Thanks! But I think all kids are like that. You might not enjoy meeting him though because he'll be wild and crazy with excitement and you won't be able to see him because he'll just be a blur as he whizzes by, dragging me behind, in search of another character, or on our way to the Mickey pool!

Well, long story, a slight mix-up, we'll be driving down to FL with an economy size Enterprise rental car, drop the rental off and take their shuttle to port, and make an adventure of the trip down. Tyler loved his drive to TN a while back, so I think he'll do fine doubling the drive. I did a mapquest and it says 1200 miles, 19 hour drive from our house. I'll be exhausted by the time we get there, but that's OK because vacation will start!

No return flights yet though.

Well, vacation is winding down to the last few hours, although sister will be here till Tuesday morning, I have to go to work tomorrow

Ah well, now that this event is done I can focus on the final details of the cruise....still have to buy trip insurance, print documents, load printshop22 and play with door signs, etc. etc. etc.

Time to go build a beverage for sister and I and get settled in for Emma.

I am just waiting to see how morning sickness hits me, because if it is bad, we will have to leave ship, hopefully it will be just like my other pregnancy where I felt great all the time.

In case we don´t make it, since we might cancel at the last minute, we will still be paying for our part of the hummerzine and the fish extender team, so count us in for both, please.

I woke up very early today (6am) and was very, very sick. Throwing up and....well, details are not needed. This went on until about 10:30. I have slept off and on and have managed to keep a cup of tea and a piece of dry toast down this afternoon. Even V and Deb's dinners don't sound good. I must be sick. Just up now for a few minutesk but I am dizzy and heading back to lie down again. Happy birthday to Marilyn and Cork.

when do airlines notify you of a change, I know our flight has changed because I have looked but Frontier has yet to notify me.

30 days out - unless you've gone on-line and accepted the change already then I don't think they send you anything.

Have a fun trip...hope DH is going too since its his parents...that usually helps me when he's there too...but I always make an effort because they want to see the grandchildren and its important to the kids too It'll fly by


At this age its so funny seeing his classmates with teeth missing and there new big front teeth he has one almost all in and the new one coming in and he does have at least 2 or three more loose It'll be interesting to meet your DD I was always pretty good at telling twins apart...my cousins were identical twins and were born on the same day as me and nobody could tell them apart but I could...they also have different personalities but best friends. My moms sister was visiting my mom to see me , the newborn, and went into labor and had her twin boys we were raised close by for the first 5 years and were refered to as the triplets(combined bday parties etc...). Their dad and my dad were friends for years and went to law school together and married sisters ...really cute

Wow what fun with the "triplets"!!! It's great having such close relatives!!! And yes, some can tell my daughters apart but it's usually only those that have known them forever!!! Unless of course they're missing their teeth!!!!

And unfortunately my husband won't be there as he died 6 1/2 years ago....that's why it will be such a hard visit!!! But in a week from now it will all be over!!!!

Have to finish packing now!!! Hope you all have a wonderful week!!!

??? Okay, I never thought about the tours, if we're taking the ship's excursion's, do we still tip, if so how much

When we've taken the all day tours we usually tip about $10 each and the half day tours $5 each. And we've done all our excursions through DCL.

I don't think everyone tips though. And we didn't tip for the stingrays at CC - never even gave it a thought until later. Have people who've taken that tour tipped? And if so who did you tip? I think there were 4 guides at our session.

I'll be so happy to get back to work tomorrow, just so I won't be sitting around my house eating non-stop all day and night! Good grief! I need somebody to come over here and take the can of CHOCOLATE FROSTING and spoon out of my hands! Remind me again that a can of frosting IS NOT the same as a container of pudding!

Just got back from sister's house and bowling and driving my neice home to los gatos.

We had a honey baked ham, scalloped potatoes, yummy green salad, pinapple, potatoe salad and bloody marys, cookies, cupcakes rice pudding and CANDY for dessert, such a great lunch/dinner. Then we all went bowling which was totally fun, then home Paul just made me a croque-monsieur for a late evening snack.

I always like the story of the red couch that someone took all over the world and took pictures... Another one was when a garden Gnome went missing from a garden, the thiefs sent postcards and pictures from all over and then mysteriously the gnome turned up back in their garden a year later...

Amy arrived in Manilla safely and tired. Called me about 23 hours after she left.

Ok... Kurt Vonnegut lived in the town next to us... worked for GE in the olden days (HATED IT)... and also served on the volunteer fire dept. When he died they did a ceremony for him, retiring his helmet...

Thanks I forgot to mention that too - we usually tip the driver half of what we tipped the guide.
