Lisa(Disneylover), how is Frank?

Deb, how is the leg? continuing to improve I hope.

Marilyn, those pictures of the grandkids are just too precious.....also Lisa/calmom so are your kids. I LOVE LOVE LOVE seeing the little ones all dressed up and so cute. Thank you to both of you for sharing these. Keep them coming.

My leg still needs to be wrapped. I sure hope I don't still have to wrap it on the cruise. I would hate to have to bring all the medical supplies with me too. I'm not going to need the compression sleves for the edema on the trip because I will be on steroids temporarily and all the swelling goes down when I take those. So that's a relief. I have another doctor appointment tomorrow so we'll see what he says then.

Thanks Kathe & Deborah - the photos do bring back such great memories. It was our youngest first exposure to Mickey. He just LOVED him. As we were leaving, we walked past the Disney Store in the airport and he just flipped out! Pointing, screaming, so happy. I can't wait to see his face when he sees the ship. Ok, now I really need to clean...or at least start putting my cruise clothes together!
Lisa

PJ, are you putting this in your checked luggage then? Is there a limit of what you can take into the US from Canada ?

Kathe

Kathe they are at LCBO, right at the cash stations. There was vodkas, rums, brandy, whiskey and a couple of others, but some were in glass bottles. I do this because that is all I will need for the cruise, also these were in plastic bottles. I did see some new wines that are in bottles that look like a coffee thermos (some-kind of thin metal,) that would pack in checked luggage without braking worries.

My two normal drinks are cranberry and vodka, a cape cod. Or a rum and diet coke with lime. For fun I like a fruity something or other.

Pj

Thanks Deb too! Just read your post. I love dressing them up. It is one of my favorite things! I love the bathing suit outfits I got them. I can't wait to see them all dressed up and ready to go to the Mickey pool! Such joy. Ok....really, really, really going now!
Have a good day everyone, Lisa

I bought all the alcohol I will need on the ship, two 6 ounce bottles, one vodka one golden rum. Cheap date I am for sure. I also have three, two glass, tetra boxes of wine, yes, I am bring juice boxes of wine, lol.

Juice boxes of wine and 6 ounces of vodka and rum is just NOT enough PJ.....please let me at least buy you one BBC......it's to die for!!!:rotfl:

Deb, I love the sound of the BBC, but I can't do the creamy drinks, lol. It's not a won't, it a can't.

Sounds great :thumbsup2 I'll have to check out the LCBO , there's one that is a two minute walk from my work, but usually I head right to the vintages section ;) I'll have to look around a little next time I stop in :)

Kelly Kids has some matching outfits. I noticed the swim wear I got Brent from HA is not on line anymore.

I've been de-clutering my scrapbook supplies today. I have 3" stack of patterned paper to give away so far.

I've also been making mini quiches for a swap/shower party on Friday. And also doing :laundy:

Darrell went to work today - probably to avoid cleaning!!!

Hope everone is having a nice Sunday :goodvibes

All my worrying about what to wear will soon be forgotten, I know I am going to so enjoy watching all of the little ones on this cruise that I won't be caring what I'm wearing ;) I can hardly wait until my GD will be old enough to take to disney. Of course, the DOD will help too :upsidedow

Deb, I'm sorry you're still having problems with your leg :sad2: Hope your Dr. appointment goes well and he gets you all fixed up :thumbsup2

OK PJ.....I'm getting you a Bahama Mama.....John says they are rum based with lots of fruit juice and DCL does them great!

Also, if you like a Cape Cod......then maybe I'll get you to try my Caribbean Lemonade.....it's Absolute Mandarin, Triplesec, sour mix, cranberry, topped with Sprite.....it's soooooooo yummy. Promenades gave us the recipe when we asked.....we still have the bar check that it's written on.

Then John says he's really going to get you going by giving you what he drinks......a Tropical Depression......it's like a Long Island Iced Tea on steroids.

Oh I can tell we're going to have a lot of fun on this cruise.

Thanks Kathe.....well at least it's only one leg still and not both anymore. I guess that's an improvement.

:rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao:

Just dropping in - I can't keep up with you guys - you must be professional Disers! :rotfl2: Just wanted to say thanks for posting all the pics. I love the baby pirate booties and seeing all the little ones in their formal wear - too cute! :cutie:

I have finally bought DD6 some nice shoes to go with her formal dresses - they have a small heel so she thinks she's all that and a bag of chips now! :rotfl:

I have our pirate outfits and matching Disney tropical dresses and shirt for DH. For Mexican night, I bought a Guayabera for DH (which he doesn't know about - yet :rolleyes1 ) and I will wear a top I bought last year in Cancun. DD6 will probably want to wear her Senor Frog's dress since she got it in Mexico. We have our formal wear sorted too - DH's kilt has finally arrived! :yay: Now all i gotta do is remember to pack it all! :lmao:

Still waiting for that stateroom number though! :upsidedow

Deb, you mentioned the Caribbean lemonade before, I liked the sound of it. I haven't done a LIIT since I was in sorority, lol. Bahama Mama, sounds like me, :thumbsup2 .

wow, we are just in from the pool. Been out there all afternoon. Is gorgeous! Got lots of sun.....Samantha is swimming like a fish, she is all of a sudden going from one end to the other. John grilled ribs and steaks on the grill. Yum!

DEAL!!!! Caribbean Lemonades and Bahama Mamas for us it is!!! Oh what fun we are going to have!!! I want to go now, I don't want to wait a month or so. I'm completely ready, able and willing......let's get this show on the road already.

PS. I'm still in the lifeboat! Guess we better wait until I get an assigned room.:headache:

I'am not ready, tried to take the suitcase out of the closet, it would not come. Now I have to remember how I got it in there. I guess in the next couple of weeks I will have to get to that.
