We have had this problem with wineries. The other thing is that someone over 21 has to sign off on it so it would be weird to send it. I will tell you that if I had four bottles of champagne, it wouldn't make it until the cruise. I'll be shopping on the 7th.:lmao:

Okay, I admit it, we're now down to three bottles!! We will definitely be going again. They just didn't have that many of each one, so we bought them. It might just be my favorite new store!!! They just opened not too long ago and it is about 7 minutes from my house!

there is this one I copied from the magnet thread a while ago. A bit rough round the edges but...

That is perfect.:thumbsup2

Keep trying!!:lmao:

I have the mickey head as a PS brush, if anyone does work in PS or PSE, I can try and send it. I tried to make digital scrapbook paper with it, I need to practise.

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday...Friday's almost here! What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

Bad, bad day here. I really thought 2008 was going to be better but... I got a call from DD this morning that DGD12 was being transported from Salem Kaiser dr office to Dornbecker's Childrens Hospital. She has a very serious case of pneumonia. The Childrens Hospital is attached to the one DD and I work at by a skybridge so an easy walk over when she arrived. Her right lung is completely full and they were talking about putting in a chest tube, but after a second xray thought that might not be necessary. They have her on a couple of IV antibiotics and we are praying for a quick recovery. She is on oxygen, had a reaction to vancomycin and had to be put on benedryl for that. She is quite the trouper. When they were trying to get an IV in at Kaiser to transport they kept sticking her and she finally said "could you just try a different place?" I spent a bit of time with them, then decided I would go back to work for awhile while the docs worked her up and decided what to do. As I was walking back to my office I got a call on my cell from my sis telling me our cousin had commited suicide this morning. :sad2: This was as huge shock, the last person I would expect this from. His dad (my favorite uncle) has lost 2 wives in the past 5 years and now a child. :sad1: How much loss can one person endure? He can use lots of prayers. He is 82 years old and plans to fly back to Delaware for services. So far no one has been able to say they can go with him. I will talk with DrHug when he gets home and see if I can do a couple of days.

Ok, now I am going to try to catch up on this new thread. I will skip the last 10 pages of the old one.

Thanks for listening to my troubles.:grouphug:

Hi everyone! Happy Thursday...Friday's almost here! What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

I will be at LAX at 5:00 am for a flight to Michigan for my Mom's birthday! I'll be coming back on Monday. It's a long way to go for just a few days, but totally worth it when I see how happy it makes her for me to go. She's turning 82. I get to see the snow and be in the cold weather for a few days - it's a nice change from sunny CA - for a few days that is!

Angie-I'm so sorry to read this! Pixie dust to you and your family! :wizard: :grouphug:

Frank is terrible. They say he has Failure to Thrive. He has a fever and his blood pressure is about 70/40. He is throwning up and coming out the other end as well. He has had the hiccups since Monday non-stop. They say he is becoming septic, which I am not to sure I understand. They told me the infection is racing though the blood stream. He is weak and miserable.

Lisa-I know this is so difficult and I just wanted to say how sorry I am for all of you.

That is really great of you to go. I know it must mean a whole lot to her that you take the time to honor her special day. Really a great daughter you must be. :flower3:

I could see her from across the room, but I still knew this was the only way I could have a conversation with her!

DEB and I sit and talk over coffee on week ends and she or I will say "did you hear what so and so said about" and we're off she lights up her laptop and I grab mine. it is funny we sit and talk to each other, or post back and forth across the living room[/QUOTE]

DrHug and I sit "cheek to cheek". :) :lovestruc

Could you imagine John1 as school board pres and parents who actually understand the value and cost of a proper education?

:cloud9:

Pj

Actually, no I couldn't because it would be just so amazing! And of course this dream community would have to be close to some type of Mouse Magic!!!! :cloud9:

I got a "Welcome to the Neighborhood" package today. We have lived here for 4 years! When I opened it all that was in it were lots of coupons for different cigarettes. I can't believe that they are now sending coupons for cigarettes! We don't even smoke!

Geez, all I got was a coupon for 15% off of blinds or curtains at JCP! I think that may be a hint for my neighborhood!

unless it is on their car
That drives me absolutely nuts! My ex-husband was the biggest slob in the house (he'd make sandwiches RIGHT ON the counter without a plate underneath and leave the crumbs all over), but if there was a speck of dust on his car he'd have to spend hours washing and waxing and polishing. :rotfl:

I check for our room info twice a day, morning and night.:surfweb:

What does this mean:confused3

Vicki:flower3:

Vicki, I noticed that you are in Gurnee. I was just there a couple of times over the last month or so. I was so happy because I was able to go to the Cracker Barrel and Culvers!
