I bought myself some flowers the other day - stargazer lilies....they were three bunches for 10 and mostly hadn't opened yet....oh, the smell is intoxication! They are my favorite next to orchids (which, most don't smell).

Lillies are my favorite.....I love the way they look and smell. I just had a bouquet for christmas and I used them in my wedding bouquet. They go great with roses.

I agree doing the picture on a sea day when everyone is less rushed is a good idea. Also more people will likely show up. I know I will be running around all hectic the first day trying to create magic in the rooms and get everything settled in.

Can you get them to announce on the ship to remind everyone???

Just came back from our new Walgreens. They had concentrated ALL (20 oz) 12 load size on sale for $2.00. I picked a bottle up for the cruise. I use Tide but haven't seen it in such a small size. Our laundry will survive.

I only plan on washing socks and underwear. I plan on sending everything else out to be laundered.

If Rich did the laundry, things would be new colors and sizes.
I wish we got freebies in the mail. We never get anything.

If you go to Walmart - check in the travel sizes section over by the shampoos and such - I get the small little bottles of All for about $1.98 each and they do two loada... I have always used all and love the concentrate...

If we don't all fit squeezing in on Deck 7 we can always move to Deck 10 and do it. I hope we can all squeeze together because that would be an awesome shot taken from deck 10 down. I guess we'll see.

Who takes the picture? Will the ships photogs do it?

I checked a little bit ago and am still in the lifeboat. Seems like I will never get out, maybe I should pack an air mattress!

Great haircut!!! You'll be surprised when you go to wash it the first time and you will go to reach for the hair and it's not there... I got 3 inches off last week.... wish it weighed something... I'd feel like I had accomplished something...

I've also heard of people going to the local laundymat and getting soap boxes there - you just have to be careful and wrap them in ziplock bags - not sure if anyone has had problems flying with them.

Well, psychologists try to work on behavior modification first. They don't prescribe drugs, but since the things he's doing are so severe and keep getting worse, she strongly recommends meds before 1st grade before he starts getting teased. But his dad is against meds, so we have to work on him. He was very surprised that she recommended that route (we'd have to get prescriptions through his pediatrician), but since he knows quite a few people who have had great success with this doc, I suspect he'll open up to the idea. She wants to continue her evaluation next week (and will meet with Tyler that day too) and then the following week she'll discuss strategy, whether that be behavior or meds. Meds would also include behavioral therapy because he'll need to learn different coping mechanisms.

Wonderful news on Tyler....he is so cute!! I so agree withthe DR on the 1st grade comment. Children can be so mean!! I think you have hit the bottom of the hill and now you can start back up!!

OK THEN if there are no objections, let's do it on the secret deck on 7 at 2:30 pm - right after lunch - on our first sea day - Monday May 12th.

We need to do it after our day at CC so we can all get some color in our faces, we don't want to look like winter yuck!

If this is not a good idea for any reason, please speak up now......or forever.....you know how it goes.

If it's good for everyone, we'll put it in the mini navigator that seaulater is doing and everyone gets one....also the master dis list is going to be in the mini navigator.....so everyone will be well equipped and well informed.

V....no excuses now......I heard how you missed a DIS photo in the past.....we want to see your family's smiling faces in our picture......so you have to be there!

YEA, I'm getting excited......making all the final plans to get this boat out of the harbor and into the canal........with all of you!

1. I think we should have a rain date all picked out. That way if the weather is bad we con't have to get to everyone to pick another day.

2. We haven't talked about this for a while, but I think we were going to play Bunco this afternoon as well....I think it was supposed to be the first sea day. I am waiting to see who has cancelled and I will re-post the list of Bunco players.......

3. Can we wear either solid lime green or solid white? There is no way in the whole wide world I could get Daniel to put on a lime green shirt.....just would not happen!!

Well guys, we've decided to make the final deposit on the trip and commit to going!!!! We bought our one way tickets yesterday and are ready to jump onboard.

I noticed several posts about smoking, we are the drug guys. Miles To Go is our company for drug prevention education in California. I'd be happy to help with any support I can, I'm known as the smoking nazi and have helped stop many from starting and many to stop.

A little about us: There are 3 of us, Jonathan (DH), Kelly (Me), and Zoe (DD4, will be 5.) We are drug prevention lecturers and speakers - sounds boring, but we've blended science with humor to teach in a really fun way. We live a few miles from DL and went on the B2B 25 day Med cruise last year

We are looking forward to this cruise because it is so much less rushed than the last one. We were exhausted when we finished that one. I'm trying to finish my Ph.D (I specialize in developmental and cognitive behavior and several other interests that I'd be happy to talk to anyone about later), so I plan to get some good reading done on this cruise. I can't wait to find out which movies will be onboard as well. My DH plans to do nothing but read.

I think this is an excellent idea....how do you still think of such things with all that's on your plate right now. You are an amazing woman Lisa.....all due respect coming your way!

Shutters (I made a typo the first time.....I typed an "i" instead of a "u" has ) never has been where they said they would at the time they said they would.

Just an FYI for whoever to going to talk to them.

Cool - which iMac did you go with? We just upgraded to the 24" iMac and love it!

DH got the 24" IMAC in August, I got the biggest MACBook Pro in October and DH got a 13" MACBook for Christmas. For staunch PC people we have really fallen in love with our MACs

Why would you do this? Why wouldn't just buy them onboard for $1?

I guess it was just a tip I picked up from others who do it for WDW... I've never done the ships before...
