ewwww gross, no fittings for me.....I'll bring my own unmentionables rather than have to have a fitting...:lmao: :lmao: :lmao:
I don't know......could be fun! Hey, we all need a little excitement in our lives, don't we?! :rotfl2: Or should I say entertainment? :lmao:

crap, we have to stop, Paul will be here soon wondering why I'm laughing at the Dateline report on credit fraud....

Well, I need to stop...I vote for you to continue laughing, more therapeutic than watching a report on credit fraud.

'night, all!

Carolyn

I'm so glad Annie is home!!! Those poor kids...to plan a trip and have no control over how their bodies are behaving.

It sounds like her school had a very good run with no sickness, but it's surprising to me that when 2 of the 4 chaperones were unable to travel that they didn't then scout out replacements. I'd guess a parent or two would have volunteered. To leave the kids at a hotel with a total stranger as a chaperone??

Good luck with the letter...if you want to share, I'd like to read it.

Carolyn

I know you will not believe this....but this is a NO PARENT ALLOWED TRIP.

I did this trip 5 years ago (with now DS17), the only year they allowed parents. We had 3 teachers and 8 parents for 30 kids. After that, no parents.

Stop! I'm laughing out loud and he's waiting for his computer...I really need to relinquish control here. Geez, now it's, "Honey, one of my Johns is bringing my underwear!"

Carolyn
I can hardly catch my breath after that one!!!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Come on folks, I'm really trying to get to bed! Stop! Please! :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: Can't take any more!

(No, please, DON'T stop!!!! :rotfl2: )

Good night guys.

Epcot opens tomorrow morning at 9:00, and we plan on riding 'Soarin at LEAST a few times tomorrow.

Have a great day everyone!

Personally aftger this fiasco, I think parents should go to the school board and get them to rethink the NO PARENT policy.

Just my thoughts...

I must admit this is the reason I vow to stay the GS troop leader. We leaders agree it's hard with parents around, but I'm not sending Miss Molly off with anyone but her mama....over protective and OCD that's me.:lmao:

next year Molly has a one week camp trip no parents with school. Just not sure that I'm okay with it yet....I'll figure somehow to weazle my way in...even to bring starbucks to the teachers each morning 30 minutes away, better than the paranoid feelings I'd have if she was away...:scared:

Funny you should say that. One of the parents with a sick child flew down yesterday and took her to the doctor. The doctor told her it was a virus....that she could continue with the trip. The mom flew home (I think against her better judgement) and left her daughter.

She already called the school board today and went round and round with them about the NO PARENT Rule. How could you not want parents??

Is she going to Redwood Glen?

That's got to be the craziest policy I've ever heard of. I'm sure if enough parents speak up and keep pushing, they'll rethink the no parent rule. Just doesn't make sense. :sad2:

Sounds like she is a parent who you should be getting together with to change this trip!!

I wish Annie had only been 30 minutes away.....that would be much better than DC to Tampa!!

Find out the policy on sick kids. From what I hear tonight the plan is to take 6 sick kids to all day at Discovery Cove tomorrow. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1:
