This was my first cruise but I will tell you that it was better than the dinner I made tonight.

Yeah, me too! I had honey nut Cheerios with yogurt.

How did practice go for her? Is her hair still up in braids? I can't tell you how many times I have tweaked the girls braids but they still want it to be up..... When is the show? By the way, tell her Jaide & Taylor say "break a leg"!

practice was great. We didn't think she would have a chance for a dress rehersal, so she got lucky. Show opens tomorrow and nope the braids came out during class today and mine came out after the doctor appt. My head hurt.

She will love that Jaide and Taylor gave her a break a leg

Sitting in our hotel room having put the kids to bed after our last night in Disneyland. Tomorrow is another sad day on the trip. Probably the saddest of the bunch.

We fly home, thus ending one huge vacation. Shaelyn (DD6) was quite upset leaving the park this evening. She really didn't want to go.

But I guess we have to in order to pay off this trip and get planning for the next (I heard Disney Magic to Japan in 2010 somewhere, right Steph?)!

I will do a proper check in later when we actually get home and a little settled. Consider this a drive by posting.

My vacation would have been totally ruined if I did not get a towel animal with sunglasses and enough shampoo to stock my house until my next cruise.

Really, I thought we were still able to have some fun on this list....and I really don't think I was serious about any of it. I thought our hostess was a sweetheart but was not as friendly and outgoing as others' we had in the past or friends' had on this cruise (and Gaylean and I shared the same host which is why the conversation started) but that aside, I don't think comments like yours need to be made in an attacking way. I am sure you were just joking too.......

Thanks for putting up with this old 50 yr old for the Outdoor Adventure This was one of the highlights of this cruise for me. I was so elated to have survived this day I'm still pumped about it! I would love to zip-line again, but just can't ever see me rappelling EVER again!

Ian, congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I didn't know about it until I read it here. Are you guys going to get another wearing out of your tuxes, tails and top hats? I can't wait for the pictures!

As far as weight gain--I'd bought a scale right before the trip so weighed myself before leaving home on the 7th. When I got home last night, I stepped on it and it read...127 pounds! In my dreams! I got off and got back on and this time it read...345 pounds! To make a long story short, I ended up taking it back to Costco today and getting another one. According to this one, I gained less than a pound! I can't believe it! I guess taking the stairs and walking from one end of the ship to the other several times a day paid off! But I ate so much, or at least it seemed like I did. But for the most part it wasn't junk (well, except for the desserts!). Someone else mentioned craving sugar--I was really craving sugar Sunday and Monday. Today was much better.

I MISS EVERYONE! It was so much fun to be surrounded by friends! Hope everyone is doing well and adjusting to reality as well as can be expected!

Believe it or not, we will not be wearing tuxes. It will be very simple. Just the two of us, the officiate and the witnesses. The witnesses will be rented since we don't know anyone in Windsor.

I'm waiting until I get to my WW meeting on Sunday to weigh myself. I don't know how I'm going to face my members!

So, guess who went to your meeting while you were on vacation. Yep, sister Dianne. She plans on being there this Sunday, I believe. She liked your sub, and may use her Wed meetings as fall back for the days she can't get out of bed on Sundays!

Only a 5-6 lbs gain for me (the same 6 I lost right before the trip). Peg picked up a new George Forman for me...so I'll be doing lots of grilled meat and veggies now.



Well, I was only going to DIS for 30 minutes, then pay bills...but I'm out of time already. Gotta hit the shower and go face the living nightmare that is my desk at work. At least there will be some overtime to help start a new cruise account!
