Holly,

Sounds strange. Alex gets like this when she is upset, or over tired, not necessarily sick. Did something happen at school or Day Care?

Karen
That was the first thing I asked at day care this morning. Nobody could think of anything. And of course he tells me nothing different happened. :confused3 But it was so odd to see a 4 year old so melancholy. I've tried telling him that if something is bothering him, he can tell me or his dad, no matter what, so that I can try to help him, and so far, he's ended up telling me a couple days after something bothered him (possibly after taking time to mull it over in his head), so if something did happen, he'll probably disclose soon. Poor kid. I do know that one of his good friends at day care had a birthday party and didn't invite him (because the parents just did a family party), and another boy was supposed to have a party this month, so maybe he's afraid he missed that one too. I'll ask him about that.

Having to prop open my eyes with matchsticks now....only 15 minutes then I shall wave Becky off to Latvia/Berlin and can sleep!:)
I hope Becky has a wonderful time, despite it not being the experience she'd hoped and planned for. And you get some sleep! :goodvibes

Libby Lu is a pink tween (actually younger in my mind) store where they, girls, can go and rock out and have a mini make over. There is one in DTDisney in CA.

Wow! I see! Pretty cool, but I have to say, I'm glad Tyler's a boy. I think I'll enjoy his upcoming camoflage themed birthday party much more. BUT I do like the Pooch Parlor...cute!

Well, I can't keep my eyes open any longer. Too tired to even watch Lost, so will tape it and watch later. Karen, have fun chatting when you get back from sushi! Say hello to UK Angel and GranMaz when they wake up in the morning.

Hey, what happened to Julie (Mexican Mouseketeers)?

Goodnight everybody!

YES HE DID SNAG ONE! WHICH WE WILL NOT DELETE. But if you look correctly ours is still better than yours.:rotfl: All I have to say is let the games begin. Fair is Fair. No hard feelings from this winch.:goodvibes :lmao:

So what are you going to lift with that winch?

:offtopic:

EWWWW

Ok guys, my DH just emailed me the most funny/horrible picture and the title is "how to get banned from Disneyland".

If anyone wants to see it, PM me and I will forward it to you. It's too nasty to post on our lovely DIS board!!

Karen

Already have it. A friend emailed it to me. I emailed it to some of the geeks, but they know me, so I knew they would take it OK (hope so anyway). If you get to see the picture, just know that it took me several glances to figure out what the problem was . . . that's all I'll say right now. Other than I just thought they were cute sweaters!

What does that say for me?:sad1:

anyone else a court tv or forensic files freak?

I love these shows...in HS I was really into reading about serial killers....I lived with my Grandparents for most of my life and they moved to SA when I was in high school and my mom freaked when I checked out biographies of serial killers.

Hey - that's the one we got for Christmas too! We are really enjoying the HD channels. Problem is we have Directtv so local channels are not in HD.

We are off in a few hours to board our plane to Houston. Our Princess cruise leaves on Saturday out of Galveston. Nervous, never been on a cruiseline other than Disney. Will see how it goes. How can it still not be fun though?! It's a vacation in the Caribbean afterall! Will share a report and photo's if anyone is interested upon our return.

Also scared to come back to a hundred pages to catch up on!

Please help us out and cheer on the Ducks in the Big Dance.

Go Ducks!

Have fun!

But I must say . . . GO BUCKEYES!

Hmmmm.....now I'm really curious! Off to PM Karen so she can e-mail it to me! ;) THEN I'm really going to sleep! Peering at computer through slits because it's too hard to keep my eyes open all the way. :guilty:

I knew what winch was....I was a dispatcher for University Towing in college....don't tell anyone who lived in Melrose Apts (YES they were really called that!!) If you didn't have a sticker a cup was placed by your car....I earned $30 for each one yolked!

The birthday party thing is HUGE with girls!! Talk about bummed out for days if they don't get invited!!:headache:

It definetly could fall under that catagory! I'm sure he'll be over it soon, kids are pretty resilient!;)

My oldest could care less about libby lu, but my 5 year old could go there every day for a makeover! It is a nice place for a party (NOT in my house) and for the cost, they get some pretty good goodies.

As Maz said, Coventry is in the Midlands near Birmingham, sadly not a particularly 'picturesque' part of England.

For a piece of useless trivia...those who have heard of the infamous 'Lady Godiva'(c. 990? – September 10, 1067) ...she was an Anglo-Saxon noblewoman who, according to legend, rode naked through the streets of Coventry in England in order to gain a remission of the oppressive toll imposed by her husband on his tenants. The name "peeping Tom" for a voyeur comes from later versions of this legend in which a man named Tom watched her ride and was struck blind.

So now maybe I Do want to visit this place? Do they do any re-enactments?

(Don't want to go blind though . . .)

Glad to have you back, we've missed you!!

English family here...

mom born in North Hampton
Grandma --- Coventry
Grandad --- North Hampton

I always though Grandad (or one of them) was born in London and never realized Grandma was born in Coventry....guess I don't know much about my family --(I just called mom to verify!)!! My mom and Gma have their green cards still.....

So V, do you take after dear old grandma then? Will you be taking any horserides soon? :3dglasses

Virginia

Noticing lots of us from the Pacific NW. Now, I know there is no way we outnumber the Cali group, but we shouldn't let them have all the fun with their meets, right?! :rotfl2:

Also, I have a general ?????.....since my dd (8.5) won't know about the cruise until December, will she still get a chance to know some of the other kids off this thread? You know, another OCD planner, worried that her dd won't get enough time to chat on-line with only 5 months left!!! Are there many 8/9 year olds chatting already???:confused3 Not that I would break my silence about the cruise just to allow her to chat :rotfl2: She is just a shy kiddo and I really want her to get a chance to know some kids before we set sail.
