The Gingerbread Man has been spotted in Wolverhampton! I posted my report on the way home from work yesterday. :)

who is Jeff Martin?

I'm pretty sure it was Erica Kane's first husband (All MY Children) - that was a long time ago, but we were asked not to say how long ago that was. I was when the show started.

Wow I felt like I missed so much to not be on here for a day and a half. I spent some free time shopping and bought mostly things NOT on my list of things I was looking for. Funny how that always seems to work that way. Would have been much cheaper to stay home on the DIS.

Anyhow......... How late do you think I can safely pay off the cruise and still be able to book excursions asap? I paid the deposit and nothing more since. I like the idea of keeping the interest in MY bank not Disneys til the very last moment. I am guessing it takes a few days to post the payment?

Hi Marreazza......I made my final payment this past Wed. and it just cleared my bank account today.....so I would say 3-4 days is safe.

Hope you got a lot of nice things shopping! Do you know what excursions you're doing yet? Me and John are ready to book ours....just waiting for the timing thing.

Well I'm showered and dressed and still don't leave for another hour. Guess I have time to DIS.:rotfl2:

Oh.....Ang just explained that it is being redone so the boats don't drag bottom, since we, as a society, are all 'heavier' now.

Now that you mention it, yes I remember reading something about that being the reason. Basically the canals have to be redone I think.

It is too bad because my Aunt and Uncle are coming with us on this trip and they have never been to DL or WDW and let's face it, the IASW in WDW is a much poorer cousin to the DL original.

And yes it is a "must do" for us too - no matter what other people may say.

Oh geez I just had a realization! My eldest daughter will be the same age I was when I FIRST went to DL in 1978 - I was/she will be 6.5 yrs old! This will be her 2nd cruise, her 2nd time in WDW and her 3rd time in DL!

Welcome to all of our new cruisers and lurkers. I will PM you with questions so that I can add you to our Master List. For all of you who don't know and keep asking......PJ could we put an explanation of gifting and fish extenders on the website and/or first page. Many responses that I'm getting just don't know what gifting and fish extenders are. We have explained it on here already probably more than once but not everyone is able to read it. If it's already explained on the website and page one, then we'll just refer them to those places and hopefully that will fix the problem.

Well we enjoyed Pirates 2. I might just be understanding it a little more, but not a lot!!! Watching 3 tomorrow night and I had no idea what was going on when we watched it at the cinema, so hopefully I will this time....perhaps!!!:lmao:

Nice to see We aren't the only ones with Christmas stuff still up! I think my youngest is wanting to keep it up for her birthday in February!!

In the UK we have a tradition/superstition that all Christmas decorations should be taken down by 12th Night (the night of 5th January). It is bad luck to leave them up after that.

But I noticed in Denver that most places still had decorations up and lights lit until we left on 9th January.

The story of Fish Extenders, instruction on how to make one have been on the website since last march on the Planning page. There is also a list of the teams on The List page.

I can't make changes to the first post of the thread only Laura can make changes to her post. I will leave that for her when she is able to get back to us.

When I lived in Denver nothing came down until after the Stock Show in January and I think that was around the 3rd week.

Thanks PJ I will let everyone who asks know that they should go to the website. Thanks for letting me know that it's already on there......can you tell I haven't been there for a while. I remember going way back when it first started up, but sadly I have not made it back there. Note to self, check out the website again!

We took our Christmas decorations....the tree and the manger....down last weekend. John's birthday was Friday and we put his birthday presents under the tree every year. Then everything was down and gone by Sunday.

John finally got home, we are having steaks and asparagus tonight...he needs to get the grill done before it starts pouring.

well, it is now thundering and very very dark here!!

Hi V.....is Samantha getting another visit from the tooth fairy tonight? Another $10 for the cruise envelope? Poor Haley will be so jealous......she'll be trying to pull her teeth out too!:rotfl2:
