and we will be doing the "meek and mighty" St Anthony's triathalon over in St Pete next month.
Sounds very energetic, even with the 'meek' in the title.

good as far as laundry goes!! It was really behind or we would have spent the day outside!!
I do hope to come to England soon --- I would like to bring my mom, grandma, the girls, DH and of course my horrible sister. I would like to see everything...my Grandma's father was in the Navy and they he had a fish shop where they lived upstairs afterwards.
We tried to plan this when I had my first DD, and both my mom and grandma are worried about being able to return as they are not US citizens...

Our "race" is very close to the Don Cesar....if you are over here again I do suggest coming our way as far as beaches go. Siesta, aside from the Caribbean and exotic isles...is really stunning and not so much "beer can island" of Florida, which happens a lot at Daytona, Clearwater, all the well known party beaches...and hey, I am guilty of participating too!
You would love England, and Wales, Scotland and Ireland if you could get there. We are all so diverse in such a small nation, and the countryside changes dramatically. If you like history of course, we ae full of that!
And the knees!!!it's really a nice "intro" a mile run. 6 or so bike and a bit of a swim....if it gets me off my duff for the day??? --- all is good!!
My father is big into racing, he does Ironman races and tries his hardest to get us involved. DH ran track in college, so he enjoys the running aspect but I went to a performing arts high school for dance and have drilled into my brain how horrid running is for your achilles tendons!!!
We may just visit! I wouldn't bother with St. Pete's again, apart form the nostalgic element, and certainly wouldn't go all the way up to Clearwater. I would like to get along to Busch gardens again though.
I can't wait, and I know we will definitely need a WHOLE lot of time over there. What is the flight time for you to get to the US?
The thing is, I am not sure what sort of travel accomodations are best...everyone keeps telling me just bed and breakfast it and don't make prior reservations but I am positive we need to.
That is so cool!!! And what a small world! After we got here, about 5:00, Sophia and I were going in the gate to the pool, and the couple ahead of us looked at us and said "Aren't you on the WB Repo cruise??"![]()
Now what kind of coincindence is that?
Got to meet Tiggerhappy and her husband who are down here to catch some baseball Spring training. I am terrible, and would have never recognized someone from pictures!
Just got back from the gym. MAJOR workout again. I'm on a roll (working to get rid of my rolls)!![]()
That would be it for me...one hour, in the dark, on MS. We opted not to take that ride but what most people don't know is since HP had a lot to do with the making of MS, they have a special lounge for HP employees...there's a secret entrance near the entrance to MS, you have to show your employee ID. Once upstairs it's a cool, comfy area with lots of couches and internet access. The have tinted windows where you can look down at the people in line for MS and they offer refreshements and snack items (which was awesome given we were there in hot, humid JUNE!!!). They have two phone booth looking areas where you go in and can record a video that makes it look like you're on the moon or in space (depending on what background you pick) and you can email the video to friends back home. They also have TV monitors where you can watch people taking off and arriving back from the ride. It's funny to see what people look like upon their return...some look excited and others look plain sick!!! Anyway, that's a little known secret that many people are unaware of....Our friends went on MS for the first time on a trip with us. My family didn't want to go on (only DH has been on it before and he said once was enough, which to me means, I would not enjoy it). About an hour later (the wait was 10 minutes) we were searching for them in the ride exit area and still could not find them. Another 30 min went by and we saw some woman on a walkie talkie telling the other person to breathe! She heard us trying to find our friends and told us that the ride had broken down...her DH was stuck on it. Our friends were not in his capsule, but that explained where they were. I think they ended up being stuck in the capsule in the dark for over an hour and then about 20 minutes with the lights on before they were able to be removed. By the time they got off, both parents were pretty white (and ready for a DOD!)and the kids were just chatty kathy's talking about how cool that was! Their "gift" for experiencing that...fast passes to go back on MS...which they quickly gave away

Really St Pete is not that much of a beach, as far as beaches go. And Clearwater, is FUN for the party aspect, it also isn't that much of a beach. Yes, they both were when I was 18-??
Siesta is a great family area...calm, gorgeous and world known for it's crystal white sand. And even Venice and surrounding areas are great. Worth the 1-1 1/2 drive from WDW.
and ---- this is all just MY opinion!!![]()
yes and no....we could walk there every evening...do we? Nope..but now that the weather is nice I hope to walk the beach a lot more!

Just watched Gary Sinese on CSI New York. Would like to see him narrate the Candlelight Processional.
