Hmmmmm....cute, but doesn't really go with "Sassy Bubbles"...

She is going to be surprised when she reads all these posts about it!!!

Wish I could be a fly on that wall!:rotfl:  :rotfl:

:butterfly How about a BUTTERFLY on the wall?????

Personally, I like Sassy Bubbles for the mascot's name, whatever it turns out to be.[/COLOR]

I think your name is going to be 'sassy bubbles' ... do you like it? If so, whatever you want to wear is ok with us...but please make it pink!:cutie:

DONE!

I guess I should be a mascot. I LOVE champagne but.....more than 1 glass with do me in.

Welcome aboard!!!

I'm starting to stress...I've only got 13 months to figure out my mascot outfit!!!:scared1:

John, Want to make a friendly bet on the Georgetown/OSU game? Although I am a HOKIE! (VA Tech...in case I haven't made that clear :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: ) I have helped raise one of my nephews. His mom and dad (my brother) live in SC and Drew has been at Georgetown for 4 years....he has lived with us most summers to stay and DC. I move him in and out of his dorms each year. He is going to the Disney Med with us this summer!!

So I am a Georgetown fan!!

How about a Speciality Coffee.......

Very strange events around this 11k.....I guess I just don't get it??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

You're ON! But I want a chocolate smoothie!

As to 11k - silly - time to move on. Angie, I wonder if Jordan knows what he started and how it has grown?

Guys, you are killing me - 12 pages to catch up on since last night????

Well guys, the true Geek in me won out tonight . . . .

I am paying for internet service in the room at Beach club Villas, and since I brought along my Airport Express, I can connect wirelessly just like at home after I hooked up my own little mini-network here.

I know . . . Hopeless.

:surfweb: It sounds good to me!!

Ahem...if I could only LOOK like that, then I'd wear it gladly...but alas, I would not look like that........:scared1:

I think with wine tastings, champagne tastings, martini tastings, DOD club, wine at meals, art auctions, Castaway Club reception, etc, many folk are going to be sozzled the whole trip!:drinking: :drinking1
Sozzled....we'll be, love that word! :drinking:

Totally not on any topic, just sharing...

DD just put a sign up in here: Come to Layla's Kabob Shop
Way cute Carolyn!!! What a sweetie!

Had to look. Found a recipe for Pink Panty Droppers:
18 cans beer
1 bottle Everclear® alcohol
1 bottle tequila
1 1/2 jugs, pre-made pink lemonade
Ouch...the thought of Everclear makes me sick. Last experience was in college at a Frat party.....ouch, ouch, ouch!

Well, my DH has my daughter and now one of her friends as well. The flight takes off from Tampa at 6:15pm (about 6 minutes) and they are on board!!

Today, a total of 8 students are sick (out of 40).....Annie and Laura are the first to leave.

I bought trip insurance on this trip. The trip was $2,000 and the insurance was $159. I am on the phone now with Worldstrides and they say the insurance only covers injury not illness. This really makes me mad.
Glad to hear Dad has her, but the insurance thing is awful! What a waste of money!!! Sorry to hear about that! :sad2:

You are just the best mom. :cheer2: I read your posts and they just make me smile. You have so much patience. I'm more like "It's fine..now go to sleep."
Holly, you ARE a great mom!

Okay - will give this a whirl. Not very good at trip reports.
Thanks for the report...bottom line is, it sounds like a lot of extra money here and there!!!!

Please help me guys.

DD13 is still sick in FL on field trip. Teachers do not wnat me to come get her??:confused3 :confused3 :confused3

She can't talk, she can't sleep.....says she doesn't want to come home. No teacher has called me.....they haven't taken her temp....

I want to get on a flight NOW and go get her.

Do I just go?

I can't remember . . . is she at WDW? If so, do you want me to go with our thermometer (we also have a supply of antibiotic). I am not kidding. Amy or I will go if she is nearby. Of course she will wonder who the heck are these people???

It's interesting to read about the differences. Non-Disney cruises are so much cheaper--at least to start! I don't think I'd like having to pay for this and that every time I turned around. I also wondered about the "freestyle dining" thing, as far as having to wait in line. That doesn't appeal to me. I'm glad you had a good time, for the most part. Thanks for taking the time to write. :goodvibes

I am keeping my fingers crossed we make it through on Saturday...our game is at 8:57pm! I am anxious as well to hear Billy's decision regarding coaching!

Why do I always miss the juicy stuff?

Yes, and no I did not break out the OSU voo doo candle although the OSU magnet was upside down in the Gator's mouth....does that count for anything?

They are definitely using their size!!

