Hope you had fun at least. Your description of him leaves a little bit to be desired! :confused3
I had fun talking with Cindy and her friend, but had absolutely no interest in talking with the guy. Got out of there quickly and back home to my warm fuzzy jammies! :goodvibes

And now.....I'm off to sleep! Goodnight everybody!

Enjoy Lost! I missed it, but will watch it online tomorrow after work before Survivor. ;) Catch you tomorrow!

The pictures sure look like you guys were having a great time. The water looked amazing. Did you find Honduras to be worse than other ports as far as people selling things and such? A friend said she really didn't like her stop there, but your pictures make it look so peaceful and wonderful.

Actually, where we docked, there wasn't anyone trying to sell anything. Where the ship is, there isn't much. Basically a pier and some dirt. There isn't any shops, cafe's, stands, or people milling about. However there was some big machinery and the earth had been leveled for what looked like future construction. Our excursion left from inside the fences so we didn't go directly to the two lane street in front. It was probably 100 yards from ship to street. After exiting the fences, we did not see anyone selling anything. Extremely small port and underdeveloped. The only other port we can think of like it, is St Kitts. But even St Kitts is starting to become more developed around the port and has quite a few shops. We weren't even approached on the beach by someone trying to sell something. It was very relaxing and just nice.

Enjoy!

WooHoo!!! :woohoo: I love it!! (Not like, Love!)

Don't blame you one bit, and you should call the admin and let them know. I am sure the teachers were trying to be optimistic, but this was dangerous!

We do need to try Jiko sometime!

Is Art the older African-American gentleman? That is who greeted us. He kept saluting and smiling, and was really nice. That is the only guy I saw greeting incoming guests.

Yup, that's Art!!!:thumbsup2

Glad he's still there! He's wonderful!:woohoo:

Well, I was working today (substitute teaching for a friend) and am just now getting caught up. Quite a bit has happened since I last checked in!!!

That's a great idea if Cheri likes it. We could use your image as her Original Mascot logo and she could dress like tink in pink. I like it!:thumbsup2

Cheri, what do you think?:confused3

Noel, can you find us an image of a pink tinkerbell? Cheri would probably like it except for the blonde ponytail on tink. That's okay, she can wear her own hair and just do the costume.:goodvibes :cutie:

Stress not, your friends here will sort it!!:rotfl:

Found a Tinkerbell wine goblet online!!

Here is the link!

Karen, I don't think it's Cheri's size...:lmao: :lmao:

Too funny, Deb!!:rotfl2:

Actually, I was thinking of it for us Imbibers!:drinking1

Karen

As of now, we have 11 drinkers and 8 non. We'll probably get some more as time goes on. We are having lots of fun with it!!!:goodvibes

I think we wore everybody out yesterday with our pink Champagne Sassy Bubbles day!!! Hangover or something!!

Tink wears green. This is the closest I can find that is kind of sassy and sexy. Let me know.

Noel

I like the 'tude!!!!

I am game but let's see what Cherie thinks!!

:surfweb:

I was playing with the pink tink idea, it was fun to dress her up. Use her, leave her, she is your to enjoy.

Wow! You guys have been busy! It sounds like I'm going to be a "Pink Tink" mascot. How do you think Tink will look with gray hair? :confused3 I may have to get a wig! Is the mascot's name still "Sassy Bubbles", with her sidekick named "Champagne Cork"? I'm up for anything.:cool1:

The champagne goblets are very cool, but as was suggested before, I don't think I'd fit in one!

Even though we're working under a deadline here (May '08 is just around the corner), I'm willing to give all you creative minds a little more time to continue brainstorming the mascot idea, while I sit back and marvel at all your ideas! What fertile brains you all have!!!

BTW, we should definitely get a group picture of this event, especially if all the Champagne Girls will be dressed in pink (or whatever you decide).

OK, enough of this stuff. You guys keep it up and I am going to have to go and find myself a girl scout leader's convention!

On the way to DTD tonight, I told Amy (quite innocently after we had just eaten at Pizzafari at AK) I know what I want tonight, but it isn't going to happen . . . she of course started laughing, and gave me that look. I was talking about my favorite Sundae at Ghiradheli's - I must be getting old.:sad2:

?????????????????????????????????????????

Now make up your mind, John..... is it girl scout leaders' convention and 100# boxes of undies....or getting old????:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Hey Holly,
This was easy for an old first grade teacher!!:rotfl2:

Good morning everyone.
WHAT?! Laughing is allowed where you work?! :scared1: What a novel idea!

Hove a rollicking good laugh today Holly surprise them!:rotfl2:

Okay, here is my Annie story for today. I was able to get her into the doctor at 10:30am. (Everyone was like what are you back for...was there yesterday with Gretchen's broken thumb).

Annie has strep, bronchitis and pneumonia!! They did not put her in the hospital. She is on 4 drugs, including steroids for her lungs. I just keep hearing over and over the teachers telling me "Annie is bouncing back" " Annie is better today" "Annie will be fine" The doctor said she is very sick. She is also contagious.

I called the head teacher and left her a message with Annie diagnosis, in case the other 6 still have fevers or if there are more fevers. I asked her to ring me back....but no surprise...no call.

Annie heard me leave the message and she said "Are you trying to make my teacher feel bad" .. I hate admit it, but I think I was trying to do that...(mouths of babes!!) I just feel like they were not good stewards of my very special child. If I had left her there, the pneumonia would have only gotten worse. No wonder, she could hardly walk in by herself.

I know I need to get over this...but I am still so angry.

Oh wow, poor little mite. I hope the drugs and TLC are working for Annie. You have every right to be angry.

HEY! What are you doing here so early? It's still daytime! :rotfl2:

Her body clock is getting sorted I think!

If anybody remembers my tuition problem resulting from taking a semester off, I had a bit of good news this morning. Yesterday I had sent one last pleading e-mail to school explaining my situation and asking for suggestions on what I can do to be able to continue my schooling. I asked that if whoever read it was unable to help, if they could please forward it to somebody who might have an answer for me. I received an e-mail from the Senior Accountant of the Billing Department this morning telling me she'll offer 5 monthly payments of $1,042.00 each, starting April 1. I wrote back and told her I really appreciated her offer, but there's no way I can come up with $1,042 in 4 days. So she offered me the 15th of each month, starting April 15th. I accepted, knowing it will be much easier to get a loan for the first couple payments rather than the full amount. No way can I come up with that amount each month, but at least it buys some time to worry about the remainder of the balance.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my shoulders because I now know I can continue my education! WOOHOO!!!!! Sure, the problem isn't completely solved, but it's a huge start! :woohoo:

Good news Holly.:thumbsup2

Good morning, Marilyn and Mandy, etc. all!!:coffee:

I am heading off to bed and will catch you sometime tomorrow.:cloud9:

Hope you have a lovely day!!:thumbsup2

Karen

Hi Marilyn, I think it's just you and me on here. I didn't get on all day because I think I caught Karen's tummy bug. Slept most of the day, now I'm up at this odd hour.

How are you, what are your plans for today? I'm taking mom for another doctor appointment later today.
