Add a couple pieces of salami and 2 Mickey waffles and all of that is what Tyler had for breakfast every day onboard.

I thought Nick was the only one weird enough to eat salami at breakfast. He had it every morning.

I suppose Paul wouldn't be willing to run a Mickey bar by my house, then?

I was so bummed today and yesterday, paying for food!

Speaking of food, it's funny how differently people experience things. I thought the food on our cruise was somewhat better than the last time I cruised (June 06). The only thing that was not good was the steak I had the first night. After that, everything I had was great! I almost always followed our server's recommendations, however.

What was with that steak the first night? I had it too, and it wasn't good. Everything else was great. There were a couple of nights that I just didn't feel like eating and nothing looked particularly good those nights. I was just too worn out from our day's activities, I think. Never felt sick. The rest of the time I thought the food was quite good.

ok first load of laundry done...now I think we are heading to the store for food. I took today off, didn't get up until noon. Hopefully we can make it tomorrow.

By the way at breakfast this am, Taylor looked at Jaide and said knock the rock and they did, I started laughing...see what they pick up on a cruise!

I am just so happy to have my Charmin back. Fifteen days of that sandpaper bathroom tissue is killer!

Ben went to the towel folding demonstration and then made towel animals for our room steward the rest of the trip. The room steward got a kick out of it.

we did that on our 1 st cruise too, Wilson wasn't old enough then (5) to remember, between now and then he has become a paper airplane freak, and other oragami (sp) to follow.

Wilson also eats the salami...seems these boys have lots in common and we didn't even know it.

Lori, did our boys play together that you know of? I'll ask Wilson when he gets home if he remembers Ben and Nick. Ben is 10 right?

back from Publix. Everyone is on vacation here the store was full of swimsuits with cover ups and people buying their goodies for the beach. Gorgeous day out, like the one on CC although it is 91 here.

so weird, I feel as though I need to prepare an appetizer and salad with dinner so I am making a cheese type platter with hearts of palm and a ceasar salad.

I am so glad I took today off. I needed a day to recoup.

She has to be kidding. That would be considered liquid so you couldn't take it on the plane.

ok, we are going swimming. John made it home and whatever he thought was wrong with the air was not it. SO it's not working. The Gulf breeze is coming through and I may scrap my spicy red pepper shrimp pasta for something cooler.

I watched the two episodes of Grey's I missed. What did you think of the season finale?

re going back to the ports. I would definitely like to go back to PV and Cabo. Aruba was not what I thought at all. And I think I saw enough of Acapulco.

in fact - night one in DL House Hunters In'l was on and the lady was looking for a house in Cabo right close to where we were. It was gorgeous (the one she picked) and John agreed....it was all the Spanish style with Talavera etc that I love.

I was the one that told Daniel about the single rider line for CA Screaming. Glad you guys had a good time! It's good to hear from you!


I MISS EVERYONE! It was so much fun to be surrounded by friends! Hope everyone is doing well and adjusting to reality as well as can be expected!

Thanks Cheri for letting him know about the Single Rider....we felt like we were really "in the know!" With limited time in DL it was a nice time saver!!

I MISS EVERYONE AS WELL...but I think I am lucky to have come home to a houseful loving family who now realize how much I do around here....

I made a yummy dinner tonight (I felt like V again!!) Spinach and ricotta stuffed chicken breasts, rice and salad. It was weird looking at my family instead of Kathe, Tammy, Jackie and Cheri.....

The weather here in DC is wonderful right now....we ate on the back porch.

My brother brought back my mom today. She is a mess....She has taken so many anxiety drugs she is a total mess. It will take me a week to get her back in shape. I take her to the doctor tomorrow for her 6 week check up.

please stop talking about food, my room service button broke already, I tried to get Paul to pick up a BLT on his way home from getting Molly at play practice and he told me no. Darn it. I had the $1 ready and everything

I would love to know how your car rental in Aruba worked out and which company you used. We want to go off on our own on this island as we have been there before on a previous cruise so we aren't doing any ship excursions

That is so funny....the one on Sunday night was done in Aruba and they ended up buying an 8000 sq foot home overlooking the lighthouse at California point in that neighborhood they were building on the golf course there! Last nights was St. Maarten....let me tell you, the caribbean is looking better and better after coming home to Seattle.

so that is the solution, go on a 2 week cruise without them and they will learn all that we do around the house?!

Sorry to hear that things with mom are stressful again.
