I used DU and I recently got my room number and we were a Cat 10

I wonder if because of the volume that DU called DCL and said that they need ? cat 5 rooms, ? cat 6 rooms and so on. That may be why so many of us have no room# while people that did it themselves or used another TA got a room#.

Those are my thoughts, but they have treated us fantastically with the OBC, so I can cope.

I think I will pack the dive gear and the formal night and other themed nights and weigh bags then decide what else we will wear - hey who said we can't be pirates for more than 1 night???

I went with a different TA and got a gty. Having been in the business I think it was just that at a certain point DCL got overwhelmed and stopped giving out room numbers to anyone and just gave out gtys. Which would have been faster. Anyone requested before that time got a room number, anyone after got a gty. That way they could go back in when things were slower and sort everything out. Now that said, do I like it, NO! I want my room number too!
