We have to head straight home after the cruise and get back to work.
Unless between then and now we win the lottery or come up on ERNIE! (Okay, who is going to explain ERNIE to our US friends?)

We're looking at flying either Continental from Birmingham (Bham-Newark-Orlando then LA-Newark-Bham) or American from Manchester (Man-Chicago-Orlando then LA-Chicago-Man), but both are too early (0830ish) for us to fly on the Sunday from LA. We can either stay overnight in LA and have a very early start on Monday, or do the first leg on Sunday and stop overnight in Newark/Chicago, flying home from there on the Monday evening. The only way we can fly home on the Sunday is going into London, which we always try to avoid.

Birmingham is our closest airport and we can park there for free (DH works there) but we tend to use Manchester because we like flying American.

I wish we could do one way fares for half the price! Then we could choose different companies to fly with each direction. I think we will have to come back to London and get the shuttle up from there to Manchester. We can fly direct to Orlando of course. All with Virgin apart from the shuttle up.

On Business in West Palm FL......boy is it a beautiful place! I am staying to The Breakers....a five star on the ocean. Today and tomorrow are play days. Manicure, pedicure, massage, deep sea fishing!!

Food is awesome!!

Very nice too, wish I could be there with you.

The winds have been wicked here though off of the Ocean......WOW...almost got blown away!!

Godspell this weekend at home for my hubby.....we have sold 1,300 tickets now!! That is $13,000 for use use for the Lord!! How awesome it that!! We are sold out.....so no ticket sales at the door. I will be home for the Sunday show, I hope!!

How fantastic is that!

Will catch up more later....going to lay by the pool and read!!

that is the Isetta....ours isn't like that one, but cuter (we think) she looks like a cross between a bug eyed sprite (american I think) and a sunbeam (american too, I think) I'll dig up a photo to post. It has a little 2 stroke engine, like a motorcycle. They came over in small amount to US, about 500. They raced like mad in Europe.

Then tomorrow we are going to see The Last Mimzy...my life, excitement at every freaking turn...

hmmmm, my life of being invited to the premier of "The Robinsons" next week for my birthday makes me feel like I have that exciting life, but wait we have had to postpone that event, in order to spend the night at DD play. Okay things are looking up, a rec play, written and directed by a local who writes the play for the list of kids that enroll in his rec program each session...hmmmm maybe I can get a pedicure in the morning?

Does anybody want a pair of gold Mary Jane CROCS size 8??? They are just a tad too long for me and I stumble when I wear them. They are VERY gently used. OK, Peg made me stop wearing them when I took a nose dive in the atrium of the Magic last November. Free to a good home for just the cost of shipping....OK, and a specialty coffee at Cove Cafe too!

Time for a kitty picture from my household. Here is Acoma, she was helping me do crafts.

I CAN't SEE IT! She's also known as "Parachute Princess"... before Jackie had her she belonged to me and one night a friend (who was staying with me) had a party. I went to bed and said "Make sure you keep the door closed or the cat will get out". She must have jumped from the balcony because of the noise and I found her trapped in a tree in the morning! I climbed the tree and a black male cat WOULD NOT let her past him to come to me. I grabbed him and flung him out of the tree! My little precious came right down the tree to me, "THANKS MOM for saving me from those boys!".

She still sneaks out when she can - huh Jackie???

I'm so glad I never started watching this show!!!!

For my 21st bday several of my sorority sisters took me to CHIPPENDALES...oh gosh, what a ridiculous night and I ended it by praying to the procelain god..........awful! 21 years later and I can still remember how awful it was.........

If you saw Chippendales, it couldnt' have been THAT bad... at least not during the evening!

Ouch!!! When I was around that age I fell down the neighbors concrete stairs busting my 2 top front teeth and part of one of my bottom. I ran home and my mom had locked the doors so I went door to door baning on them and each time my mom came I was gone but the door was covered in blood. She freaked out!! Well they bonded them and I knoked the back out, then my sister accidentlly knocked them out, finally got it right.

Hey we can compare our fake teeth on the ship, should be a fun meet, lol .

Hope everyone's Friday is starting out in the right way...my tummy isn't feeling too good today....thinking I may need to leave work early.

Don't remember who asked this but ..... I haven't decided if I'm spending a day at DL after the cruise or just coming home....if it wasn't Memorial Day weekend I'd definatley do DL, but I'm thinking it will probably be a zoo there that day and I'm not one that really likes crowds.

I bought my plane tkts for NYC for Memorial Day weekend this year (girls theatre weekend) - now we just need to nail down what shows we want to see and buy those tkts.

Ok - off to work (ugh). I'll try to check in later in the day.

Sounds like it will be a great weekend.
