He said by law, they had to spend at least twenty minutes with the applicants reviewing. The other twenty-five minutes was because he was just plain SLOW.
Although I have to say when I got ours back in 2005, we were in and out maybe 30 minutes tops and there was 1 person in line ahead of us. We had all the paperwork filled out, pictures, etc. The person ahead of us didn't. Handed them forms, told them to fill them out and get back in line. Then said next, we were up and done. The longest part was verifying my ID and my Ex's (who thankfully showed up) against the birth certificate so they could issue my daughters. I am lucky that her PP doesn't expire until 9/2008, and I am just going to wait until 10/2008 when she is 16 and renew hers as an adult. Then we don't need my ex and it will be good for 10 years!!! After that she can pay for her own!!!
