Just got a formal at Bloomindale's. Now have to finish packing. Kids are asleep. Feels like Christmas!! See you all soon!

As I was getting ready to leave work tonight, my mgr informed me that I'm 2 hrs short of the vacation time I requested off for this trip.....so that means I get to work from 830a-1030a. I'm just a bit miffed...if I had known this last week I would have worked extra time on different days. Oh well - can't do anything about it now.

Glad those who've travelled today have gotten in safely.....safe travels to those who go tomorrow & Saturday.

Can't wait to see those at the DTD meet and at the HY.

Doesn't look like I'll be able to make the Epcot meet---turns out I still have stuff to do and now 2 less hours to do it in (well more like 3 if you include the commute).

Ian - CM at the store said that they don't make a Tink version.

Bit of excitment tonight. We went out after Mike got home to fill the car with gas so we can make it to the airport tomorrow morning at ungodly o'clock. The plan was to pick up some dinner too.

On the way into the parking lot, someone drove into our car!

We are fine. She was probably only going 5 mph. It was one of those things where you see her driving at you and think why can't she see us 5 ft in front of her?

The crumple (kind of a mini crash) did remove a lot of bits and pieces from the Escape; but it is still drivable. Which is the best thing, because NO WAY is our luggage fitting in my little car.

4 big suitcases, 1 carryon, 1 lowepro. Two of the suitcases are overweight.

I was planning on working on the weight issue tonight, but ending up spending the time talking to the police, insurance, and filing an accident report!

How long do I have to put my luggage on Weight Watchers before they lose 4 pounds each?

Better go to bed. We have tickets to Pirates & Princess tomorrow night.

Hard to believe, isn't it?! I still don't feel like it's real. I guess I can't believe it's really happening! Tyler's dad tells me he's ecstatic!

You know, I was thinking today that the time seems to have gone by really quickly, now that it's here. Is that crazy??

we're here...MCO Hyatt that is. Our luggage was over, I think the first bag was 70lbs....we rearranged at the curbside and got them down to ~ 50lbs. Okay 4 of them were over and they let us slide. 8 bags checked, only because Paul didn't "need" anything in his carryon and crammed it in mine. Flights we great. Wilson and I enjoyed talking flying and he even had a nice chat and photo op with the pilot on the Chicago-MCO leg. Steve, nice guy.

Checked in and yup the wine made it but for some reason they hadn't processed my request for luggage pick up, so I brow beat my husband to let the bell guy get it. I tell ya, that DH needs a vaca. Having a beer and AC and watching some old car race movie with Whoppie and John Levitz and more.

We pretty much are going to flake on space center tomorrow, Paul is just to tired to do anything, so whatever we'll hang out and see what comes up. Maybe some shopping

I forgot to my black fancy sweater, I got it at Dland Paris

We are in room 6051 Hyatt MCO, call us we wanna play

Hi everyone! Well, after a completely stressful, crazy day we're at LAX at a hotel. We'll be at the airport at 7am for our 8:30 flight!!!! See you all on the other end either at the Hyatt or the port!!!

Just a quick update. I am going to Orlando today and will be at the Hyatt on Friday. I have a car so I will probably go to WDW on Friday. If there are any DIS meets either at the Hyatt or DTD, will someone just post here on the thread. I will be arriving about 10:30 PM tonight so I hope I will be able to say Bon Voyage in person to some of you lucky cruisers.

Hello everyone, we're here. Our flight went well and now we are at the Nick Hotel. The hotel is way better than I ever imagined. The rooms are normal but the pools are better than they show on the TV. The kids had a great time today. We are all tired but there is no way we are sleeping right now. Staying at the hotel was a surprise to Ethan for his b-day tomorrow. When he saw the outside of the building he got excited and then said "Wait, we aren't going on the cruise"! Oh no we are doing BOTH

I hope everyone got to their destinations safely.

So call me or I'm calling you!!!! We scrapped our plans for tomorrow, invite us over for swimming....

No More Bus Rides

Well, my final commute home from work.

We finished packing tonight. It was fairly easy because everything was pretty organized.

We have 3 bags, ranging from 31 pounds to 40 pounds. I'm afraid both tuxes and the dinner jackets went into the same garment bag. I realized that I'd probably have to send them out for pressing anyway, so what difference did it matter.

All the electronics stuff is packed in carry-on backpacks. Everything that needed to be printed is printed. We're all set.

There's even a special stow away in one bag, someone to keep Planky company. She's an old gal, but still has plenty of zing in her.

I sort of wish we were leaving earlier tomorrow, but it is what it is.

I'll be working at home and knocking off at about 2PM. Then at about 3:15 PM we'll head out to O'Hare.

Ian, I thought of you the whole time we were at the Chicago airport...We had great potbelly sandwiches, for real this time I think when we road trip to visit bueller (where is he by the way) we need to make a run thru Chicago, my kinda town....

Does anyone know where I can buy some soap and shampoo for sensitive skin? I forgot Ethan's soap We don't have a car so it would have to be close to the port.

what does he use, call me, I can get it at Target, we are getting a car tomorrow and I'll bring it over for when you invite us to come swimming

It's only 11:15 I'm awake, only < 4 hour sleep last night and all the drama I'm ready to go go go.

Thanks for all the kind words on Casey today. So strange how life works out for us. I've cried off and on all day and I'm sure I will be doing the same for the next few weeks, so please bear with me. I'll be fine, just need to shed the tears and find the memories that make me smile.

I'm so looking forward to seeing all of you soon.

I'm going to TRY to get to sleep so I can wake up because I'm skeered of the people I might see tomorrow.

Is anyone here at Hyatt allready?????
