This is a really big group of people. Maybe rather than going into the fish extender business, they would be willing to post some instructions or patterns so folks could make their own. That might be something to post on the website, so it's easy to locate. Some of the craftier types (that would not be me) might be willing to make some for others. I can't imagine trying to make fish extenders for this whole crew, though. Whew!

That was my thought excatly. I would love to know how to make my own. Making them for everyone would be crazy, wonderful, but crazy!

Hey, I forgot to (I think I forgot....if I didn't forget, I've fogtten that I did) tell you guys that when I checked the DCL website this morning ALL catagories (except 6 which is sold out) are only available as GTY. So, do you think that's an indication that we are nearly sold out? Well, technically oversold, as they do oversell anticipating cancellations (or so I'm told).

Well, my Phillippa Gregory novel is calling me, so I'm off to bed.

I think it has been gty only for a little while? I know I called Monday of this week and they told me it was gty for all. That was when she told me it would never switch back to opening up some cabins. We are in connecting 9 WAY forward. I hope they work out ok b/c I don't think we will be getting that IC call to tell us our suite is ready!

This cruise has a lot of firsts for us - our first Disney cruise, our first two-week cruise, our first through the Panama Canal, our first cruise longer than a week and the bigeee (drum roll, please) - our first without our children (one is in college; one just got married and is in the Navy). We are a bit concerned about cruising alone and hope to meet up with other couples. We just discovered this board, which has lots of great information and lots of enthusiastic folks!

Lots of people cruising without their kids here, including me, but I'm not a couple! I'm starting to feel like the minority! Traveling with my friend Cindy, but let me clear the air and say that we're not a couple, just in case anybody was wondering. I only mention that because when we cruised last month, Cindy said she thought her family was thinking we were a couple! I was pretty horrified at the time, but it's actually quite funny!

Yeah I did. I did it myself on the computer, and it worked.

I should have no problems booking tonight. I don't think this cruise is anywhere near being sold out. I want High Tea and Brunch and one of my children in flounders. Shouldn't be a problem since I'm the only goofy person taking small children on this adventure.

ok - checking to see if DD's actions were successful in inserting the logo for this cruise into my sig line - here's hoping!

AMENDMENT: DD says I have to tell you all that I was trying for over 1 hr - she managed to figure it out in 5 minutes! Credit given where credit is due

i too am up to make ressies but sadly my payment did not get posted by my TA's office on sat so i was unable to make ressies...i prbably will not get this straightened out until monday so i am a little bummed!!!!

it is not my ta's fault because i am a procrastinator...she sent me an email in the middle of the week telling me she would be gone friday, sat, and sun but her office staff would be avail to post payments...well i set everything up to use my bank debit/credit card by raising the limit for 24 hours to accomodate a big withdrawal....well my ta called me from out of town telling me the card would not go through because it was over the daily limit...well the problem was the office staff had run it though after the 24hours was up so my bank raised the limit again but then they never ran my card again like they were supposed to!

I have been thinking about how we are getting to the port and back usually we just drive and leave our car at whatever hotel we stay at and then drive home...but since we will be flying home I am not sure what we are going to do. I guess we could drive to Orlando airport and park...and then get a shuttle or something to drive us to the port...and then when we fly home just fly to Orlando and drive home...man that is going to be a long day,...have you thought about your plans??

I'm planning on renting a car in West Palm and dropping in off near the port. Most of the rental car companies in Port Canaveral have shuttles to the port. I figure since FL is so good about dropping rental cars off at different locations that this will be the cheapest and easiest option. Then I can fly back into PBI and just have someone pick me up or take a taxi home.
