I haven't seen this show, but I have to tell you both that in the Midwest, that is our impression of California (I get enough of the gist from following the conversation).

Having met a bunch of you from there (albeit online) has given me a different perspective. When I was in DL, and walking around DTD, I did see a lot of what I would describe as my initial impression though.

It was very good! Lots of Feta cheese and rice!

Feta makes everything taste beta!!!! I loved working at the Greek place after college...back in the "good ole days."

What I do is when I'm all done here for the day, I save the page under my favorites. Then, next time I come back, I go to my favorites list and click on the DIS page, and it takes me right to where I left off. I do the same again when I'm done, but first delete the last bookmarked favorite, and resave the new page as a favorite. It sounds more time consuming than it actually is....it's really just a couple clicks and it takes me right where I need to be.

If you delete everything that shows up except for the date...so May 10, 2008 for this thread...and save it replacing the existing one you don't have to keep deleting them.

OK, that would be scary to send the wife on the cruise. I used to love the idea of wife swap (the show), but nobody ever goes into a home and says, "you know what I like what I see here, I can learn something from you." It's all about changing people to their own way of thinking first, then learning something. In business school, the first rule is learn from your new environment and then make changes. I wonder how their ratings are doing now? They need to change their formula.

How come there's never a "Husband Swap"?

I think this is discrimination!
