great - now another penalty and gee, has NE had ONE????
do you still need my info Deb? I can send it no problem....just let me know.
Yes V....could you please send it! Thanks!
it's a good thing this cruise is not during football season! I do wish they had an ESPN skybox though.
Don't worry, DCL sets the final pay date. I had the same concern because my All Seasons invoice said 1/31 as the due date, and I assumed they couldn't make me pay up before DCL says it's due, so I called and asked why it says that. The TA told me DCL does indeed require final payment by 2/10 and the TA just says it's due 1/31 to give you some wiggle room.
The dissertation decision is hard. It actually took me a year and a half to write and then defend. Mine is in Forensic Psychology and the detection of deception during interrogations. Actually ended up being pretty interesting, just took forever.
I taught Statistics for four years at Oregon as a GTF.
Thanks!
I think you are familiar with the fish extenders right? They are those mail box things you hang outside your door (on a fish plaque - hence the name). Anyway, I talk as if I am in the know but actually I've never done this before. What I have heard....you leave your fish extender mail thing outside your door and during the cruise, you will get mail...little gifts left in your fish mail extender. If you'd like to give gifts to those with fish mail extenders, but you don't want to either (a) brainstorm the gift idea alone or (b) pay for the gift alone or (c) hand out the gifts alone, you can join a group of other DISers and become a fish mail team. So far, we have teams for about 9 of the days. Each team has a team leader and that person communicates with the rest of their team to help accomplish (a), (b), and (c) listed above. The budget is individual - each team can come up with their own budget. If it gets too expensive, you can ask for more members of your team to bring down the overall costs.
Does that make sense? I think there is also an explaination on page 1, but I didn't double check that.

be careful with the photographers....I think on one cruise a DIS'er tried to organize it and they wanted to charge us $200 ---(of course, this may all be a dream - Lisa, lbgraves could probably correct me)
I have a confession to make.
The last two months of my life have been pretty much living H*LL. My mom has moved in (August) and then had surgery....4 weeks recovery. She pretty much tells me everything I do is wrong...from the way I do laundry, to the way I am raising my children, to the way I cook. She loves me, but she is so old and set in her ways....I have found so much patience.
I was pretty much getting used to living this way...then Frank got sick. For the last 2 months, I have been going form hospital to hospital.....worried sick about him.
Then there is my 2 girls.....I have never been too sure I could leave them for these 16 days.
And then I started thinking about Vanessa. She will leave us just a few weeks after I get back.
I was really thinking about cancelling. Daniel told me to do whatever I thought was best.
With the final payment due soon, I thought long and hard today and I made a decision .... I am GOING.
I floated the idea by my mom (she never knew I was even thinking about this cruise) and she called me wasteful and selfish. :-( She is supposed to be spending some time with each of my brothers....so maybe I can get her to spend some time with them while I am gone.
My DH is awesome...he is like just go and I will take care of everybody while you are gone....
Holly, I think you saying about your tax refund really made me decide I had to decide.
So anyway, that is a very long story to tell you that I need help making the rest of my plans. I have been checking flights and hotels.
I will post what I have found and anyone with ideas....please help me.
I am thinking I might have a nervous breakdown![]()

what does it entail.....and no, I don't know how to play poker all that well but DH thinks he does.Hello all,
Since disneycruising has cancelled, does anyone else interested in setting this up. I am not a poker player. My husband is interesed in playing, but doesnt want to set it up.I think it is because he has a poker party at our house every other week and doesnt want to deal with it while on vacation. Any takers?
Well that is a good thing....on the other hand, we're going to miss all the season finales and my tivo is not going to record and hold 3 weeks worth, it will start erasing the older programs to make room for the newer ones. So I don't think I'm going to get to see any finale until the summer in reruns.![]()

Hey, I want to fight Lisa for that title...I'm so bad at anything but the multiquote. How can the rest of you guys reply one at a time???
We set up my dance room today....I still need a mirrored wall and new flooring, but I have my ballet barre and a mat and my treadmill and my tv with a vcr so that I can play the tape of my ballet class. I'm psyched to get started.....next week when everybody goes back to work again so that I have my privacy and no interruptions.
Oh yes and Linuxwebguy - welcome aboard! I'm caught between the Leafs and the Sharks myself. Can't stand the Maple Laughs but the Sharks losing will kind of help my Canuckleheads. I think my hatred of the Laughs will overpower the need for the Sharks to Lose.
BTW - my mom lives in Mission, KS!
Well for us Canucks, the Canadian Football season generally starts training camp in late May. We usually spend my birthday at the BC Lions training camp as a family.

This year we will hopefully get back just in time for camp to wrap up and the season to start.
