PJ - I hope they have the whole pin thing fixed before we sail! That would be a nightmare!

John - glad to hear your dad is doing better....and unless I am making up my own theme nights, I thought there was a 60's night?

Love seeing everyone's pictures! We are a great looking bunch!!!

Well the Indians lost yesterday...but we had front row 3rd base side seats and they were great....got there a bit early and what a day...the weather was gorgeous, the field was filled with ball players stretching, warming up, etc....hot dog, a beer and Johnny to myself...what could be better?

Then John's team won last night. He hit a homer to win it, so he was pretty pleased with himself. Better on his knee too...

Wednesday...that much closer to Friday I guess. My sister turns 22 today...we are not going to dinner with her...she is a half an hour away and my friends from last year might remember you may need a raincoat to eat with her if she drinks in excess.

Not yet Cheri, we're still on standby :hourglass ...will let you know when the booty is back! :rolleyes1

You said "booty"! :rotfl2: Hmmmm.....isn't that where it will come from?! :rotfl2: (Sorry....that's what happens when you live alone with a 4-yr old boy.)

LOL .... Rolling on he Floor .... It's SOOOO FUNNY because it's true! :lmao: :lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Oh my gosh! Wish me luck on keeping my sanity today. My old boss just walked from his office, all the way across the building to my cubicle, asked me to come to his office. (Note: usually he calls me to ask me that...maybe he forgot how.) I follow him back to his office and when I get there, he asked me if I did a particular thing yesterday I was supposed to do. "Yes sir. I sure did." He says, "OK...That's all I have for now."  :confused3

CALGON, TAKE ME AWAY! (Or should I say: Alejandro, take me away!) :rotfl2:

For You....Alejandro.....For Me, I always say, Mickey take me away....

I am on this cruise with you guys but I don't think I am ever going to catfch up with everything that is going on - 400+ days out and already at 681 pages ---- is that some kind of record LOL

I can only imagine the roll call - is every cabin represented? LOL

WELCOME! Just jump in whenever you can, don't worry about catching up (unless you want to, of course). I'm figuring next Feb, after final payment date, new folks are going to show up and we'll need to do some 're-introducing ourselves' posts and lots of recaps of activities etc.

DH and I at DL this past christmas. I hope this works. This is my first attempt at posting a pic.

What a great picture! Looks like you two are having a great time and are going to be FUN to get to know. ::yes::

OK...thought I could get alll caught up, but have to bail for now...have to head into the office early for a special project...so I'm outta here!

P.S. Holly, got your PM, the CROCS are yours!

So sorry to hear that DS doesn't like figment. I guess a purple dragon could scare a five year old. How does he feel about him now that he's nine? DH loves dragons and his favorite color is purple....and what could be better than imagination!
:cutie:

He hated the whole ride actually. Didn't like things popping out at him or the smells. Whatever. :rotfl: It became our family joke, and now every time he sees anything with Figment, he goofs around faking being scared, etc. It was just such a funny thing to be frightened of. Pirates of the Caribbean...no problem. Figment?....watch out!:rotfl:

We discovered on our last trip to WDW that DS6 (only 5 at the time) is the thrill seeker in the family. He was finally tall enough for most of the major rides and loved every one of them. DS9 is still, shall we say, "cautious."

BEAUTIFUL PICTURE...you look like you had a great day! :cool2:

Yup, I sure am, aren't I? :rotfl: Oh! You said the picture! :rotfl2: But seriously, I just wanted to post my smiling face at my most favorite cruise port! That was in January. Wish I were there now. Will be in November! Can't wait!

We're ALL going to be fun to get to know! And we'll all have fun doing it! :goodvibes Can't wait!

WOOHOO!!!!! PMd you back. :dancer: Thank you! A specialty coffee on me, at Cove Cafe, will be yours too! :woohoo:

Well, somehow I always pick the most unpopular times to be on line....so here I sit chatting with myself (Holly & Deb...I guess it is contagious!:lmao: ). I am off to watch The Holiday :happytv: with DH.

I thought the movie The Holiday was so much fun! I just loved Jude Law in it. Did you like it?? Lisa

We were at a great winemaker dinner tonight at one of our Benicia restaurants. It was with Sausal Winery, one of the oldest wineries with some of the oldest vineyards in the state.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Excellent dinner! Really good pairings!! Very full now, however!! ;)

Karen

Karen,
Have you ever gone to the Meals on Wheels charity event in SF? Noel - you might like it too. It is a great wine event - they have the best wines pared with the best food. The chef from French Laundry will be there this year (website for the 2006 event - http://mowsf.org/events_postgala2006.htm )
It is on May 20, Sunday.

Lisa

Ugh, the boards crashed on me as I was about to catch up last night.

I think we're just heading back to NY after the cruise. Like John said, I'd love to do a couple of days in DL, but on the holiday weekend like that it's probably not the best idea.

OMG, teething baby is making me NUTS today!!!

...I have one of those, but only the four legged kind. When she's really biting a lot, I give her an ice cube. It keeps her busy for a long while...she plays with it, licks it and bites it....stops her from biting me and things she not allowed to bite around the house. I'm not sure that's going to help you though. :confused3

hmm, after the cruise...well we really can't stay too much longer after taking off the two weeks. We hoped to fly out late Tuesday and try to hit DL and CA, though with it being a holiday weekend I am not so sure. I would love to travel to various vineyards though....have to save that for another trip!
