I thought the law got changed here in Florida. It used to be that you couldn't import wine but I thought you could now. I'll try to find out. Connie

They did - it was linked to a Supreme Court decision. Check to see where you can import, I think it may be the smaller vineyards.

I too had to leave the Magic on my birthday....my 40th birthday, I was so sad (it was August 6, 2005)...sad for turning 40 and sad for leaving the Magic!!!

I cried the first time I left the Magic......I still have tears in my eyes when I leave. I heard that there is lots of "dust" in the ari at Port Canaveral....Wonder if there is "dust" in the air at LA?

Nice to meet you!!! A nurse tonight explained just what you said. They changed up all his meds today to try and get the infection under control. His organs are a mess. Tonight they gave him Thorazine which is an anti-psycotic drug sometimes used for hiccups. Well within 15 minutes the hiccups stopped first time since Monday no hiccups. It is a very small part of his illness but made him feel so much better not to hiccup.

I hope they keep him here till he really is better this time.

Small things matter - Glad that this helps.

Our Taylor is a bit better. I love that the Children's Hsp is a short walk from my work. ************


I talked with my uncle and my cousin did leave a letter addressed to his ex-wife. We don't know the contents of the letter yet except what he wanted for services for him. He requested no "memorial", but rather a wake at the local bar he has been frequenting. **************

So glad your Talyor is better - Children's hospitals can be so wonderful.

You are a good neice to go woth your uncle....Sounds like an Irish Wake--- each to his own.

Hi everyone, just checking in. Oy, life is keeping me so busy lately. To add to all my other matters, I now have a funeral to go to on Sunday. One of my friends lost her 18-month battle with cancer. She was only 51 years old. She went from 190 lbs to 80 lbs on her 5'9" frame. Just goes to show that life can be short so you should enjoy every day like it might be the last. Ok, I am off to bed as I have to be up in a few hours and start all over again. I will have both boys this weekend and need to take them to have their new suits tailored so they will look nice for a formal photo on board. Talk to everyone soon.

Oh my, how sad, prayers for you and the family - 51 is too young....

Off Palm Beach.....many great sites here. Reefs and Wrecks...

My extra piece for the wetsuit came yesterday and I hope to try it out. It will add 3.5 to my 3.5 suit, over the core...so I can be warm in the Pacific.

I'm so sorry Mary. How sad. I believe your sister only died last year too. Very difficult for you all.

Hello everyone - I found you all. No way I am going to try and catch up on lost time.

Right after Amy left, and Sophia went to her aunt's I got sick with a bad cold. I started on meds on Monday, but I have not been myself all week long. I have trudged through work every day, but have not felt like even getting on the computer in the evening. I am still a bit under the weather today. And speaking of weather it has been awful and dreary here.

I have two requests for Bobby that I have not fulfilled. If there is any way I can get it done, I will take care of that tomorrow. I have to see if I can scrounge up an additional Bobby.

I do talk to Amy daily in Manilla, and she is doing fine.

I hope everyone else is doing well, and you have all been in my thoughts as the day approaches when we will all finally meet. I read a post by Ken in getting here about how close we are, and I too don't know whether to be happy, or sad.
