We need to start a new list!

The DH and DW's that never post and get drug along for the ride.:rotfl:

My DH thought I was crazy before our first cruise but then he saw I had it all under control (some what) and knew what was going on. I even heard him telling his brother how much I knew before we left and if he needed any advice before his cruise to ask me.:lmao: He still will not get on board with us. I don't know if he secretly reads.:scared1: More power to him if he does.:surfweb:

I keep asking the chicken (DH, Paul) to join us but nope :confused3 he keeps saying it's too early to get invovled. Of course he'll be right there with the rest of us once we board. Maybe he'll say hi in the month or so before we cruise. I figure he buys the souveniers I'll make the plans.....

You know what is funny is that they will all end up having so much in common that they will kick themselves.

All I have to say is A.I. sucked the big panties that John is going to have to bring me. I liked maybe two of of them. I liked Gwen Stephani when she was with No Doubt but to have her as a helper?:confused3 That's like having Brittany Spears help out. :rotfl:

didn't see any good green sale ts....
i'm off for the night.
nite nite

I am fading fast myself!

Not the party-er I used to be.:rotfl:

Good morning everybody! After seeing that Tyler still feels yucky today, it's another day at home for us. Fortunately, I was able to just leave a message with our office manager about not coming in, rather than having to talk to her, so I didn't have to hear how angry she must be. Yesterday there were only 2 secretaries (for 8 attorneys) instead of our usual 4, so I'm sure things are quite backed up today for the other 3. I do feel bad for them because the attorneys get quite frustrated when they can't have things done immediately. Oh well.....nothing I can do about it.

Have a great day everybody! We're off to the doctor to see about something for his little cough. Poor kid needs some relief so he can get some uninterrupted sleep.

Holly,

Hope he feel's better soon! I hate nagging coughs too, they really keep me up at night!

I love the group and logo. I would love to join the Champagne Girls. I don't drink but maybe I can bring some non-alcoholic bubbly stuff for us that can't handle the other. What do you guys think? I was going to ask Karen about any good non-alcoholic wine but I keep forgetting when she is on.

Lori,

I am a day behind so this was probably already addressed by Noel, (she is the QUEEN of info!!);)

To me non-alcoholic wine is an oxymoron. It is almost better to go with a sparkling cider of some kind.

Do you have an allergy to alcoholic beverages or is it for another reason? (You don't have to explain why...):confused3

If there is just a reaction to higher alcohol content, you may want to try the Banfi Rose Regale that we have spoken about before on the DIS. It is only 8% Alcohol, roughly half of most other wines and champagnes, and is very tasty!!
:thumbsup2

We will definitely have some of the Banfi at the Champagne tasting, and bringing some sparkling cider in might be a good idea!:goodvibes

Karen:

I didn't comment on the non alcoholic beverages but do tend to agree with you. I would just suggest Martinelli's for the sparkling cider if someone does not drink wine or champagne. We have several people in my family who drink only Martinelli's during dinner or holidays.

Since I'm partial to Tink, how about Sassy Bubbles...sounds like our group. What does everyone think?:confused3

Deb,

Just catching up as I am WAY behind...

But how about Tink in pink in a champagne glass or flute?

Someone probably already came up with this, but I am only on page 744 our of 754ish!!

That's a great idea if Cheri likes it. We could use your image as her Original Mascot logo and she could dress like tink in pink. I like it!:thumbsup2

Cheri, what do you think?:confused3

Good night to all who are still awake and good morning to all the UK friends who will be on the boards.

See you in the AM.

Noel

Noel, can you find us an image of a pink tinkerbell? Cheri would probably like it except for the blonde ponytail on tink. That's okay, she can wear her own hair and just do the costume.:goodvibes :cutie:

:offtopic: Sorry, just have to share a story. Just got Tyler to bed and as I was leaving I reminded him that he'll hear thunder tonight and not to be worried about it. Of course, he told me he doesn't like that, it scares him, etc. Told me he wants me to make sure he doesn't hear it. I told him I can't do that because I can't change the weather. He asked, "Well, who can? The weatherman?" Nope. He asked, "God can, right?" I told him, "Yes, but he's not going to tonight because spring is the time for lots of rain because trees and grass and everything need lots of water to turn green again. We don't want the trees to stay naked....they need to grow leaves!" He laughed about that. I told him when he hears thunder, just remember it can't hurt us because it's just a noise. I told him it's just those crazy clouds bumping into each other. They're running around like crazy, trying to sprinkle rain everywhere it needs to go, and just not watching where they're going, so they crash into each other all the time. And those long rolls of thunder are just the clouds grumbling at each other sort of like they're saying, "Hey, would you watch where you're going? Quit bumping into me!" He just kept laughing harder and harder as I went along and all fear seemed to be gone. As I left his room, he said, "Mom, I'll remember to laugh at those silly clouds when I hear thunder." Phew! Now lets hope it works!

So I came into the living room and drew a picture on his easel of 2 clouds that just crashed and they have silly expressions on their faces, so hopefully he'll see it in the morning and laugh more!

This age is so fun! The silly things that make kids laugh! I do whatever I can to hear that great giggle!

And now......back to the champagne discussion!

Holly,

You are SUCH a GOOD MOM!!! :cheer2:

I loved the visual that you gave and the assurance that Tyler must feel! My DD, Alex, and I love thunder and we will wake each other up so that we can listen and watch the lightning!

Typical of northern Californians as we just don't get Thunder and Lightning very often!! Always reminds me of my mom, she and I would do the same thing!
