By the bye I took a look at that Lowepro compudaypack yesterday and it will meet our needs....has a great handle and it seems to be well balanced

The lowepro supplier for Ontario, just put out a discount list and the Compudaypack is on it, in orange and green (cost is $44 to the retailer right now, then think margin on top). Wait a few weeks, if you haven't bought, there should be some sales in the comming weeks. We are ordering a couple in for my boss and co-workers. I don't need anything that big.

Has anyone thought about the size of a 12"x12"x6" box. That is 1/2 a cubic ft., I don't think you could get 20# in it if you packed it with rocks. A box that size would handle 1 pair of crocs in a small size.:scared1: Sure hope those dimensions are incorrect.

Doug

Our record storage boxes are 9"x11"x17", that was his other way of describing the box. I could do 20 lbs in that. I wonder if it is actually 12 x 12 x 16? eta: Guess it is 12x12x6, good luck to all the shipping Diser's.

I'll have on our green shirts from Karl..they are very comfy. We are not in a rush to get to the port. No need to stand in line. My spa appt. isn't until after the lifeboat drill...hahahaha

Ok so my kind lds neighbor brings this book over called Twilight by Stephanie Meyer. Has anyone else read it yet? is it scary? not sure if this book is for me. need some guidance here.....

My Niece is into this author. It is teenage (meaning teenage characters) vampire fiction.

Got home got kids in bed time to Dis!!
Drive home was funny I detoured a little as part of our freeway was closed as they are redoing a small portion of it, no biggie. Jacinda wanted drive thru and Dom fell asleep and did not keep me company so I sang along with the radio for a bit. :)

Thanks for having us even though we came late and stayed way too late! Kids had great fun Jacinda says Molly is cool and Dominic asked if we could go to the "little guys" house again tomorrow. I asked him if he had fun and he said yes and said "the guy is good playing nintendo". I then spent a good five minutes in the car teaching Dominic to say Wilson. He asked the girl and the moms name too so I think he has it all down now. :thumbsup2

hahahahah, I like the little guy and depending on my name,(oh is mine the mom) I might like it instead of Nan too :lmao:

Sorry I couldn't wait up for you to get home, too tired.

Now, I'm waiting for coffee to brew then tackling the desk.

. . . It is his job to stay sober and he is responsible for his sobriety. The rest of the world has to continue as normal - especially on a vacation. Think about it like diabetes, high blood pressure or high cholesterol. The diabetic is responsible for what goes in their mouth.
Thank you, Kelly, for the helpful information.

WELL PEOPLE>>>>>>>>>BAD NEWS.....
I called to ask about sending the boxes I had been packing and was told that you can no longer send anything to this service. So shipping to your hotel is the ONLY option. I will be removing the info from shirley from the first post and then freak out about what the heck I am gonna do with all my crap. :scared1:

So 2 suit cases
1 carry on
and your purse is all you are allowed to bring...........

Expenses:

I think I'm safe: AFTER tips and my two DCL excursions, I'll still have $500 in OBC and assorted Disney rewards/gift card/dollars. Considering how many people I owe DOD's to, it might be close! Don't have any spa expenses, but I'm still considering the rainforest package. If I remember correctly, a vist each sea day just about equals the per day cost without the package. I'll need to double check that later on.

Still have several out of pocket expenses to take care of/plan for : trip insurance (which I will buy next week), two non-DCL excursions and related transportation, my share of the Hyatt (MONICA..I'M TREATING TO ROOM SERVICE!), my share of the Hummerzine, assorted porter tips, dinner at the Hyatt/MCO, my share of the car rental for the trip from LA to AZ and brunch/lunch at DTD. I think that's it.

.

Thanks Jackie - but you DO know that you don't need to do that!

Umm...optional 35 used:hippie:

:rotfl:That's what they're there for!

I did something this past Sunday that my members loved. I had a list of the 20 worst restaurant foods.

Number one, which had people laughing hysterically was a dish from the Outback that has 72 points for one order!

Well, I bought the "surprise" camera. Actually, it really is going to be a surprise because I was told to not buy it.

I ended up buying another Fuji, because I've been so happy with the one I got last spring. I also couldn't resist because it was, including a rebate, 47% off.

I think I may need to look at the lowepro backpack.

Which Fuji did you get. We are on our second Fuji. Most recent purchase was the E900.
