Ok i have had a really bad day. I am supposed to graduate in May. Well my school decided I need to take more class b/c they made a mistake and some of my others won't count. I am so mad and upset. I am going to on Monday to get it worked out hopefully. I am not giving them more $$. One person told me everything ok, one said to give up school , and the other said you have to take the classes. I guess the disability office and Dean are going to be brought in on this too. My mom was ready to drive over there and give them a piece if her mind, especially the lady who told me to give up completely. Then the Dr. was rude about giving me my CAT scan for next Tues.

So sorry about "NEW" requirement. It did actually happen to me just before I was going to Graduate. It was a few years ago but the answer I got was the review board doesn't start until the springtime to review each person's file to make sure all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. Well they said I was one class short and in my undergrad requirements and I would have to take it in the fall. Even though I way more than enough credits to graduate someone in the counseling office missed that one and they couldn't do anything about it. I wrote letters and all. I was able to walk to May but actually didn't get my dipolma until December. Then they must of felt bad so they let me walk again the following May. I am sorry about your situation. I hope it all works it for you on Monday. Just get all your transcripts in order and report cards together and go in prepared! Good Luck!

All I remember from 15 plus years ago was getting up very early and being on deck all day till the evening time when we were on the Pacific side. My dad took a picture of me sleeping on the deck in the afternoon. It is a very long day! I am glad we have a balcony. I was thinking about getting around 5am to be ready for the first set of the locks. Maybe I will have some company upstairs on Deck 10?

Hmmm...I have no effects from the time change. I wonder why some feel it more? I find that interesting. Neither DH or I really feel it. Of course I don't normally get jet lagged either.

I always wonder how other people adjust so easily, we are terrible adjusters. It takes us forever to adjust. Usually we are barely adjusted when it is time to go home.

OH, MY, HOW EXCITING! I really want to move into a condo after our son goes back to college this fall, but the house prices have dropped, and now we are going to wait for them to go up, we'll probably be here for another 20 years!

We always say we want to move to the beach, but not until the housing market is better... so 20 years sounds right to me.

Hang in there... the same thing happened to me with one of my degrees. I fumed and finally just did it and got it over with. It made me mad, but I did it faster than I'd ever done classes before. Those extra classes turned out to be some of my favorite class subjects. Trust me I feel your anger. I finished a class today that was kicking my butt. I turned in my final paperwork and called the testing office then sent a 3 page letter to the professor explaining why I felt this class needed to be completely re-evaluated and replace the book. So, you're not alone today.

I got one this year, I'm a believer now and forever. On the fence about getting it for the kids.

I've been getting flu shots since I turned 50. Having a cold is one thing, but the flu is wicked!!!

I HATE Aplets and Cotlets! My mom's old boyfriend used to send us those every year when we lived in Illinoia......thank goodness she moved to Florida, and so did we.......Chocolate anytime!

Thanks. I have worked so hard to get where I am to be told no. I am in tears and eveyone is yelling at me about it. My mom is yelling b/c she is mad at the school and DH is going to help me get ready for Mon. It's not my fault according to their website I am right. I am transfering to a 4yr school after this. They told me to take classes that now they say won't count and I need to take more.

I am trying to figure out if I should bring my laptop along with us. Hopefully I will not be doing any work on the trip as I should be getting an extension on my current contract to take me past when we come back from the trip. I was planning on using it to store and edit the many pictures I'll be taking, as well as using it as a DVD player for Liam's favourite TV show - Corner Gas.

Anyone else bringing one along?

I'm bringing my iBook G4--I just added some RAM and changed out the hard drive (from 30 GB to 160 GB)--it's ready for anything now!

Not bored. I just actually can keep up. I feel like a part of the conversations instead of jumping in here and there. The option was go home and stay in bed or go to the hospital. I wanted my bed instead of the hospital ones. If I only had this access last year for the TA. Remember I put Alex in charge so I was bored just laying in bed. I have gone through all my magazines. I got a book from the neighbor called "Twilight" and 2 movies. I was trying to read a Passage between Us before I got sick now I just can't put in the dedication needed to read it properly. So back to the library with one. Not that I can concentrate much. i am still trying to figure out the boards and why certain things happen. At least with typing I am not talking which makes me cough. Alex turned off all the phones in the house and i have never heard it sooo quiet for the past 3 days. hopefully makes sense almost time to netty pot those sinuses again.

At least my assistant is made of steel it seems like. Now matter what bug I get she never gets anything so the business doesn't skip a beat. And a lot she can do from her home expect pull products for delivers. A lot of my business is done on the internet via the website once you are a client and know some basics.
