramps. It said to get a long board, prop one end up on the footboard of your bed, then lay the rest on the bed and lie on top of it, head pointed down, so you're lying at about a 30 degree angle, tilted down towards your head. Being tilted in that direction was supposed to ease cramps. Um....yeah.....Hey mom? Can you go to the lumber store and get a board for me, because I have cramps?! :rotfl2:

You know what is funny our mom's probably would have fainted if we said the word cramps. I guess that's why they moved it to 5th grade. The boys did not even have theirs yet she said they were giggling at the word puberty. I feel like giggling (with some champagne).

Too funny! When we had that, the boys and girls had it the same day in separate rooms. I remember the girls being sort of stunned and the boys giggling afterwards. :rotfl2:

Holly,
I don't know what to do anymore. She is just in between when it comes to teen and kid but tween is kind of a weird term. She has breast and a period but loves dolls. I don't know it drives me nuts. She is lovable some days but a monster and emotional others. We went regular bra shopping the other day and she was so mad because I told her dad what we were doing. OOPS! I forgot you tell dad nothing. Just give us the plastic and don't ask questions. See I trained her right.:rotfl:

What was I thinking letting her wear that shirt? This was last year so you can only imagine now!

Kathe, you're on the list....you just joined after the last update....I'm waiting until I get some more to do another update. I have you on the list as one of 12 tasters. If you want to be included, but not sample the champagne, then I can add you as an honorary member. Let me know if you want to sample champagne or not, either way you're on the list.:hippie:

Deb, you're a powerhouse! No grass grows under this girl's feet!:thumbsup2 I think I might have a pair of wings in one of my costume boxes somewhere. If not, I'm sure I can obtain a pair (maybe after-Halloween 1/2 price sale '07). Now all that's left is the Tink dress. It'll be tight, I hate working under such a deadline, but I can hopefully figure something out in the next 13 months!:rotfl:

As far as a persona for mascot #2, I bet the fertile minds of this creative group will come up with something good! What say ye????

Oh, dear. I told DH I was going to be a mascot and he said 'No Way!!!!'. He wants to tell you all how much champagne I used to drink when we met a very lonnnnnngggg time ago. I told him I didn't think I could keep up anymore and he said he's going to be my personal trainer. He wants to see me as a 'Pink Champagne Girl'. Such a conundrum :rolleyes1
