WHAT?!! See what I miss by missing out on the adult events? CONGRATULATIONS! :cool1: Are you inviting a couple hundred DIS friends? I promise to leave the pint-sized monster at home! :rotfl2: Yup, you were close enough to our room to see/hear Damien (aka Tyler).

We might have to rent a ship to accommodate everyone. Tyler can be our ring bearer.

[One of my favorite moments, out of a few hundred, is you Holly, standing outside your stateroom. You said that it was a "Mommy timeout."]

Homework is all of a sudden sooooooo hard and it is not second grade work, it is for fifth graders. It's like starting the year again.

Homework??? Did someone mention HOMEWORK????

Are my services needed???

I'm running a post-cruise special...

NOT!!!!!
:rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Ian and Sukie- Congrats :cool1: I missed this news too! Okay, if we don't all get invited you know we at least will be expecting lots and lots of pics :thumbsup2

We're going up to Windsor to get married. I hear that it is the place for weddings this year.

The night before the wedding will be spent in Detroit.

If that ain't classy I don't know what is!

You can't see as well in Fantasmic. I was behind two people but could only see part of the show. At DL everything is alot more themed than at WDW. Pirates was WAY better, Haunted Mansion was the same but DH like the building better at DL, Indy was awesome way better than Dinosaur. There were alot more small details at DL. I LOVED DL but WDW will always my favorite. We will be going back to DL though so we can see it all!!!

Doesn't sound like I would have enjoyed Fantasmic as well either. I hope I get to visit DL sometime in the future, but it won't be anytime soon. I do have a trip to WDW planned in Oct. Thought I might cancel it since I have now booked the back to back cruise in Sept09...but I am thinking I might really NEED the vacation again come Oct LOL ;) So...we'll see...

I can't imagine what you will wear on that day :worship:

Well, you'll only be a couple of hours away from where I am then. Let me know what time the ceremony is and I'll make a toast (or two ;) ) in your honour!

Ian, tell Sukie if I'd known it was a contest I could have easily won! Probably would have too if it hadn't been for all that stair climbing and zip-lining I did ;)
Kathe

You and Sukie can make bets for the Sept 2009 cruise.

I agree Gaylean...she was really nice but not as fun as some of the other one we had in 05, or some of the ones I have heard about. And, finally the last 2 days she got me some extra cream and such, but it took 13 days of asking! And, I tried for the sunburn stuff that the concierge levels get, but that was a definate no go...I didn't have the same pull as Nan did apparently! :goodvibes

How odd. We walked away with 5 tubes of the moisturizer. Our steward was really great about giving us extra tubes. I guess we got lucky.

Lisa, how did you and Daniel make out at DL? How long did you end up spending there? Did you have fun? Did you keep warm? Hope you both managed to get in a few more hours of fun before heading home :) I bet the rest of your family was just as happy to have you both back home as you were to be there :goodvibes

Well, we made it to Disneyland no problem. We traveled with Tammy and her two kids. She was not feeling very well either. They hung out in the lobby till their room was ready.

Daniel and I went to DL and he had on shorts and a polo. The guy letting us in (we were able to use out WDW Tickets!!) asked Daniel if he was from Alaska!! haha

We were shocked how small the castle was!! We had fun...it was very crowded....I loved DL but thought CA Adventure was just average. Daniel LOVED CA Screaming. Thanks to whoeer told him about single rider tickets!!

I am very happy right now. Those of you who met me know I love to take in stray people (mostly kids)...Daniel has 4 of his friends here now and Vanessa and we are all sitting around the kitchen table and I am hearing all kinds of college stories!! So much fun...these kids just crack me up!!

I wish we could have spent time in DL, but it just wasn't in the cards. Maybe sometime later this or early next year we'll some of of our DVC points and get out there and stay at the Grand Californian.

Jill ---- do you have any Mickey bars left?

You had Mario, right??? Thats why! He was cool!!!

Yes, we had Mario. He was incredible. The best steward we've had on a cruise. Not only was he quite free with the tubes of goodies, he was fretting over me the fist day I got sick and spent a few hours napping in the room because I was so out of it.

Mario was really great.

(we had quite a line up in those rooms in that corridor)