I thought you were always a part of the juicy stuff!

Turn that magnet AROUND!

Using their "size"??? :rotfl2:

My youngest DD is cruising with 40 of her college friends and one parent on Sunday April 1 on the Carnival Pride. I would not want to be the one over 25 person in charge of 40 21+ college students. She is already complaining about how much things cost on the cruise as this is the first cruise she where she has paid. Tips are great as long as she is not paying!! She just can not believe all the hidden costs!!

:surfweb:

Welcome to the adult world!!!:rotfl2:

Well I would, but all the sweeteners don't agree with me!!! :sad2: Leaves more for you though!!!:rotfl:

I'm hoping for a proper coffee or two, then it's water, green tea and peppermint tea!!!

Wow, I do sound healthy don't I?:lmao: Wait till you see the desserts I will eat! Oh, and the choc chip cookies, cheese plates, Mickey Ice cream bars, Ice cream from the ice cream station, etc, etc, etc.!:dance3:

I'm with you on the water and teas - saving calories for the 2 desserts I plan to have at dinner everynight!

We are having the weirdest weather today. It started out sunny then it got really cold and all of a sudden it hailed. Now it is windy and rainy with a little more sun.:confused3

We drove home in a downpour with a ton of sunshine! Plus high winds.

A little bit of sassy can be a good thing! Sure lifts my spirits! :goodvibes

Here is my little bit of Sassy

100_2081.jpg

She's 14 years old.

Had to look. Found a recipe for Pink Panty Droppers:

18 cans beer
1 bottle Everclear® alcohol
1 bottle tequila
1 1/2 jugs, pre-made pink lemonade

First add all 18 cans of beer to a large container. Add bottles of Everclear and tequila and last but not least add the pink lemonade. Place lemon slices in the mixture for extra flavor. Let sit for a few hours, then serve.

**I think I'd need to worry more about passing out than dropping panties after drinking this. Is this how you make it Kaylee? I, also, saw it with vodka rather than Everclear...

Carolyn

Sounds like stuff we use to make in a trash can at college. It really tasted like kool-aid (whatever flavor we used). And after one it didn't matter what it tasted like...

Don't want the other 2 to feel left out so here is a picture of the 2 of them:

100_1391.jpg

Jasper is on the left - he's 5 and weighs 14 1/2 pounds.

Sweetie is on the right - She's 6 and weighs 9 pounds.

She was in the cubbie first but she likes to hold her ground when he tries to squeeze her out.

I loved my Carnival Liberty cruise this past January, but I didn't think it was any cheaper than Disney after adding the extras. Paying for pop, I could deal with....I just bought a couple 2 Liters at our first port and kept them in the fridge in my room, and alcohol drinks were about the same price, but what really got me was having to pay for cookies when I was used to getting those free chocolate chip cookies on DCL! :scared1:

:rotfl: Think he can bedazzle that?! :lmao:

Your wish is my command!

I'm looking right now on Ebay for that 100lbs of underwear you guys were talking about. I figure that is one pair for every woman on board!

:offtopic: Sorry, just have to share a story. Just got Tyler to bed and as I was leaving I reminded him that he'll hear thunder tonight and not to be worried about it. Of course, he told me he doesn't like that, it scares him, etc. Told me he wants me to make sure he doesn't hear it. I told him I can't do that because I can't change the weather. He asked, "Well, who can? The weatherman?" Nope. He asked, "God can, right?" I told him, "Yes, but he's not going to tonight because spring is the time for lots of rain because trees and grass and everything need lots of water to turn green again. We don't want the trees to stay naked....they need to grow leaves!" He laughed about that. I told him when he hears thunder, just remember it can't hurt us because it's just a noise. I told him it's just those crazy clouds bumping into each other. They're running around like crazy, trying to sprinkle rain everywhere it needs to go, and just not watching where they're going, so they crash into each other all the time. And those long rolls of thunder are just the clouds grumbling at each other sort of like they're saying, "Hey, would you watch where you're going? Quit bumping into me!" He just kept laughing harder and harder as I went along and all fear seemed to be gone. As I left his room, he said, "Mom, I'll remember to laugh at those silly clouds when I hear thunder." Phew! Now lets hope it works!

So I came into the living room and drew a picture on his easel of 2 clouds that just crashed and they have silly expressions on their faces, so hopefully he'll see it in the morning and laugh more!

This age is so fun! The silly things that make kids laugh! I do whatever I can to hear that great giggle!

And now......back to the champagne discussion!

Oh, Holly, how cute!!:) My kids giggle at any conversation with the word naked in it, too.
