With our huge blizzardlmao yesterday our internet service was down until this morning. If it rains around here the internet goes out. You would think that they could get a decent system!

I love this group!!

I am so glad that we are not the only people on the planet with our Christmas stuff still up!!

We are actually going to leave it up till Monday as we have friends coming over for "Christmas" dinner. We usually do it between Christmas and New Years, but with my being so sick this year, we kept putting it off.

This Monday is a holiday so we will do it then and we will take Christmas down the rest of the week.

I get a good laugh out of all of this. I too still have my tree up and honestly hadn't decided to take it down yet. I bought all new decorations this year and I am enjoying them. Plus my son loves the tree and gets upset when he finds the lights off and will run over and turn them on. He loves looking at the tree and showing off the lone mickey ornament on it.

Tyler's excitement over Bobby coming is almost out of control! He woke me up this morning with a serenade about Bobby. He was standing in my bedroom with his guitar around his neck, strumming away, and singing something like, "It's so much fun when Bobby Banana comes to visit, I just can't wait because when Bobby Banana comes you get to do all kinds of fun things, color with him, show him your toys, play with him, oh I just can't wait 'til Bobby Banana comes!!!! YEAH!" Then he calmly walks away, puts his guitar back in its case, comes back to my room and says, "Good morning mom! Do you think Bobby Banana will be here today?" Um.....no, but soon!

I hope Bobby can stand up to the expectations and "pressure" and doesn't "POP"!

Hey, I think I mentioned that we used to live on Siesta Key, on Gleason Avenue on the north end. I loved being able to walk to the village. Is that really good breakfast place still there? I think it was called the Broken Egg or something like that. It's making me hungry thinking about it.

Yes, the Broken Egg is still here...love that place...also, Village Cafe is another good breakfast place.

Heck let me know when you might go I could use another enabler errr shopping buddy I mean. There are three I shop they are in Vacaville, Napa and Petaluma.

In the Vacaville Outlets I like to visit Restoration Hardware , Coach, Nike, Gap, Burberry, Banana Republic, Ralph Lauren, Guess, and Hello Kitty. Between the Tommy Bahama and Dockers outlet a guy could get his whole cruise wardrobe here.

In the Napa Outlets I like Gap, Coach, Barneys, and BCBG. Barneys is hit and miss. Sometimes it has a lot of house label and other times you will find Manolo Blahnik and Louboutin shoes and cute D&G formals. Oh and they just got a new Gymboree outlet that I have not been inside yet.

In the Petaluma Outlets I like to visit Coach, Lancome, Stride Rite, Off 5th (Saks), BCBG, Banana Republic and Vans. Off 5th has awesome deals on Juicy Couture ladies and girls and usually a ton of high end denim and sunglasses for a fraction of the cost.

When it comes to Coach Petaluma gets more high end styles. Napa has better deals sometimes (but less merchandise) and Vacaville seems to get more accessories then the other two.

Shopping is kinda my thing and if anyone would like to meet for shopping up my way PM me and I'll be there. Karen if you decide to come up my way let me know. We could meet for shopping and lunch. We could have a mini Dis meet!

There is only one person that deals with the dining. She will not start making adjustments until a week or two prior to sail, since she is already working on 3 cruises per week. I found this out when I kept checking for our Dec 2007 cruise. We were linked with my mom, sis, neice, etc and all were early except 2 groups. I contacted our TA and niece contacted her TA multiple times, each time being told it would be taken care of don't worry. So, about 3 weeks out I called DCL dining and that is when I was told one person, not to worry she had our request and would fix it when she started working on our cruise. She did, it was fine!

Debbie is a great person to deal with. She will do whatever it takes to fill all of your requests.
