Now Ottawa.... they will not even make the playoffs.....

ahhhh how the mighty have fallen.....

If all the series go the maximum 7 games...the last game will be in June.....it just might happen this year..there's no strong team out of the east and the west teams will beat themselves up before the final...so it should be interesting to say the least

Good evening all, Well, its been very busy here this weekend. Saw Nan, Steph, Marr & all the kids on Saturday morning then left them to have a bite with Karen and Ann & more kids (I was kidless this trip.) Then another disser friend and I did a massive garage sale down in San Diego and sold a ton of stuff, but got very sunburned. It's a true testament about how white I am since it was half clouds and rain in between glimpses of sun.... and I only bought $12 worth of other people's stuff. I'm exhausted!

Has anyone stayed at Caribbean Beach....the pool will be closed before our cruise....should I stay here? I have never stayed at this resort and have always wanted to.....
Would rather stay at Boardwalk....but not available all weekend...

We have a soft spot for CB, it was where we spent our honeymoon. It's a nice place, but we haven't been there for 9 years. We wanted BC, but what a shock we couldn't get in there either.

On one hand, I wonder why DCL allowed this to happen. On the other hand, I don't suppose it was something they'd ever considered a possibility.

Do you think they will now have procedures in place to stop it happening again? For instance, limiting how many of the special items someone could buy at the same time? I know someone has said about an order form for pins, but that wouldn't cover things like t-shirts.

How could anyone be so mean and un-Disney? Makes me wonder if he actually had any interest in the cruise for itself, or only to make money from the merchandise.

DCL learned some big lessons, and has procedures in place, like using pin order forms.

The Old Port Royale feature pool will be under refurbishment from Jan 7 through mid-September 2008. There are six other pools available, and waterslides for children are being added at the Barbados and Jamaica village pools. In addition, enhanced children's recreation activities will be offered during the refurbishment.

We stayed there. Had a great time and really enjoyed it. Never once went into the pool though. There are small unthemed pools throughout the resort as well. There was one right in our "section". The only time we saw the themed pool was the day we were leaving as we were sitting around waiting for the DCL bus.

There is lots to do if you are planning on spending lots of time at the resort, and there did seem to be enough pools all over so the main one wouldn't be an issue. I would recommend a preferred room though as it can be quite the hike to the main eating area.

Just booked my plane tix for my trip to Phx in August! I know it isn't the best time to visit (but I am fine with the heat) but it is my annual convention. It is at the Biltmore, what a great hotel that is

Oh yes, August in Phoenix is LOVELY!

Maybe we can have a mini DISmeet at the Biltmore??

I bought all the alcohol I will need on the ship, two 6 ounce bottles, one vodka one golden rum. . . . I also have three, two glass, tetra boxes of wine, yes, I am bring juice boxes of wine, lol.

Can you bring that into the U.S. in checked luggage?

Gotta love that motto. I think I will start and live by that one. I was diagnosed with MS in 2000 and my brother in 2001. My brother has gone down hill so quickly to the point where he can't do much for himself and is in a wheelchair. However, I have been blessed with a miracle and no major effects other than the first symptoms. That certainly changed my outlook on life and I will now live it to the fullest so that I don't leave this earth with any regrets. We are cruising and loving it and fifty years from now, I will not be sorry I spent the money but I will be glad I didn't let the opportunity pass me by. We are making such wonderful family memories in the process.

Take care and live life like you have never lived it before and dance like nobody's watching.

Well, I wandered into the TV room and lost an hour watching some dolphin stuff. The food network also has the Disney princess cake challenge on now, so I'll want to mosey back in there to see the finished cakes before it's time for Jane Austen.

Think I'll be dosing up on some Nyquil tonight...the nose blowing is getting pretty intense!
