It's the day of the PC crossing, but Karen was going to supply us with everything including the tasting info that we're supposed to be doing to go with the champagne.

It's not just a matter of buying the champagne and drinking it, that's a party of a different kind.....this is supposed to be a tasting.

I have 50 tiaras that I'm not going to be able to get on board either. I've got fish gifts to pack in a bag now that I can't ship.

I can't see how I'll manage to bring champagne, tiaras, fish gifts, themed costumes, formal wear, all without pre shipping a couple of boxes. I'm going to have to rethink all of this and just do the best I can.

Can you ship them to somebody that lives in Florida?

Ok, I hope nobody is too much of a wine snob (that includes you Californiians:) ) On the TA I brought 2 boxes of wine, YES, I SAID BOXES. I like Pinot Noir and Corbet Canyon has it a box. They are unbreakable and will fit nicely in a backpack or roll on carry on suitcase.

They didn't last ALL cruise, but when I got to Rome I got more, and then again in Croatia, Italy, France, Sicily.....un,,,,, well, that's enough of that!

And guess what - I concur, I bought my wine boxes for the cruise, they were going in my box to be checked - but now I will need to see if they will fit in the carry-on. I think on is the Corbet Canyon Pinot and we have a merlot as well.

Silly really because I do not drink wine each day when I am home:confused3

I hate to say it but this means no champagne girls......there's no way to get the champagne on the boat. If I try to pack it in a suitcase, it will be confiscated. Sorry Ladies, but I just don't see any way that we can make it happen. Any thoughts.

I think we are back to buying it on board, no big deal, it's vacation it will work out...

Don't worry, our DS, Mike is still GTY....I think he SHOULD sleep in the lifeboats! Last time on the TA, he had an inside stateroom all to himself and he could stay up all night and sleep all day. We hardly ever saw him. I looked back at our photo's and really not too many of the whole family together! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Maybe he could have the champagne for company:lmao:

I am a wine snob, but feel free to drink what you like, I'll just stick with the good stuff :thumbsup2
