A BIG HELLO to you, neighbor!! We plan to be in the parks 10-10 (we are hoping El Torito serves dinner late) than back again 10-8. Mine will be the crew upside down and all around for 10-12 straight hours each day. If you care to trade the mouse for the thrills, let me know. We'd love to meet you.

Would have liked to meet, but had to be in the southern part of the county to meet a new client. Hope you have a great time.

I was just looking at the Disneyland Y.E.S. classes website last night. They really do look great.

Daniel's (my freshman in college) had a science teacher in 8th grade who loved Y.E.S. classes. He took a group from DC to WDW to do them....I got to go as an adult and I really enjoyed it as well.

He got home OK. Took about a half hour. Not bad. Good thing he works so close to home. I am soooo enjoying this snowstorm. It is just beautiful! We haven't had this much snow at one time since the blizzard of 1978. Sounds silly but I was really hoping to see another big storm while I am still alive. Guess I can die happy now! Oh, wait. I need to go on a cruise first!

Everyone must think I am really crazy now!

Not crazy at all. I always love the hushed sounds of snow falling at night - traffic noises are gone and everyone is inside. I always loved going for walks at night while it was snowing when we lived in PA.

Thanks.....I did something fun this afternoon.

My best friend took me to one of those "Dinner Done" places and I made 10 meals. It was really really fun and I made 10 meals in 2 hours. We ate one tonight Double Stack Beef Quesadillas YUMMY!!
Here is the others I made:

Chicken Cordon Blue
Chicken Saltimbocca with White Wine Sause
Pork Chops with Roasted Red Pepper Bruschetta
Crab Cakes
Filet of Salmon with orange Reduction
Honey Rosemary Chicken
Pork Roast with Creamy Mustard Sauce
Shirmp and Feta Orzo.

My tenth meal I took 4 sides....

I think this will take a lot of stress off at dinner time......

I'm going to one of those type places on Thursday (Dinner A'Fare) to make 6 dinners. I split a 12 dinner package with a friend as our freezer space is limited. Reallly like it the last time we went.

I'm finally caught up on this thread (still have 15-20 pages to catch up on the last thread though )

We spent yesterday at DL - had a great time - it was crowded but no lines really - longest we waited was about 10 minutes for Big Thunder.

Perfect 70 degree weather.

Today was the same - spent the morning at the zoo. Been doing and dishes in between catching up. (We need a dishes smiley)

to all needing them and know I would switch with anyone in the snow zone in a heartbeat if I could! Of course it looks very possible we'll be leaving CA for FL - still no snow.

Hi Lisa, when do you think you'll be making the move? At least you'll be close to WDW now.....after doing DL for a while. It's good to be a pro at both.

Hopefully we'll find out more info on Monday. The guy Darrell has been talking to was out of the office Thursday then we were out Fri so they should talk again on Monday. Darrell has asked what time frame they are looking at for the transfer and mentioned that mid-June would be our choice as we have this big vacation in May. Plus in our experience hiring and transfers always take a while in the government anyway - which right now we would prefer a bit of a delay as I can't imagine packing and moving before the cruise

We both think it will be great to be in Fl - only 6 1/2 hours from my parents/sister and a short plane ride to PA for Darrell's family and our friends. Plus there is so much to do in FL - not to mention FL res rates for cruises

How exciting Lisa. I hope you get to do it after the cruise. It'll be great for you to be on the East coast again since all your family and friends are here. There are so many positive reasons for making this move for you. I hope it happens in June for you.

You could be like Monica.....an ambassador of greetings. We always drive and do a night over in Jacksonville. We'll definitely get in touch with you as we're passing through. After cruise we always spend some time in Orlando. Plenty of opportunities to get together.

Yes Dennis, Amy is back. But she leaves again on the 22nd! I'll let her tell you guys the stories when we meet again.

I really miss my time here, but I think it is going to be more and more limited. Some things have happened at work that I am trying to deal with and my time has become a big issue.

I know your job can be pretty intense sometimes. Hope all gets worked out for you.
