Dang that laundry attitude is as contageous as that DISease we all seem to have!!!! Mine is still mocking me from last weekend after my Solvang trip...of course I am still going shoe shopping and to the movies...I can do laundry tonight, I mean that is what Saturday night is for right???? Once again, I know you are all jealous of the non stop excitement of my life, so I make sure you get the gory details so you can live vicariously through me....make sure you are in bed when you start this so when boredom sets in you can just call asleep where you lay...

We have a shop in town that sells handbags, unusual cheap jewellery and some strange clothing, some gothic and creepy. Anyway they have a few piratey items - well should I say themed really. Thick black tights(pantyhose), or they could be leggings(do you call them that , or footless pantyhose?!!), with skull and crossbones all over, and a black and red striped top and scarf. I am going to go in and have a nosey, though I doubt you will see me in skull and crossbone leggings. They probably have loads of piratey jewellery and may have belts too.

Is it still 2 months till our Disneyland DIS meet? Man, I am so ready to go NOW! However, I could put the time to good use by taking some walks...I've been sooooo gimpy lately and need to build up some stamina for strolling the parks (my commando days are done).

OK....signing off the DIS now....will do some household puttering...later kids!

Good morning boys and girls! Quite night last night....did everyone go out and play? We did girls night out...movie and dinner. We saw the Don Cheadle (sp???) Adam Sandler movie and it was quite good (Peg needed a tissue). Had Chinese after (had too, that's all Adam Sandler's character ate during the movie).

Well, it's another Saturday morning and the burning question is....WILL I do some housework today???? Willl I get my stuff together for my taxes??? Will I at least find the top of my desk and craft table??? We'll see

Sports talk: I'm pretty much not following any sports right now. But I was a big Phoenix Suns fan/watcher back in the days of Charles Barkley and THUNDER Dan Marley. Basketball is my favorite sport to watch in person...always exciting, but if you have to miss a bit (fetching beer, running to the restroom) it usually comes down to the last few minutes of play anyway. The only way I'll drag myself to a baseball game is if it's in the SUITE (air conditioning, private bath, comfy chairs)!

I hope someone can respond regarding the Atlantis day pass question, Peg really wants to go there in December. Me...I'm not getting off the ship, becasue a 3 day is TOO SHORT already. I will knock about Castaway Cay however

I need to find out about day passes to Atlantis. For my halloween trip, we bringing the WHOLE family of seven. I'm booking a room, hopefully a suite, at the Royal Towers. That gives me access to the property for four. I need access for three more. I've heard about day passes, but don't know anything about them. Karen suggested that maybe PJ or Noel might be able to help me. PJ, Noel, can you help???

We're in! Just wonder what it would cost? Do you dare want to see? my family of 4 to SJ, your family of 6 Woodside, and I bet we'd get Noel and John to join us!!! (ok, maybe not with all our kids!) Better yet, maybe we can sneak Noel and John on and then we (you, me & our DHs) ditch them and we'll fly home okay that really made me laugh....just kidding Noel I wouldn't think of dumping my kids on you...

As for movies-went to see Shooter last night. It was good, but VIOLENT. Let's put it this way, after see ing Marky Mark's last two movies, whenever Ithink of him I'll think HEADSHOT (and I don't mena the photo kind). but on the plus side, you get to stare at Mark Whalberg for 2+hours. yum yum. and you get his third nipple...

We have some friends who do the trans Tahoe relay which is one of Olympic Club's events. Seems to me we did some charitable golf event of theirs also.

Seriously, I haven't a clue this far ahead what we are going to do after the cruise. I have actually taken my GK's on the train to San Jose but had to get a sleeper so we could all relax. I think we will probably just fly home. DH will need to get back to work but I may stay on a few days.

ok, so I have to post my experience of yesterday at the post office that made me think of you, Lisa.

We went to get Paul and Wilson renewals on their passports (ya never know when momma decided to go to Mexico for spring break, in three weeks I add) and we are sitting there and in walks a mom with a little guy, who plops down next to Wil and they start chatting over Wil's ninetendo. The mom is tending to the littler guy in the stroller..shortly the dad walks in with yes 2 more boys. I nudge Paul "I think that's calmom from the DIS" he says "ask her" I'm like (valley girl, yes I came from the land of the '80s) "no way, if she isn't she will think I'm nuts" "and if she is then I'll ask her tonight on the board and we'll crack up" so it wasn't since you were in San Deigo (thank heavens I didn't accost her) I must now go to the ship o website and study the family photos....she did have brown hair, which I thought you did too, right?

They used to show reruns on abc.com. I don't know if they are still doing it but I will check it out. Yes I checked so those that do not have TIVO or did not tape it it is on-line.

Have any California people looked into getting a limo or town car to take them home after the cruise?

I don't really want to ask friends to pick us up after the cruise and thought a limo might be a nice way to get home.

We aren't sure how we are getting back to San Diego yet. Thinking shuttle or something but haven't checked into anything yet.

I dont think we will be able to do any time before the cruise just the day before. I am thinking we will fly out on either AA or Delta on Friday.

We are planning to fly out late night Thursday (hopefully on Frontier) so we can drive to the port Friday monring and rest up for Saturday.

OK....I'll 'fess up. I'm not against all sports. I'm clueless about all, except hockey. It's the only sport I will watch and used to travel to different NHL stadiums for games because I plan on being able to say some day that I've been to all of them! My favorite was Toronto because I also visited the Hockey Hall of Fame when I was there. That's somewhere I definitely want to go again. I think Tyler would love it because he says he wants to play hockey. We play street hockey (but in the driveway) all the time.

Love hockey - grew up ourside Phila so Flyers are still my team (even though they really bad this year). We've only made it to 4 stadiums so far - 5 if you count the old and new Flyers stadiums. The others are Edmonton, Calgary, and St Louis (their old one).
