DH is a big boy and can pack for himself.
However, I do give him a DETAILED checklist.

I certainly pack for John, but not sure yet what he will be taking. He doesn't sunbathe, we're not going on any other beach but CC and not sure we will ever get in the pool, so one swimsuit will probably do!!!

Shorts, well 3/4 pairs. His suit and a 2/3 of long pairs of trousers because of all the evening meals!!!

oh if I let DH pack, nothing would coordinate together and he'd probably have no undies or socks.....a pair of flops and bathing suit would probably be it!

If it is an engine issue, will that affect our cruise? Does anyone know if the ship is scheduled for some "time off" before making the Canal cruise?

I think if he had his own suitcase he would pack himself(under my direction ), but we always mix clothes since we had a suitcase not arrive. He does usually want to know what he is taking and sometimes takes some out to give me more space!!!!!!!

They have a great Travel special edition.

Also the local Baltimore Sun newspaper had a great section on Travel.

Got off the phone with DCL. The cast member told me that
8:00 APL
8:15 PLA
8:30 LAP

Has anyone else called? I am hoping the info is consistent.

Do you think this means that 5:30 would be APL, 5:45 PLA, 6:00 LAP??

Nope I don't pack for my husband.
Nor my wife either!

As for pants and shorts. I certainly will pack more shorts than pants. I have a few pairs of pants that zip off the legs so I can combine shorts and pants. War the shorts all day then zip on the legs and go to dinner.

I'm also packing my suit, a tux and a my pirate costume. Thinking about leaving the patent leather shoes at home and just going with one pair of dress shoes. Will have to see how they look with the tux. I'm only planning on bringing one swimsuit (cause that's all I own).

I'm more worried about packing the camera equipment and other electronic devices. I can always buy more clothes if need be. I'm pretty sure Disney will be willing to sell me another shirt or two ....

I was thinking the same thing. If it were engine problems, I sure hope they get it resolved before we cruise.

That's how I understand it. I requested PLA and the cast member said it was 5:45.

Oh, ok. Thanks. I requested the PLA - I love being in Luminere's for formal and PC for pirate night. I think that gets that accomplished? If I don't get it, I'll be one of "those" people (hee..hee...reference to 3/1 thread) to go to the dining area upon embark to ask to change. I don't know why it is important to me...more important than the time. We are in the main dining, which sounds like the minority of this group.

So I have 2 "to-do's" upon check-in - Palo's brunch and dining rotation check. Is there anything else I should focus on that first day besides having fun?

I was at a Hospital wide staff meeting the other day. They were talking about the demographics of the staff; Baby Boomers, Gen X and Milennials.

It was very enlightening and explained alot about the feeling of entitlement amongst Gen X and Millennials.

Would like to know what was said. If you don't want to post it here we will have to remember to discuss it at dinner one night okay?
