Pj, if you and John want to play, we either have to get Amy or Steve or some other nice person on this thread cause it takes at least 4. and I will tell you all about it. Steve will not play. He hates it, I would have to give him something like a big screen plasma t.v.

I have to warn all of you though . . . I am a serious gameplayer. Amy will not play any games with me, and the only one who will play games with me is my son. I absolutely HATE losing, and I play to win.

Unfortunately, for me games are as much competition as social. So just beware if you ask me to play. Not a sore loser, or a bad winner - just serious about all competition.

Unless of course, it is "Pretty, Pretty Princess" with Sophia.

Kim, I think that would be a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Seems a lot like the way my Euchre tournaments ran, losers moving, winners staying. I will be reading up more on it, and I always bring dice for yahteez so, score sheets and we are set.

There's a Starbucks in our Albertsons and I have to admit that ONCE I actually stood in the line...to buy a giftcard for a coffee fiend of a friend!

Never tried the froo-froo coffees, but DH says the regular coffee (and, yes, they stare at him blankly when he's ordered it!) is awful.

Your DH is absolutely correct. Regular Starbucks tastes.....just plain burnt. You have to add the milk and flavors to it then it is yummy!

We saw Pans Labyrinth while it was in the theatres...the girls and I really enjoyed it. Realizing that the girls are 14 & 15. Would NOT recommend it for young kids at all....It is NOT LOTR or HP...it is a

Just found a trailer...how'd I miss that one coming out? Looks good...I'll put it on my Netflix list. Anyway, my kids won't watch LOTR or HP, either. DS8 has read all the HP books at least twice, but once it's on screen it's scary!

With Children of Heaven came Born into Brothels (what can I say? I went a little nuts in the foreign language documentary section! And, NO, the kids didn't see that one. The moms curse worse than sailors!). I liked that one ok, but it hurt my soul to think about the future of those children. Just want to scoop them all up and bring them home.

Days at sea are my favorite part of a cruise. Just watching the water. Love it! I'd be thrilled to take a cruise with nothing but sea days!

I hope someone can answer this for me. I booked my ressie on line 1/31 with a confirmation price. The ressi I had booked for 12/15/07 was to transfered as soon as my TA came back from her cruise. I just received an email telling me she transfered all my info, to the WB. Now she is quoting me a different price. Shouldnt I get the orginial price when I booked on line 1/31

I would certainly think so...did she add in anything like insurance, transfers, etc? Do you have a print out of your confirmation? Have you faxed or scanned and emailed it to her?

Typically when you transfer an existing reservation, you cannot transfer it to another exisiting, you have to transfer it to a new reservation. That's why you have 2 prices. The price you have now and the price your TA got for the transferred reservation, not the one you have.

Kim, that sound correct, this was a big issue with people wanting to transfer/combine monies from pre 01/31 bookings with ressies booked on 01/31 by someone who was not the ressie holder, i.e. a TA is the ressie holder, and the client is not the ressie holder in DCL eyes.
