I thought we had already discussed and liked the idea of 'deck captains' that would post changes and new activities and that Noel was the leader of this? Could be I misremember, or drempt it!

I can't seem to remember a thing anymore! From your description, sounds like we are doing what Kelly suggested. Guess things come full circle sometimes!

As for as chatting about things we already discussed and agreed, I think we might want to be open for newbies to come aboard and offer their suggestions. We are still 4 months out, and although much of the talk might be old hand for the majority of us, I'd hate for new posters not to feel welcome to offer their thoughts and suggestions.

Just dawned on me after reading a few other threads that the Magic hasn't undergone the same changes as the Wonder.

So what does the Magic have for "pool" amenities for those children that are not potty trained or need to wear swim idapers? I know the Wonder had the splash zone, but I thought that was a recent modification that the Magic hasn't undergone yet.

So what does the Magic have for "pool" amenities for those children that are not potty trained or need to wear swim idapers? I know the Wonder had the splash zone, but I thought that was a recent modification that the Magic hasn't undergone yet.

they have the Mickey ear.....and they are pretty strict about the swim diapered children in that ear only. Some kids are content in there, but I think as they get a bit older and realize what is going on just beyond that ear, they start to want to climb out and join in the fun in the pool.

They just have one of Mickeys ears! We find the pools for the kids are way too small so we don't do them much.

Back after a lovely weekend away, despite horrible travelling conditions on the way down. It was busy(Friday traffic), and it poured with rain all the way apart from when it was sleeting and snowing a bit!! It took us 4 hours. Coming back today it took 2 hours 45 minutes!

Well guys, we've decided to make the final deposit on the trip and commit to going!!!! We bought our one way tickets yesterday and are ready to jump onboard.

I noticed several posts about smoking, we are the drug guys. Miles To Go is our company for drug prevention education in California. I'd be happy to help with any support I can, I'm known as the smoking nazi and have helped stop many from starting and many to stop.

A little about us: There are 3 of us, Jonathan (DH), Kelly (Me), and Zoe (DD4, will be 5.) We are drug prevention lecturers and speakers - sounds boring, but we've blended science with humor to teach in a really fun way. We live a few miles from DL and went on the B2B 25 day Med cruise last year

We are looking forward to this cruise because it is so much less rushed than the last one. We were exhausted when we finished that one. I'm trying to finish my Ph.D (I specialize in developmental and cognitive behavior and several other interests that I'd be happy to talk to anyone about later), so I plan to get some good reading done on this cruise. I can't wait to find out which movies will be onboard as well. My DH plans to do nothing but read.

Oh, I'm sure I mentioned this before, but it's still worth another good laugh: On my last cruise (the only one I took without Tyler) in January '07, I did just that. Later that evening, after dinner I returned to our room to find ALL my underwear from the garbage can in a pile on my bed! Apparently the room steward thought I made a mistake or something!

I'm embarassed thinking about this!!!

Marilyn, you made twice on HTT, wow. I can do once on that, then I need a break, lol. I love it and it makes me giggle everytime.

I bought myself some flowers the other day - stargazer lilies....they were three bunches for 10 and mostly hadn't opened yet....oh, the smell is intoxication! They are my favorite next to orchids (which, most don't smell).

My very favourite flowers. Remember to remove the pollen!!!

We have lunch, go to the room and start unpacking any bags that have arrived, sometimes go to a 3 pm DIS meet, then drill then back to the room to finish getting settled in before dinner. Not really too hectic for us, unless we are with a group of 13 or so that have never been on DCL before! That was hectic!

Are we goling to have a DIS meet that afternoon?

WOW! There's almost 3000 pages to this trip thread. I was going to read through, see who's crusing, but... that's a lot of reading!!

This is my 3rd Disney cruise (06-1992 Big Red Boat, 05-06-2006 Magic Western). I'll be a stowaway (I'm divorced) on the Ship of Thieves, joining my parents and grandparents. I'm excited for the trip! We're on Deck 6 outside, don't know exactly what category. I'm pretty sure we're on early seating.

Sail on! Any other singles on this trip?

I don't know if there is a DIS meet first afternoon or not. I cannot keep track, but I am sure Seaulater will have all the plans in the navigators. DrHug and I will likely be up on deck 10 watching the goings on at the port around 3 if nothing else is planned.

Now on top of everything else, Daniel left today to go back to Tech

It seems like just yesterday he got home. I had a whole month with him. But between him going to bowling tournaments, orange bowl, Frank being sick and work...I feel like I hardly saw him.

I started to cry today and then I thought of this awesome trip WE are going to take and I stopped!!

He left at 11 so he should be back in his dorm about 4pm....hopefully the snow will wait till he gets back as he drove.

For you guys with little children....hold them tight...it just goes way too fast. And all of a sudden they are adults and on their own.

I just decided to post another picture of him for fun.

We decided in two weeks to go to NY and see Wicked and Little Mermaid.

We have to buy resale tickets....but they aren't too bad.

Hopefully finish planning that tonight.

Okay, I am getting scared again. Once I plan all the getting there and getting home..I have to figure out what to do at each port. Is there a beach or a pool at this resort?

I think I just want to go the beach at each place....is that possible? Shoudl I do it on my own or do it though Disney?

I do want to do the Sea Lions.....
